Ok , see my problem
I ve unlock my Wizard(orange) ,works fine... (htc wizard)
Ive play with registry key (stupid things), and later when I ve done a soft reset Itl display the bootloader some version of radio .... but nothing more .... the screen stay like this.
So I ve try hardware reset , and it display band of color(like rainbow) with isd & ils version . I dont have any other confirmation (stay like this till Ive done softreset)
So anyone have idea to boot my qtek, thanks for you help

Now is back again to normal mode

After applying some "hacks" to the registry as mentioned in another Topic, my XDA NEO with latest Dopod Rom does not Boot anymore...
I Get the Dopod Splash Screen, and after this a white screen - thats it...
Is there a possibilty to get a working USB Connection or to do a Hardreset ?
I mean i just edited somethings in the Registry, chich means it MUST wake up again.
Please help me, i realyy need that Prophet !

Same problem here.. with an Orange SPV M600 flashed with latest Dopod rom. I guess it's regsitry tweaks (I was trying to set harder the volume)
Hard reset should still work and would fix your problem
Hi to all!
I`m new in this forum and ba world.
Last week purchased spv m2000 with wm2003se and simlock. After reading wiki I unlocked SIM, unhided an unlocked EXTRom , resized DOC and upgraded to latest radio rom and wm6 (thx Helmi for great job).
I did also some set up things in wm6, for example password (something like - "if device is unsed for 30 min. you must insert password") same as my PIN.
My battery after whole day of exploring new features and programs became week (10% - you may loss your data..., etc) and I decided to push power button and replace with another one. But I forget that other one is also week (5%). After soft reset and booting wm6 asked me for a password to unlock system - and I was surprised coz wm6 told that password is incorrect - apparently lost all my settings.
Hard reset and boot options helped with sweeping whole system. So I must now install again all programs and patches.
I don`t know if this is normal wm6 behaviour (I`ve read wm6 is data lost proof - this feater was major cause of upgradind) or I did something wrong with switching batteries.

I do confirm this problem.
If unlock password was set,after you changed the battery,in the first boot the phone would be No radio,so you should reset it again.Then the problem came,all the password you typed was incorrect,you could not get into the desktop.
Even after you hv hard reset your phone.You will also need to clean the registry,that is incredible.
Can any one figure out it?

I have just the same problem that with my PDA2k. I upgraded to WM6 and put in a Phone Password. When I came to reboot the device and enter the password, it was not recognizing it ( tried to hard reset etc but still got stuck on the Password screen no matter what I do?
Any help on this pls pls?????

Hello, I just got the same trouble on WM6 Trinity P3600 (AXL ROM from 2007-08-30). So possibly this is common DOPOD ROM bug?
Also have the same problem with XDA IIs. Tried to reload the new ROM but the enter password is still there. Any other solution?

this is called hard reset it wipes all of your installed software and settings. it is like freshly installed windows
Dear Xplode , what on earth is the reason behind the blocked password and reseted clock if u remove the battery ? ( backup batter working ). Another question , any idea if i can use a 3rd party application replacement for the Lock application ?

One easy tip
Before you replace the battery, turn off security lock on device. Works for me and is not too.... much hassle.

Try to bootup without the SD card (and may be SIM), I had this problem with my Vox, the SD Card was corrupted. After formatting the SD Card, everythig became normal.

the pda at the first time has booted and i have configured the regional time and the pen alignment until the the screen that says Setup complete, click to proceed (or something like this).
After this, it gets stuck on the windows mobile 6.1 boot screen
i have made the re-update with the same rom update.
the problem persists!
I have made with/without sd card and sim.
Now when it boots apears
ONBL 1.07.0000
SPL 1010.olip
GSM 02.84.90
OS 1.17.0.0
then changes for the wm6.1 boot screen
and stucks here

hi
assuming ur phone is just dead ie just blank screen do this
1.power off the phone remove batter and press the power button 3 secs
2.put batter back in to the phone
3.Press camera button and then power on at the same time u will get tricolor
used usb and Flash new ROM
or press camera button and do soft reset using stylus this will also give u the tricolor use USB and flash new ROM

OS 1.17.0.0
Then it shows the windows animations and then it hangs.
This has happned to me twice.
I had installed following applications after the ROM upgrade. Does any application creating a problem
1) HTC Home (6 tab plugin)
2) S2U2,S2P,S2V
3) Quick Menu
4) Opera Mini
5) TCPMP with many codecs

I had tried that also but not able to recover I had to burn the ROM again .
I am scared now to soft reset my gene. Never know when it will get hanged again. (pls note that it does not hang on every soft reset).
I liked the new ROM (6.1 pro Sumeet) so much. It is fast and have left enough room to add/execute other applications. I have read so many good comments about the ROM. I do not want to change it to any other version.
Please.. please try to get some solution.

I have a HTC ELF 0100 i want to change the language to english but i cant make anything. I try to hard reset the phone but this also is impossible. there is Windows mobile 6.1 installed in it.
Things you might need to know:
I HOLD the green and red Button and click on reset - for hard reset but nothing happens
To update an english rom i need to CID unlock. but this also fails saying ERROR 260.
And when try to upload a COOK rom it says ERROR 260 and the HTC screen become black i.e standy mode. it does not goes to the BOOTLOADER mode!
Where is the PROBLEM please help urgent !!
im sorry to tell u, but probably u dont have and elf. its a clone.
search the forum for clone info.
But i can assure you it an original one. Not clone or china made. But one things is that the battery is not an original one.
But i can assure you that the mobile is original. Not a China made.

Hi man thx for the REPLY but this also i tried !! it does not shows anything !! Only giving Data UNKONw or something like that!
I was able to install ENABLERAPI.cab to make the above PROGRAM work.
i want to know why the ElF is not able to HARD RESET.... I HOLD the TWO BUTTONS [red&green] and PRESS RESET but it never enter the HARD reset..
Very Strange and time comsuming for me i need a REAL solution !!

Big chance your phone is a fake.. I'm sorry man..
Perhaps if you posted some pictures of your device (also the backside without the cover, and one without the battery) some might be able to help you figure out what's going on.

Hey guys ! I just have a big problem ... i have so many Hard-reseted my device that the Volume Down Button don't work anymore ...
I Flashed Blackstonehenge 4.4 (like always ^^), It worked fine, like always but this time 1 week after my htc is stuck at the boot screen i can't even get a way to boot it, i can't make a hard reset or even enter in Bootloader mode -_-

Have you tried to dismantle the back-case? If you actually damaged the button inside the phone, I guess the only way is change the damaged part...
