After flashing global rom network is locked and can't deactivate dsds - Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium Questions & Answers

Basically I flashed a global firmware H8166 DUAL for it and now I realize it's actually a single sim so initially problem was that Sim card had NO SERVICE I tried it on different phones they work perfectly so I assume problem is either that network is locked or hopefully just because I flashed dual sim firmware instead of single one is causing all this?
I tried turning DSDS off but it switches back on its own
WILL FLASHING SINGLE SIM FIRMWARE FIX THE ISSUE?

Just flash the single sim version then & remember to delete simlock.ta from the flashing pack.

No sim card detected after unlock bootloader

Hi after unlock bootloader via toolbox i got no sim card detected even after restore factory rom
What could be the reason for that? also its look like i flashed dual SIM ROM on single sim UK version device and its looks working ok
have you find a solution?
No sim card mostly results from flashing the wrong region firmware.

Moto X Force - UK Edition - Dual Sim

I have been trying for the last few hours to get my UK Moto X Force to accept a dual sim configuration to no avail. I have listed the different methods I have tried below hoping that someone can identify a solution.
1st Method:
Rooted my phone and used the instructions for the Moto X Play variant to enable dual sim functionality as listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/help/enabling-dual-sim-single-sim-devices-t3225546
I followed this method through by adding the several lines of code to a local.prop file and rebooted. The phone now had access to the Dual Sim settings and identified my 1st SIM within the phone but not the 2nd. Where it said 2nd SIM 'No Sim Inserted'. I tried with multiple SIM cards and the same error popped up, there were no issues with the sim card touching the connector plates for the 2nd sim as they had scratched the card, a visible connection had been made.
2nd Method:
I installed a Mexican Dual Sim variant of the OS and inserted both cards. Bluetooth, WiFi and Mobile connection were not working however the Dual sim menu was available. I then flashed the UK modem onto the phone which fixed the WiFi and Bluetooth not working as well as the mobile connection. However once again only one of the sims worked and slot 2 was labelled as being empty.
Any suggestions on what to try next would be appreciated to get the dual sim functionality, functional!
Thanks
I think that UK edition doesn't really have hardware required for dual SIM. Tray is just generic for all Force variant.
Actually both of your attempts proved that. I would like to be wrong in this case
Any ideas?

Need to try. The files in the fsg folder are different. I did not succeed, but it should work, if someone seriously takes up this issue.
Has anyone got the modem files to flash?
I've mistakenly flashed the Brazilian rom on mime and lost wifi

SIM 1 Slot is not Detecting

Previously i have rooted my mobile and it was working fine. I tried to install new software update, So i flashed the stock firmware i lost my wifi and network connectivity (both sim cards were not detecting). I flashed again stock firmware which was suggested by some senior member in XDA. After flashing that firmware i got my wifi and mobile network but my SIM 1 SLOT is not detecting. Tried to wipe data and flashed another stock firmware still the same issue occurs. I tried swapping sim cards but it is not detecting in SIM 1 slot which is detecting in SIM 2 slot.
Found that IMEI is there.
Is this software issue or hardware issue?
Please give any solution.

Same problem, had relocked the bootloader and went to service center.Told them network not working after update. They tried first by flashing stock rom. Then concluded motherboard will have to be changed(free of cost).

SM-G935FD (Unlocked) shows invalid SIM card (network locked)

After flashing some roms and custom kernels my S7 edge which was unlocked couldn't identify my SIM card. It detects it but it doesn't show the service provider name and there's a notification which asks me about an unlock code. It's the first time I've come across a problem like this where an SIM unlocked phone seems to have turned into a locked one. I've already done factory resets, flashing the latest bootloader and modem, switching to another SIM card (same result) but nothing works. Is it one of the files being modified or related to hardware?
Currently I'm using Phoenix ROM v3.0 and VoLTaqe 4.2 kernel (best one i have). Also, other roms i flashed also had the same issue.
same here. Eve figure it out?
Was it originally unlocked or was it unlocked with a pin? Some pin unlocks are dubious and only last until updated/flashed.

CSC Change - SIM Lock

Hey Guys,
Maybe you can help with this. I wanted to update my GS8 SM-G950FD to the latest version. Upon wiping the phone, I flashed the most current software, and then used the latest CSC changer to edit my CSC to TMB like it was on the previous build so that I can enjoy Wi-Fi Calling and VoLTE.
However, it seems during this process once it had completed, my phone is now showing a Not Supported SIM/Invalid SIM stating that I need to use the T-Mobile App to unlock the phone. This was a fully unlocked G950FD from the get go and I can't figure for the life of me how to remove the SIM lock that's apparently now on the phone. I've tried using at least 10 different carrier SIMS, including T-Mobile and none work.
Any help would be appreciated.
You should try to flash back to a G-950F CSC - the images are not compatible between the Snapdragon and Exynos phones.
I tried that with both XSP and BTU CSCs and now it’s says “SIM Network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK.”
Says that no matter which SIM I insert.

SIM PUK comes from your carrier. Call the carrier and ask for PUK code and see if it will work.
Also if you go to recovery menu, it will re-apply CSC.
