How To Install Intel Edison Driver Since Install Sequnce Is Not Working For Install It? - Intel

I recently found an Intel Edison Module, and I stuck on it's driver
Install wizard says install is complete but log says not: .inf install sequnce returned 1
I tried it in PWSH and CMD, but...
Code:
.\drvinstall.exe i .\intc_usbcomp.inf
INFO: Input file "C:\Users\skyca\Downloads\inteledisondriversetup1.2.1\intc_usbcomp.inf"
TEST: preinstalling driver package.
DriverPackagePreinstall Failed with error code 0xE0000247
Does anyone knows How to solve this such as some inf installer?

ActiveSync doesn't see my MDA Pro! :(

Hi!
I have a problem... the ActiveSync 4.1 install program says that I need to have the latest service pack installed, but I don't have it... Is there a way to somehow install it without having SP2?
EDIT: This problem is already solved, but I have another one... look at my next post here
I've run AS 4.1 on XP SP1 with no problems. Currently running AS 4.2 beta on XP SP1 again with no issues.
I just ran the install, it did'nt report anything back.
I suggest you update XP with the custom option.
ok, I installed ActiveSync 4.2 by using the Windows 2000 compatibility mode
But now I have another problem It doesn't see my MDA Pro... when I connect my MDA, it's recognized as a Windows Mobile device, but it asks me for some drivers which I don't have. So I don't install any drivers, and AS doesn't see it....
EDIT:
I tried uninstalling AS, and installing AS 4.1, and it still doesn't work. It asks me for a driver, and when I tell him to install it automatically, here's what it says (I have a Polish version of Windows, but I'll try to translate the error message to English):
Can't install hardware
An error occurred when installing this hardware:
Windows Mobile-based Device
An error occurred when installing this device.
There's no required entry in the driver installation file. The reason can be that the INF file was written for Windows 95 or newer system. Contact your hardware vendor.

"windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device.
windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it
this operation returned because the timeout period expired."

Can't Install USB Drivers

I can't install the USB System Drivers for my ViewPad. I'm running Windows 8 RTM and when I try to install the USB drivers, I get this error: The INF-file from Third-Party does not contain any information about digital signature. If you know the name of the device's producer, you can go to the producer's website and look after driver software in the support (The message may not be completly correct, because I needed to translate it from Norwegian) Does anybody have any sugestions?
Unsigned drivers seems to be a major recurring issue with Win 8. There are some workarounds, but none guaranteed to work it seems. Try googling 'unsigned driver install in Windows 8'

Q. Driver instillation Rockchip

*I'll abbreviate device manager as dm
I've got a Cx921 box (RK3188) upon plugging box into computer it shows as NEO X7 (as i stated its a cx921 not X7) along with driver instillation failed in dm, i then uninstall the drivers and replug the device into computer bit shows unknown device in dm i then proceed to update drivers by selecting browse for drivers and pointing to the specific folder within the rockusb folder but this message shows up
so i try the "driver install client" from rockchip and it finishes, but when device is plugged in again it shows with driver instillation failed
Any help...
tried this

Yotaphone 2 drivers

Hi, where can I find the correct drivers for Yotaphone 2? I tried the driver that comes with the flasher tool, but somehow it does not install (yes, I right-clicked on the INF file and selected Install, but nothing happened after that)
Thanks in advance for the help!
Right clicking the INF file and selecting install most of the time doesn't yield any results on screen. It is a silent install. You can check if they are installed by comparing the size of the installed androidusb.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers with the size in the AMD64 and i386 folders in the yotaflasher folder. It is either 31kb (AMD64) or 26kb (i386).
Drivers
Thanks for the reply.
I checked the system folder on my PC, and the drivers were not installed. Somehow clicking on "Install" for the INF file does nothing
Is there some other way to install the drivers? Can I simply copy the driver files to the system folder
Drivers
Hi, does anyone have a suggestion to install the drivers? I am on Windows 10

You can try installing the default Google drivers. You can find everything you need in this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
You use device manager to install " legacy drivers" and "have disk" , it is mentioned several times here including the one above.
Drivers
Hi, I really appreciate the replies and patience with this
I already tried that but I get the message:
The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the device contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems
What do I need to do?
These worked for me:

Thanks, sonof.
I tried the installer from the link you gave.
Somehow it is not showing any detected device at all.
How do I get it to detect my phone in order to install the driver?
Did you solve it? I have the same problem, can't see the device...
