Can we put touchflo 3D on the Jade?
some reviews mention that there is a 64Mb graphics processor in the Jade...
why will you touchflo 3D. Manila 2D is much faster.

Hi, What do we know about the ati graphics chip in the x1. i know it gas 128mb of ram but what can it do in terms of graphical power?
I think he has a gpu (ati infineon) but he don't had his driver as others HTC...

Once and for all. Diamond/Pro/HD/X1 all have 3d drivers! It's just that not every application is using it and the performance isn't groundbreaking. But they have those drivers!!
any 2d drivers? Thats really the only thing important to me. If i just wanted 3d drivers I would stick with my kaiser.
Seems everyone is focusing on making the 3D faster on the HD but I have yet to see anything which would use the faster 3D drivers.
Am I missing anything.
What about cranking the 2D drivers??

I know this has been discussed for I don't know how long now.
But I searched over XDA and Google and couldn't find one simple answer for one simple Question:
Why is the Diamond 2 so much faster (more responsive) than the Touch HD even with exactly the same ROM?
I tried Duttys Roms on both, I tried the newest Engergy Leo Roms on both
My Results:
Installing Programs -> on the diamond 2 faster
starting Programs -> the same
Manila -> Diamond 2 more responsive
Booting -> Diamond 2 faster
SPB Benchmark -> Diamond 2 a hell faster!
Video Cam -> Diamond 2 Cam much more smoother
Photo Cam -> Diamond 2 more realistic Photos (Touch HD kinda Yellow/Orange)
Why? I mean I thought those have both the same identical Hardware?
I really like the HD because of its superior Screen and the 3,5 mm headphone jack
I have to make a decision between one of the two devices and I like the hd so much but its so slow compared to the diamond 2
Maybe some of you can help me
I already made a decision against the xperia because its even slower!
Diamond 2 is definately better even tho HD got a bigger screen and a 3,5mm jack..
yeah it definitely seems so but why? same hardware? same drivers?

nope..only bigger resolution eats more ram...
their cpus are different
Well on SPB CPU Score they are almost the same but in File Transfer and Graphics the Diamond 2 scores higher!
yeah probably because in diamond2 it is new rom/flash chips and probably they added new gpu

Any word of a HVGA resolution android phone with the Snapdragon processor?
I've seen videos of the Droid on youtube, they seem some what laggy/low fps. Also with WVGA there will be problems with applications needing different resolutions...
Ive seen an old 400MHz CPU with a VGA reso screen running winMo 6.1 that was excruciatingly slow
So I think a Snapdragon processor with HVGA would run like a wild fire...

Developers can fix their apps rather easily, but it might take some time for all the Market apps to update. We can choose to have a "compatibility mode" in the latest SDKs that centers a HVGA view on a WVGA screen if there are problems (with raster graphics and 2D games, for example). I don't think the higher resolution is doing too much to lag the phone down.

One of the features of 2.0 is that Android (the system and applications) work on all Resolutions.
please help me to find it, playable with good fps, with amazing 3d graphic, any propositions?
