I have a little question, if you flash the tattoo via the goldcard method, does it also flash the radio or it leaves it out because there is no root access?

Here the radio is not FM radio. This radio is the Tattoo's wireless controls like the GSM/3G, WiFi and GPS. The RUU updates these controls according to its version.
I am having trouble switching the 3G radio on for airtel. I believe Tattoo comes with 3G radio can you confirm
indian tattoo don't have 3G hardware confirmed by HTC officials

but i am facing problem with network in India. it catches jst for smetime initially and then goes off

Downgrading radios is advised against, and we have every reason to believe the hype. We are currently working on a few other things, no clue when we'll get to 'doing' the modem part in-depth.

its not an am/fm radio
its the update of the receiver for the g1
its an update for the phone's antenna that receives the signal from the wireless carrier

Last two days i am facing this issue.SIM card signal also not taking, its searching all the time, i tried two service provider (AIRTEL, AIRCEL). both having same issue... even i re-flashed Original ROM but no luck...
Please help on this..

Hello there, so heres the story.
My mate got Atrix 4g and apparently he was playing in the settings mode and _accidentaly_ locked the phone to USA band only. Needless to say his phone no longer is able to make calls or use any other of the network modes now.
My question is how can I update the radio so phone works with other modes again ? I googled and tried master reset and factory reset with no luck.
Then I found this Hope this is right for Atrix 4g ? and will that image if I flash it over current one will update/over write the current RADIO and hopefuly make phone usable again? Should i flash this “1FF-olympus-user-2.3.6-4.5.141-111212-release-keys-signed-ATT-US-GAS_NA_OLPSGBATTSPE_P012.sbf.gz” over current firmware?
Or is there a way to just flash new RADIO to phone and be over with it ?
Or do I need to root / unlock bootloader on current phone settings then push CWM and use that to flash radios? And if so where do I get said radios?
Or can i just use RDS Lite 5.6 and find some RADIOS and flash them from there?

Just reflash the radio using fastboot. No need to flash a full sbf.

Can i install an interational radio firmware on my att atrix? I ask bc i took my atrix overseas and i cannot recieve 3g bc i think att cripples this frequency (900 i think).

Can you guys tell me how to flash RADIO with fast boot ? Im not very savvy with whole motola stuff. So any pointers or how-tos or quick steps here will be very helpful.

i think the problem is, you have not activated 3g on your sim. First activate 3g/4g on your network than get settings, enable package and than use. Also it might be problem with your network and make sure 3g/4g is available in your city.
Is the phone using the latest bootloader and radio?

How to check and can you give me a link.
Boot info fastboot mode and look at the bottom of the screen. The latest baseband is m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1701.07. The latest bootloader is makoz30f.
My baseband is m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1701.03.
My bootloader is makoz30d.
Please give a link of latest things sir...

try changing your location. i mean go outside of your home/office and than turn 3g on.

3G+4G fully supported inn my area... My other friends use.
I suggest loading a stock rom to see if that helps.

Did you tried a full wipe instalation of that rom and installed the last radio and bootloader?

I installed a latest version of bootloader & modem and i install this rom after full wipe. 3G not working... Which version of radio am i use ?
