Has someone these 2 files for the italian WM2003SE OS? Or does someone know how I can get it? I'm becoming crazy, I cannot find them and I need them for the word completion in Italian language..

Find an Italian ROM that you can extract with dumprom.exe.
Perhaps this one?

I read that article and therefore I'm looking for these 2 files. Do you know in which .nbf file are they? And I'm trying to use dumprom to get these files but when I run it I wait for a long time but nothing happens...
I use this command:

it is in nk.nbf. And at first you should decrypt NBF to NBA
Why are you talking about nk.nbf and radio.nbf here in this thread?
Realy cannot find any of that in the Italian ROM I appointed you you earlier. Some people.....Grrr

PS A question fo mamaich: with dumprom is it possible to decrypt nbf files too, or do I have to use another tool?

thanks a lot for the help. At least, after 3 hours of downloading, I've succeded into overwriting the original files with the italian version and everything works fine. I've attached the two files in the italian, english, spanish and portuguese versions. If someone has these files for more languages is welcome to add them, because it's not so easy to find them on the internet.. :lol:

You can control them withy registry:

If you hardreset your device the files will default again.
If you overwrite the file and want to restore the default just delete the modified file and soft reset. The original ROM file will be restored.

Might be better placed on the FTP... not sure it the license on those files is anything GPL-y, I doubt it

I don't know if it would be legal or not.. It could because you can download the ROM files from many sites ( Asus site for example ), but I don't know if it's legal to decompress them..
I will leave this STUPID MESSAGE from myself for me not to ask anymore without being sure having DOUBLE and TRIPLE CHECKED every small detail...

Does anyone have ever tried using the CP1 and CP2 batch command on a v1.30.xx ROM on Universal ?
I have tried copying some files around placing correct commands within CONFIG.TXT but it seems I cannot get the expected result.
I have a .TSK theme I would like to copy from the ExtROM to the \Windows directory and then apply it (as is was applied in my original VODAFONE ROM), but I cannot get it to be copied...
I'm using the following lines:
CP1: \Extended_ROM\Vodafone.tsk
CP2: \Windows\Vodafone.tsk
EXEC:\Extended_ROM\cusTSK.exe \Windows\Vodafone.tsk
Is there something wrong I cannot see ? I also tried removing the space between CPx: and the \path\file but no success either...
Any hint ?
Did the CP1 and CP2 commands disappeared ? :-(

I own a qtek 9100
While I was updating the ROM 2.17.17.02(that I downloaded from this website) I got an error " WRONG NDF"
Anyone knows what could be the problem?

I suggest that you swap over to the "Wizard Upgrading etc" forum and start doing some basic research. The .nbf file contains a number of fies (OS, RAdio, Splash screens etc) all of which have a .nb extention. The .nbf file more than likely is packaged in some executable which is used to deploy it on your 9100. If you are getting a message saying wrong file then you are likely not using the correct ROM for your device or the file may be corruped.

when I install it, it stops at 85% and gives me a error message 326!

Can anybody grab own English ROM, zip'ed it and send to me?
How to do it describes here:
Setup
- rename 'grab_it_xx.exe' to 'autorun.exe'
- create folder '2577' on your (better empty) Mini-SD card (You need card more then 128 Mb)
- copy 'autorun.exe' to this folder
That's it for the "setup"
Usage
Now every time, when you insert this card into PPC it will grab the ROM image and save it into root of the card as 'dump.bin'.
On my French device this tool asks me the confirmation. Once done, it will beep the default sound. After release card may be error message "Can't create card" - ignore it. Message boxes are only shown in case of error.
IMPORTANT NOTE (thanx MDAIIIuser)
YOU MUST NOT put it back into another device!!!
YOU MUST read the SD with card reader on your desktop PC.
Otherwise, you will rewrite the dump with your own ROM!!!!
This ROM dump file can be then further processed and converted to flashable formats. It is very good for compress.

Conclusion is so simple and so funny at the same time. Before you start, always RTFM
To get process more easy and lazy I have added files I used to change the language:
CEOS.rar english OS (the real one not the fake!)
aWizard_1.2.zip - contain everything what Drahtman described
SpbPocketPlus4_setup.exe

Please THERE IS NO NOTIFICATION of flashing ROM - DO NOT UNPLUG THE ipaq !!
Flashing program shows some numbers when it starts to flash and that's all.. After aprox 18minutes it's done with skip to the main flash menu and on ipaq there is NO SIGN of been flash..
Make HR and that's all ..
French, Deutch and all the others are gone..

Hi all
I have an o2 xda orbit pda and I downloaded from this website the program that allows you to expand the storage card memory for the phone.
Like it said in the readme file I installed SDHC.CAB and I then went to overwrite /windows sdbus.dll and sdmemory.dll.
On going to overwrite the first one it comes up
Cannot copy sdbus:There has been a sharing violation
The source or destination file may be in use.
But It isn't and I can't get it past that point
I then go to overwrite sdmemory.dll but it comes up:
Cannot copy sdmemory: Acess is denied
Make sure your mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read only, and that you have permission to copy this file.
Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong as I have no idea.
