My orbit is stuck after installing windows mobile 6

I have installed windows mobile 6 on my orbit and its now stucked in the boot screen wat shall i do now.. plz help my orbit is so much to me

As far as I know there is no WM6 for the orbit yet !!!!!!!!!
So Where did you get it from?

Perhaps risk with other WM6 ROM.

No offence meant but in my opinion you do deserve the noob of the year award.Did you even try to take out time to read the posts in the forum,or the wiki??As of now there is no wm6 for the artemis,people have bricked their devices by trying to flash different carrier roms for the same device and you tried it with a unknown rom for a unknown device.Try to go through the forums and read the WIKI,though i doubt it would help in your case.Try imeiunlocker.com too.

Your not the first to have done this in the Artemis forum and prob not the last. Your device maybe salvagable if yoj can get it into bootloader mode. hold down the voice speed dial button and soft reset - you should then enter bootloader mode 'multicolored' screen' If you do attach device to pc via usb cable and flash factory rom. You do not need to be activesynced to do this. Before you flash again with a non-factory rom, your device MUST be cid unlocked.

Or go buy an Eten X500 or M700.
Eten has provided a WM6 upgrade for these devices, just this weekend.

A noob is someone who comes here and asks "How can I upgrade to WM6" and is politely told they can't or less politely told to search. Flashing your expensive pocket PC / Phone with god only knows what software, (Probably one of Longhairs copies of Windows 95), does not rank high enough to be classed as noob. Surely anyone might research what to do first???

Afxal first sorry for me a being such an ass in my earlier post,you certainly did not deserve those comments,mistakes do happen as meschle pointed out,go through all the posts carefully because in my experience in this forum some of the junior members have far greater knowledge than the seniors,and you could ask some of the mods for help,hope you retreive your bricked artemis.

I also hope you sort it, good luck, Nokias suck don't get one.

Jeez, don't get too emotional guys haha! First of all he just comes here telling us he installed WM 6, what kind of rom, what filename. He gives us way too less info to be helpful. And secondly he doesn't give a *** about the thread. He won't respond! So he is an ass! haha

[Q] Where to find HTC program updates?

I saw that guys like DUTTY uses new versions of the HTC programs we already have on our Diamonds, For instance HTC Album with facebook support. Where can we mere mortals find these updates?
Hope someone can help me out i am way to impatient to wait for danish 3 getting themselves together to do updates on their roms

Hi there mate.
What dutty have done is the same as i doing right now, ..
The Raphael and Blackstone (HD), is the newest builds out there, and we simple just take them, and port the to fit in to our diamond.
It takes a some time to do it, but when its done, its great
I don't think you can simpley update the program on your (maybe stock?) rom, so you have to install a customized one
Anyway, i am currectly building a rom, where the most things of raphael and blackstone will be included. If its interesting?

Thats right, but he aren't german .. Anyway u have to download a danish rom, and then unpack it and burrow some packages from Noonski, to make this to real ..

Which WM6.5 ROM to get?

I'm planning to put WM6.5 on my Touch HD.
First: Will there be an official one from HTC or do I have to get it here?
If I take one from here, which one would you recommend? I'd like a clean one with no software pre-installed. (except what you would expect from HTC like manila)

1) no there wont be an official 6.5 rom for the HD
2) the which rom should i choose question is frowned upon here cuz it starts arguments, all i can suggest is try diffrent roms, each one offers diffrent things, you'll soon find one you like

May also want to try this page in the wiki....should be almost up-to-date. If its not up-to-date then the rest can be found in rom development forum

well i guess i'm just leaving my original rom...
i flashed my artemis and i remember having a hard time reading through many threads around here. i don't want to risk doing something wrong... i found a rom that seens good but i couldm't find any download link. what i've heard so far about WM6.5 is not really worth going through all that.
maybe i'll change my decision soon though

I AM being helpful. Follow the instructions and you'll get what you need. This is simply the wrong place to post. If we just answer every single post, regardless of what section it's in then the forum would be a massive mess and you'd never be able to follow anything.

Anyway,
The ROM section is dead, I already tried posting there some questions before, they look for ROM downloads and updates, not for questions.
I posted here because I am desperate, I am struggling from my new ROM update.
If anyone knows what I can use to simply revert back to my previous ROM, ill be very grateful ..

I was so confused that i could not find this thread , i read every header twice and could not allocate the correct thread, i was so disoriented ..
i don't need the "new" XBmod-WP7-V1.02 rom , there are not so many improvements that would profitable for me... thanks anyway

No problem dude , the benefit is that it is chevron unlocked and some tweaks like prevent relocking after zune connecting is solved
