Android 10 Ossuret GPS Radio With AC8227L - Android Head-Units

Dear sirs,
I bought an android GPS Radio for Rneault/Dacia Sandero on Aliexpress
But I have problems with this radio :
1/ Radio recognize only One of the 3 USB outputs : the 4 pins USB. The 6 pins USB is not recognzed
2/ system emulates an USB Key vith 48 Go. If I connect an USB cable on 6 pins USB, this emulated USB key disappears
3/ There are many troubles with RDS Radio function : radios are found with AF/TA signal, but sometimes the radio doesn't accept AF signal and jump to another radio station or freezes.
System has 2 Go Internal memory and 64 Go stockage memory, and processor is a four-core processor.
I would find another firmware.
The actually firmware is : ZXDZ_2+64 AC8227L_2022.04.25.16
I want know if existing another firmware, totally wrote in French or in English (because actuallt some menus are in Danish, Finnish or Norvegian, I don't really know, but I don't understand)
Please could you help me.
If there is no newer ou compatible firmware, is it possible to modify software RDS function and USB ? (And If we could have only one enormous 64 Go disk...
Many Thanks
(Sorry for ma bad english, I'm French and I speak English just a little)

Post Android system information including MCU version

serial cable schematics ????

hi pplz,
i m looking for the schematics for com cable,it is not avalible in my country and getting it from abroad is much expensive,i guess there mus be some tehnical minded guys in this forum.
waitng for some hints, plz.
http://xda-developers.com/connectors
hi thanks for reply,
i have made a cable same as discribed in the page ''connectors'' but it is not working, i have checked pin outs many times [i thinks there is no ic max 232,often used in rs 232 cables]simply 9 pin connector.
my ppc locked to [t-mobile] shows ''WALLABY Boot Loader v5. 15 in boot mod with three coloured stripes. i m using manipulator v1.11.
rom version:3.08.10 eng
radio version: 6.02
protocol version:324e4
what is wrong and where???
help plz.
you don't need a max232 for the xda.
if you use a terminal program ( like hyperterm, or securecrt) to connect
to your serial port, then connect your xda, boot in bootloader mode.
you should see messages and a prompt from the bootloader.
recheck the pins, did you number the d9 pins in the right way? did you
number the xda pins in the right way?
connect something else serial to the comport on your pc, does it work?
i have checked all , ok .on pda ,in diagnostics mod ,i have checked ''serial'' and it displays''processing internal loop ok,plug the line press action ,,,,,,rts-cts err
how this error will be repaired???
I think the serial test expects a loopback plug.
so if you create a plug with these connected:
- rts and cts
- dtr, dsr and dcd
- txd and rxd
your test may succeed.
( this is what I expect, I don't know if that really is the case )
@Itsme
problem solved ,
it was the connector,i use a samsug's 18 pin connector, splited right side to fit ,and the rx and the cts pins were not in contact with xda connecter.
i opend xda ,and check the continuty with multi meter on m. board, and found this and also wrong coections were made to 9 pin connector.
finaly i unlocked my t-mobile
thanks to u,
thanks to forums members, who shares their knowledge,
with best regards
pervaiz.

[Q] HD2 LEO T8585 Clone - bootloader corrupted

I flash this phone with a wrong image, and now only a black screen appear.
Is impossible to make any key combination to get to the "download screen" ?
If I try to connect it via ActiveSync, fail, nor with K3firstAid. The only thing I recognize is the Huawei PC COM port. Appears only slightly illuminating the display, and nothing more.
I pray all the masters of this kind of cell phone to tell me that there is salvation, and if so, let me explain the process the "resurrection". (excuse the Google translation)
Thanks in advance
If it's not a true HTC phone then there is nothing that can be done for it here.
No, not a real HTC, a Chinese copy of it. I've seen on this forum that many people have problems with these phones, so I thought that there is someone who will help me.

My guess is that your fake HD2 uses a different bootloader than the real one. Most issues with the HD2 can be undone, so long as the bootloader is intact. Screw up the bootloader and your phone is done for. Also these ROMS are built for the HD2's hardware and drivers. Your phone may look like somewhat like an HD2, but the similarities stop there. Should have bought a real HD2.
Why you want to flash a fake HD2 with a genuine HD2 ROM in the first place is beyond me.......

I have not upgraded to the real HTC firmware, but with the wrong Chinese ROM, I accidentally made a flash from the model T5353, which does not comply, we reported the error at the 80% upgrade, is that I damaged the boot and communicate with the PC. Now I found the original ROM, all the tools we need to upgrade properly, but we need help to restore the PC communication, how to ActiveSync or any similar applications to recognize? Here are its hardware, you might be helpful:
· Operating system: Windows Mobile 6.5
· CPU: 520MHz Hisilicon-K3
· RAM: 256M, ROM: 256M, extend to 16GB max
· 4.3 inch touch screen, WVGA PX: 480 * 800

You technically don't have an HD2, as the hardware in your phone is COMPLETELY different.
So if you're looking for a definitive answer here, you probably won't get one, as there's very little relation between your phone and the real HD2.
Your pretty much screwed. Only option is to jtag, or move on.
Hello,
Recently I made a wrong flash ROM, and then I managed to turn on the mobile. I'm desperate and I hope you can help. After I returned from service, he could not do anything, I tried something at home. Basically, when I connect to the PC via USB, recognize it as a "new device", then install the IDT, then my PC recognizes it as "Huawei USB COM 1.0, COM port 7. The problem is that it constantly resets, and so at times he appears in the "Device Manager" and loses again. When he somehow managed to stabilize the relationship with the PC, you probably could I make a flash ROM via IDT. The IDT recognizes it, even after it lost 3 seconds. Obviously not a hardware problem.
Thank you so much in advance

only hold green and red button(answer and disconnec button) and switch on the phone .the phone will restore factory setting without any bin or flash file .
Just buy another clone, OP. I dont think there's enough resource available (other than some xda china portal) to fix an HD2 knock off simply because they dont have the same hardware & software as official HTC ones.

OBDLink LX OBD adapter pairing problem on KCcartech BX411 Android 6.0 2017

Hello from France,
I just bought a KC BX-411 Android 6.0 head unit on aliexpress, I found the manufacturer with the name , it is a KC Cartech product www_kccartech_com/eacp_view.asp?id=226 , I’m very happy with it except that I can not pair my OBDLink LX OBD adapter.
No problem with bluetooth to connect a phone and it works, the only problem is for the obd adapter, only one chinese model of a friend is working and it have to be named "OBDII" and have MAC Address (identity card) : AA:BB:CC:11:22:33 , it is the generic chinese typical OBD but the problem is that mine has a different name and obviously another MAC Address and the car radio can't pair it (see video) , It seems that the firmware of the car radio is locked to use only a generic chinese "OBDII" with MAC Address : AA:BB:CC:11:22:33. It has been confirmed by a friend who have a android car radio too with same problem and had to replace the original firmware by a sda developer firmware update to solve the problem.
Do you have a firmware update to upload in the car radio to replace mine to be able to connect any OBD adapter ?

Same problem as well...
Were you able to find ny solution to this?
No
From OBDLink support Forums:
You can try renaming your OBDLink with the command STBTDN.
Once connected, you can issue the command "STBTDN OBD". You will then have to power cycle the unit. Once it powers up the device should now broadcast as "OBD".
You can also try changing the Class of Device with the command STBTCOD.
Once connected, you can issue the command "STBTCOD 200400". You will then have to power cycle the unit.
Hi,
Do you have a link to that or to instructions on how to send the command to the OBDLink LX?
Thanks.

I have the same issue, I found that the issue is with the Bluetooth Module (Chip) itself.
You need to check the Bluetooth Module# manually. If you have bluetooth module RDA 5850SM then you need to go through this process CLICK HERE (Credits @****-jones )

I know this is old but I just got my OBDLink mx to work with the android head unit
You need to change the class of device to 001f00.
You can follow this instructions here. I had to use my laptop to make the changes with obdwiz and then power cycle the OBDLink mx.

Joying JY-UO135N4G - SC9853i - MCU problem, problem with boot up

Hello!
I am having trouble updating my MCU. I've been randomly losing this driver for a while now. After starting the car, the radio has a problem with starting (android works fine, no sound from the radio) when the MCU starts, the version is unknown. After 5 minutes, the device resets, sometimes the MCU will load and everything works until the car is turned off again.
During the update (SD Card FAT32, empty only with the original files from the joying blog - Trying few others), the information that SDCARD cannot be mounted
It goes to the line where the STM32UD was updated correctly, then the line with the description: "2019.09.07 10:40:57 JY_53_C63L_H32P48F64_Ver: 1.0" - the device is locked here, nothing happens - after 5 minutes, restart the device and loop.
How the device works properly MCU Version is:
2019.09.07 10:40:57 JY_53_C63L_H32P48F64_Ver: 1.0
Any factory reset not working.
CPU Info:
Intel X86_Octa-Coire 1.8Ghz [email protected] + 32 GB
Android 8.1
What should I do, what file should I use? Radio is:
Joying JY-UO135N4G
I don't speak perfect English, I use a translator. For thorough help, sending any files, I am able to use a grant. I am asking for help in solving the problem.
I am asking for information which data is still needed to solve the problem. The device is rotated.
After struggling to start the device, I did not have an MCU, I used Joying Extra Tool and the option -Rebot Option - Soft Reboot (Gui only, sufficient for all apk replacements)
After starting the car, the panel LEDs light up for 2 seconds and then they turn off, the device usually starts after a few minutes, the vehicle's logo is displayed with a countdown from 5 to 0, the device stops on the number 0. I have to hold power off and manually reset the device, then Andorid is charging correctly.
Twice after using it, the device started working properly. The MCU showed up in the settings.

FF-5000/8227L - Poor FM reception and unable to update firmware (says "detected fail, please check usb and files...)

I recently purchased one of those Chinese Android head unit to replace the stock Honda factory stereo (6-disc CD) in my 2008 Honda CR-V. This unit was sold on Amazon and the seller actually included the necessary bracket/frame to replace the original factory stereo. It was marketed as "Android 10 Car Radio for Honda CRV 2007-2011, 9 Inch Touch Screen 2G RAM 32G ROM Stereo Bluetooth WiFi GPS FM Support Mirror Link with Dual USB."
From what I could extract from the various screens, my HU is:
FF-5000 (Alps) as reported by Google
HMI: JC.D.Q.F.3.01.2021.05.21.08.30
MCU: TS907.190518(H)
Build number:
full_8227L_demo-userdebug 10 011019 1571038753 userdebug
Custom build version:
alps-mp-01.mp5
Kernel version
3.18.79 (gcc version 6.3.1 20170404 (Linaro GCC 6.3-2017.05))
The actual installation went fine with a reverse camera (I had "professional help") but I ran into three issues with the operational aspects of the HU.
Issue #1: I had logged into my Google account to access the Play Store, and it required me to enter a 4 digit PIN. This led to the PIN being stuck on the HU even when I had removed my Google Play account and each time the HU reboots or when I start the car, it prompts me to enter the PIN. A search here on XDA yielded some posts about installing a third-party app to remove the PIN settings which were hidden (see https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/remove-lock-screen-from-android-head-unit.3929076/post-85394787) but I couldn't find the aforementioned app and in the end, I was able to resolve the PIN enabled lock screen by doing a full factory reset/recovery. This was done by tapping the screen with FIVE fingers while the HU was booting up and having it to to "ROM recovery mode."
Issue #2: My unit seems to have really bad FM radio reception; it doesn't seem to pull in any stations at all. The seller had me try changing the "IC Type" in the hidden settings but none worked. Did anyone had any issues with the poor radio reception and what did you had to do resolve it? Replace the unit with a new one? Buy an amplifier? The cables to the FM antenna are connected.
Issue #3: Because of the PIN and poor FM radio reception issue, the seller recommended that I update the firmware and he sent me the firmware (only took several attempts). The filename was "8227L_8众越创UI军灿-国外10_v20_20210521.zip" and there were two files in the zip: 8227L-8.bin and 8227L-8.upd. The seller kept saying to copy it to a SD card and install but the head unit has NO SD card slot. There is a USB cable (two, actually) provided and trying multiple SD card readers and adapters and even USB flash drives and formatting them as exFAT, FAT, FAT32 or even NTFS doesn't seem to work. When I plug in the SD card or USB flash drive and tap the screen while it's booting up, the message on the screen says:
detected
Fail, please check usb and files...
So what does this actually mean? Does it imply that it found a USB flash drive/SD card but can't read it? This part is the most frustrating aspect trying to figure out why I can't get the damn firmware updated because it doesn't seem to recognize the USB SD/flash drive connection. Do I even need to update the firmware in the first place, with what I currently have or is mine outdated?
One disadvantage of doing the full factory reset/ROM recovery: I lost the "IGO Navigation" app, sample music and video files and not sure what else that came with the unit. Oh well.
Appreciate any help!
Thanks!
Hi there, I'm stuck in the exactly same situation! Let's see if someone can help us.
I had this problem months ago (could not remove Google PIN prompt, did a factory reset, lost iGO navigation). I asked the seller to send me the iGO pack to install it again, but he keeps sending me a newer iGO version that won't launch on my current system. So I thought about updating firmware. The seller sent me the 8227L_最新(一体机用).zip file to update firmware, and I put the two files in the root of a working USB FAT32 pendrive. But when the updating process starts, I get the "please check usb and files message". So yeah, same here.
Hi to all ! I managed to solve my problems with 8227L ALPS 5500 device with new software and with XTRONS branded one. I have a whole post about it:

In my case the problem was that I was using a Mac to format the pendrive and copy the files. When I changed to a Windows PC, formatted and copied the files, the problem was gone. Cheers
I tried, still the same problem.

Thanks!

I have the same device. Did you manage to flash the device? Could you please give a valid link to the firmware file?
