Problem. Can't send files from HP2110 to Wizard via BT. - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I have two devices Wizard(qtek 9100, 1.1.7.9) and HP 2110. Error (сan't connect to ..) happens when I try to send file VIA BT from hp to wizard.
Option "receive all incoming connection" in IR settings enabled.
HP 2110 have WIDCOMM BT stack. All neccesary options have been enabled. File trnsfering works with another PDA device (wm2003, widdcom).
PS: Dial up networking via BT doesn't work too

Hi -'Option "receive all incoming connection" in IR settings enabled.' that for infrared.
In settings\bluetooth make sure bt is on and discoverable and you need to pair devices first in settings\bluetooth\devices.
Should work then If not trash your hp lol

Thanks. But option "discoverable" has enabled. In several forums i have seen that IR option "receive all incoming connection" must be enadled too. I think this is problem in communication beetween 2 different BT stack, because I have problem with dialup connection via BT too.
Has anyone had such problemm?

WIDSTOCK Stack and, Jabra 250, Networkinf

I have installed the Widcomm BT stack on my QTEK 2020 and now I cannot use my Jabra 250 headset. It bonds ok and creates the headset shortcut but once I connect, I keep getting 4 beeps on the headset and the calls are not transferred to it.
Secondly, I can connect to my pcs BT Serial Port and ActiveSync tries connecting before coming up with a message stating that the device cannot be recognised.
Finally, I have tried using the BT Network Access for internet surfing but as soon as I connect the BT network access, my GPRS line connects (???) for some reason.
Thanks for your help. Can't wait for a proper implementation of BT on this device as thats was my main reason for upgrading and have been very disappointed in this department.

Unable to receive file via Bluetooth

I did pair my Atom with HP iPaq2210. I can send file via Bluetooth from Atom to 2210 but I can't receive the file via Bluetooth from 2210 to Atom. It said "The connection to the peer Bluetooth device failed.".
When I paired the devices, "Serial Port" and "Dialup Networking" are the only services available. Is that normal?
Does anyone encounter the same issue?
Start > Setting > Connections > Beam and make sure the box " receive all incoming beams " is tick .
Good luck.
Ticked already.
Interesting thing is I can receive the Contact/Task via Bluetooth from 2210 to Atom. Don't know why it is not working for the other files.

OBEX Transfer via Bluetooth

Hi all !
Anybody were able to transfer files via BT between PC and TyTn ?
I cannot....
Help, please.
i'm no problem to do that....
try to check the beam option ON and make sure that BT in ON and visible...
try with this...
cheers
Bubu
BT doesnt neet to be visible except you didnt pair the device once. So after paring the device you can make the TyTN hidden and you are able to send files trough OBEX. Worked well since i am transfer some files

My laptop and Hermes are both paired and can do ActiveSynch via BT. But when i try from PC explorer "Send To -> Bluetooth" it does not work.
It says "File transfer service is not found on the device.". After i turned on "Receave all beams" it did work fine. I thought that this is for infrared only.
Am i correct here ?
you need to have this activated, otherwise you arent able to receive bt obex files. Its both BT and IR.

InternetSharing over USB AND BT on PPC activated

Hi Everybody!
Looking around for a soulution to BT PAN with Toshiba BT Stack on my Dell I played a while with the USB connection.
I'm using TomTom with BT GPS quite often the same time I'm online, so I tried to disable BT on PPC, Internet Sharing with USB, IP assigned, online - then reactivated BT and it works great both together - even phone calls meanwhile connected via UMTS to the internet.
So, using the build in function in WinXP and set up alternative options for your IP/DNS/etc works even (takes 3 - 5 seconds more to obtain IP) fine.
So no need any more to deactivate BT on the PCC before using internet.

Alex

using Vista to recive phone calls from another bluetooth enabled handset?

Hi all, has anyone managed to get the device working to recive calls over bluetooth on the vista side from a WM based handset?
I know with the bluetooth stack for XP you get an option when pairing your device (on PDA) to select audio gateway, have not got that with default vista drivers.
Have installed Toshiba's BT stack and that gave me audio straming fo rmusic, but no audio gateway for voice calls. Have tried a brodcomm and that does have an option on the vista bluetooth settings side for audio gateway, but when you select it it says parametere failed. On the PDA you only have active sync as selctable service.
Has anyone used voice over bluetooth with the shift from any PDA transfering voice to handheld..?
whats it like? does it mute any audio thats being played?
thanks
