Yep, OG Cyanogenmod and LineageOS user.
But as of now, Lineage haven't confirmed anything yet apart from Paranoid Android.

Nobody is going to confirm or deny anything. It might show up or it might not.

As I wrote in this post, with the exception of Paranoid Android with this tweet, LineageOS has not announced anything about support for the Phone(1).
Then the Phone(1) still lacks reliability and stability in its OS, so I think that until the OS is stabilized, the devs will wait.
We have to be patient.

Can we just flash GSI image?
i know Havoc OS provides GSI images

Many custom ROM distributions offer official GSI targets. You can also opt for unofficial builds. You can flash most of them through the Fastboot interface; a custom recovery like TWRP is not a mandatory prerequisite.
If you want to fiddle with GSIs on your Nothing Phone 1, first download the appropriate stock ROM for your model so that you can easily restore the factory firmware. Next, take a look at this index and grab a GSI of your choice.

Thanks a lot for clearing the doubt. I'll definitely take a look and compare whether it's worth losing the nothing phone's stock interface and glyphs over a fast and an always updated OS ..

[Q] No Multi-Window Feature in OMNI ROM?

Hi everyone! I hope I have came to the right place. I recently rooted my Galaxy Note 2 on AT&T that was running 4.3. Had some issues mainly because I forgot to also flash Gapps to my phone. Anyway, before I flashed OMNI ROM to my phone, I was wiping data like I saw you were supposed to do when I wiped the Android OS... I know what you are thinking, n00b. Honestly, I have wanted to root my phone for a while but it seemed complicated. So anyway, it said I had no OS installed. So naturally, I freaked out. Then I thought, woah! I can just flash OMNI ROM now so I can still have a phone! Which I did and Gapps and my phone is working awesome now. Just like Android 4.4.2. However, the only feature missing is the Multi-Window Feature. Is this because I erased the OS before I flash OMNI ROM? I tried downloading multi window support from the Play Sore however it just said that I don't have a file installed or my device isn't supported. Which I know it is because I used to use Multi-Window like it was my job. Any help would be awesome everyone. Thanks and have a wonderful day! (Sorry for the long post)
Try to find an unofficial build for your device that has it. I maintain builds for the HTC One and Samsung Nexus 10 (m7att and manta, respectively) that include it. It's not in unofficial builds yet due to issues/coding in it, but it's decently stable if you can find an unofficial build in your device forum.

I downloaded one that was official and unofficial. Both said they had Multi-Window Support. Do you think I should unroot and go back to Stock ROM and try to re-root but this time not erasing the entire Android OS?

Not at all. The official ones do not have it. If the unofficial one you're trying doesn't have it, but is listed, then ask the person who compiled it.
If the unofficial version has multiwindow but you can't turn it on, then maybe you don't know how to? It's not the same as Crapsungs implementation.

Hello Dev's,
As many of you heard that Resurrection Remix 6.x has been released earlier this month. Also Multirom TWRP has merged the sources of Android 8.1 in its git. We want both (RR v6.x && Multirom TWRP (Oreo version)). As the older version of Multirom TWRP is unable to flash Oreo 8.1 based Roms, therefore it must have to replaced with newer one.

Not sure if you really meant this, but I have a pretty powerful PC (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz) that is largely idle. I'd be happy to share access to a build environment VM if that would result in this port!

It seems that there are some problems with A/B partitioning. I think it's the main reason why it's being delayed.
UPD: Sorry, haven't checked the article first. It says exactly about A/B partitioning.

I guess there is just some feeling when you use an official ROM. It gives of quite a certain vibe to it. And OTA, I think.
Good news. if its legit.

Of course it's legitimate, we got the information directly from the people involved at the LineageOS team.
Mi a1 will surely recieve official lineage os and this is the proof : https://review.lineageos.org/#/c/LineageOS/lineage_wiki/+/218173/
I think the real reason of why lineage didnt officially suported it already was because of the A/B partitions.

OTA is not dependent on a rom being 'official'. Unofficial builds can have OTA.
There is not going to be any improvement in this rom if it becomes official since the same people are going to maintain it in the official versions.
So its better to stop asking for 8.1 just because of 'feelings' but to push Xiaomi to develop Android P instead.

Custom rom AEX, LOS etc... Full working is real?

We have a chance to get fully operational custom rom with full working FP in display? I am afraid that this may not work... Any DEV could u say something more?

I have the same concern. If I go for a 6T would be not only for the battery life and speed but mostly for the long term support coming from the possibility to install AOSP roms. As Oneplus/Oppo has already released the kernel for the development it should be fine.
Search for the FP here:

Sounds good! [emoji50][emoji3059]
Basically for fully functional fingerprint support the development require some more effort and different framework compared with 6. We can see here more info on this discussion where some users are testing already custom roms.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) SM-J730F

Hey!
I need a ROM for this. I tried LineageOS but I couldn't find one. Is there something that removes the bloatware from Samsung and just leaves Android and Gapps?
I'm currently using LineageOS for Motorola G4 Play and it works ok. Sometimes the 4G will have issues when I leave Wifi and I have to make a call to "unlock" 4G, but I think it's mostly due to the phone being like 5 years old.
I had a look in https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/samsung-galaxy-j7-2017-roms-kernels-recoveries.6631/
and saw this which might be debloatable without losing GApps.

I haven't checked, but the chances of a tweaked Samsung OS supporting VoLTE would likely be much higher than an AOSP OS.
Just make sure the software matches the device exactly.

Hehe, I'm lost completely here. LineageOS was simple because it had clear steps, with these I'm not sure I even understand. Maybe someday there will be something I can use. I don't wanna brick my phone

LineageOS is simpler, especially if your Samsung is officially supported because you can simply use the included LineageOS custom recovery to install LineageOS system. J7 2017 isn't officially supported though. That means you'll need to seek out a different custom recovery such as TWRP from https://twrp.me/Devices/Samsung/
Then seek out a custom ROM which is exactly for your device variant from the ROMS page https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/samsung-galaxy-j7-2017-roms-kernels-recoveries.6631/
By the way, make sure you know exactly which J7 2017 you have. There are a few types.
