PHM Regedit will not install with Active sync 3.7
Evidently you have to use the Cab File!
Anyone know which Cab File, there are 11 of them?

I don't undestand how to install PHM Registri Editor.
When i launch the setup proces it open the instal application interface of ActiveSync, but it doesn't install anithing on mi XDA II!?!
Please, someone can help me to install it?

Resco Registry from Resco Explorer, last version 5.13, but actually i still like PHM.
I can't even get PHM Regedit to install on my Qtek S100. Looks ok when I run the installer, but nothing is ever actually installed.
As it is still my favourite I have tried a number of times, with hardresets between, but no success.
I believe PHM registry editor is what we called here a "green" software, i.e. you can just copy and paste the exe file anywhere you like and execute it and it will work. So if you have exe file (e.g. from a former installation, a backup or another ppc), you don't need to install it.
Tried again by getting the CAB file instead of the desktop installer. Worked like a charm!

nowhere in particular : a .cab file ca normally be executed from anywhere...
Are you using cabinstall ? Because sometimes it conflicts with some .cab files. It doesn't work for instance with the icon .cab file of Agenda Fusion : when you click on this cab file, nothing happens... but it's the only .cab file that doesn't work for me...

Just copy the cab file to anywhere on your device. Then on the device, open up explorer and browse to the location of the cab. Double clicking on the cab will install it.

After this you don't need the cab on your device anymore so if it has not been automatically removed you can just delete it.
If it has not been automatically removed it means :
- that you're using CabInstall (because miscrosoft standard installer deletes tha .cab file once installed !)
- or that nothing has been installed because of an error

Tried it when I couldn't get PHM Regedit to install but didn't like it. With TRE you can't even search through the registry, right?

Somehow when I uninstalled a program it deleted my inbox/messaging registry setting for the today screen?. Can someone browse to hkeylocalmachine/software/microsoft/today/items and give me all the details for "Messaging" or is it "Inbox" with all the reg keys for it.

PHM Reg EDIT sometimes does not gfet installed if you download the msi file and install the same using active sync. In Active Sync, it points to the file as already installed but you will not find it under programs
Instead download the CAB file and install using cabInstal. You can find the CAB file also in the same place as when you found the msi file in Phillippe's web site

Hi all,
I tried to install PHMregedit and other PHM programs (power toys, tray launch, ...) but installation failed!
Every time same story with all phm programs, active sync dont wanna install program and i got the screen like im allready installed that program (but i have no phm software on jasjar)!

i tried to find .cab install files, but no result.... any idea for this problem?? I really need tray launch, maybe someone knows other traylaunch similar to phm!?

try it, u will probably like it! the best thing for me is traylaunch, u can add anything to tray next to default batt,ldscape and comm icons, very, very usefull!

I tried it but, I can't seem to figure out how to assign it to launch something. Can you give me an example.
settings/system/admin tools - select traylaunch!
-enable traylaunch (tick)
-Add
...and now u got to type target, for example write:
/Windows/Fexplore.exe
and u'll got explorer's icon in tray, on that way u can add anything! if u dont know location of program find it first with explorer, the most of wm5 programs r in windows directory!!

If you have any probs try installing S2U2 (not pro) And next time post what phone/rom your using Just drag the .cab file on to your device and install, prob best if you install to device memory

how? i dont get anything to install it, all i get is "there is no application associated with s2u2-0.96wm5" run the application firs then open this file from within the application, wich application? oh and well i have a titan rom? well everything is factory.

Ok, you have downloaded the rar-file.
extract it with winrar and you get 3 files:
the cab file for installation and 2 txt files.
copy the cab file to your device and run it ...
had it been!

1. copy resco to SD card and install
2. Go to home sreen,you finding Resco Regestry,resco file explorer
3. open Resco explorer,tap menu-options-registration
4. registration number use keygen
5. open keygen(PPCWCalc) in your PC,aplication = Resco explorer 2010,Device name = open about on your hp,generete...
6. finished and you can use resco registry
