Hey guys ! I just have a big problem ... i have so many Hard-reseted my device that the Volume Down Button don't work anymore ...
I Flashed Blackstonehenge 4.4 (like always ^^), It worked fine, like always but this time 1 week after my htc is stuck at the boot screen i can't even get a way to boot it, i can't make a hard reset or even enter in Bootloader mode -_-
Please i really need your help

Nobody really know a way to do the trick ?
Have you tried to dismantle the back-case? If you actually damaged the button inside the phone, I guess the only way is change the damaged part...

Hello , I have this strange problem with my HD2. Whenever I hold down the shut down button and when the menu for choosing between Power off ; lock device etc. appears , when I select POWER OFF the phone doesn`t really POWER OFF it just restarts. I can`t get my phone to completely shut down without taking the battery off. And when I put the battery the phone automaticly starts without having to long press the shut down button.
Someone have that problem too ?
I`m using 1.48.479.1 ROM ... I don`t remember having this problem before, but I really haven`t switched off my phone completely, so I really don`t remember.
Please help !

I just tried it on mine, and I can shut down with no problem.
To be honest, that sounds like a hardware issue, rather than a software issue. (The fact that a hard reset didn't change it makes me think that!)
Try to reflash 1.48 or flash the device to an older ROM (such as 1.43) and see what happens.

Good advice - particularly the 1.43 suggestion.
Tested it on ALL ROMs .... 1.43 ; 1.49 ; 1.61 TUR.
Same in all 3 ROMs ... the strangest thing it that when I shut it down for the first time , let`s say after Software update it powers off as normal. But after that I can`t get it powered off no mather what I do.
How can that be a HARDWARE ISSUE ?

At least if someone knows if there is a registry for the power options in HD2, so I can change something and try if it will work ?

Perhaps you should call up HTC and invoke your warranty.

Hi i have a TP2 and i installed an app called truecaller (Beta version) now it says its over and i have a screen that tells me its over and to go to website to buy/get newer version ......i cant get rid of that screen and my phone isnt working i have tried a hard reset but nothing it wont connect to my pc ...its locked up i neeed help !!!!!
If you get into the bootloader screen(hold power and down key while restting) you can flash your rom from there. since you allready did a hard reset that wont be much of a leap for you i wouldnt think.
i dont have a down key...if i do a hard reset and start phone with no sim its fine as soon as i add sim and restart i get that damn screen
You said that you installed that program yourself. Then you didn't hard reset. Otherwise the program would be gone. Press the call button + end button + power on. That is the way to hard reset.
i have hard reset about 10 times now ............im gonna try to flash a diff rom and see what happens but im so confused as to what this is all about
Did you already try to contact the maker of the program? Maybe they know of the issue, and also have a solution.

Really strange if you cant get rid of that screen after a hardreset(sounds impossible)
I have to ask you, have you mixed up hard reset with soft reset, dont mean to offend you but I have heard it happened for some...
im not offended ...yeah i did hard resets (hold power ,call and end key ) still couldnt get rid of it i flashed back to a prev energy rom and all is ok .......i just want my sense 2.5 back ....lol thank for all ya input

hi
if u can get ur tricolor screen then try this
connect the usb cable to pc and see if u get the USB words on the phone tricolor screen if so good try flashing any official ROM the same happened to my phone long back did the above got my phone back asuming u have done HSPL for ur phone if u have not done that then the only way is to take it to service

Wrong forum.. Touch P3450 is not a touch 3g , its the original touch (ELF version)
but i will try and help as i have owned both.
if your hardware buttons are not working it could be possible that your send and end keys are stuck down as this key combo brings up the hard reset you are talking about.
think you are going to have to open it as it sounds like a hardware fault, and if you cannot get into bootloader you cannot flash
if it was working alright before this is not the case, but either way you will have to fix your camera button and get into bootloader

I have problems with my HTC hd2 phone, i made him to lock (with password) for every min if its unused, but when i want to unlock ( to enter passcode for its unlocking) it just wont work, i mean like my phone is not reacting on my passcode, so i dont know what to do because im not expirienced with phones that much .... im useing windows on btw, pls help me thx

i know wen that happened to me i had to hard reset the phone to erase the password, hard resest: hold both volume buttons + end while the phone it off then press the up volume button once the screen load.
yeah, i did it too .... but, u know, i thought that someone else knows other way... thx anyway ... i will never make my phone to lock with passcode
Please help, i installed stock WPH 6.5 on my HD2 and it worked fine suddenly i tried to unlock it and the slider freezed i turned it off.... Now i cant turn it on, hard reset , soft reset , cant enter bootloader obiviosly nothing.When im trying to turn it on it just softly vibrates,very,very softly u cant even feel that.Please help i tried to put it in fridge i tried everything i found but it cant boot. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN !!!

I tried everything buy nothing
It sounds like your device had sudden hardware failed. You will probably have to either replace the mainboard or JTAG the device. My money would be on replacing the mainboard as it did boot after you flashed Windows Mobile 6.5 so it being software bricked were you can use JTAG to fix is unlikely.
