Hello Dev's,
As many of you heard that Resurrection Remix 6.x has been released earlier this month. Also Multirom TWRP has merged the sources of Android 8.1 in its git. We want both (RR v6.x && Multirom TWRP (Oreo version)). As the older version of Multirom TWRP is unable to flash Oreo 8.1 based Roms, therefore it must have to replaced with newer one.

WE "WANT"

Use this for now, we can't demand a specific rom.

Not sure if you really meant this, but I have a pretty powerful PC (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz) that is largely idle. I'd be happy to share access to a build environment VM if that would result in this port!

[WIP][Kernel][4.4.2] (3.4+|Hybrid|OC|UV|Battery Friendly) hor1z0nKernel for Falcon

Hi guys,
I'm by no means a pro at kernel building but I've put lots of effort into this kernel so I thought I'd share it with you. I do not own a Moto G so I haven't had a chance to test it. The kernel is still in testing stage and built with Linaro 4.10.0 toolchain. It built from source and has added features from Blechd0se and Faux123's Kernels for Moto G.
Edit: These kernels are only for stock based 4.4.2 ROM's and not for PAC, CM etc.
It should work in theory but since I do not own the device, I can't be certain.
If someone would be kind enough to test them for me, I'd be really thankful.
Also, you will not end up in a bootloop or lose data after flashing this kernel. Just use the command fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot boot boot.img and if there are any problems, your phone will come back to the original state on next boot.
If the kernel crashes or fails to boot, please get me a last_kmsg so I can debug it.
Code:
adb shell cat /proc/last_kmsg > kmsg.txt

From wich sources is kernel made? If its from Cyanogenmod sources it should work on custom roms..and if it isn't,could you make one and add the same features? It seems really good but i dont want to revert to stock just to test..

Has anyone tried this kernel?
What is the best kernel I can use for Moto G XT1033.
Sorry for stupid questions. I'm new to XDA. :silly:
Sorry buddy, but where are the sources? Can you post a link?
Thanks
The download links are broken..

Hmm... so as expected the biggest stumbling block is the build servers and mirrors, tough being the largest custom ROM and have to do literally hundreds of builds per night, but it looks like progress is being made.

Thanks for pointing that out. Snap camera has added features:
1) Enable/Disable shutter sound (not working for me)
2) I think option to pause a video recording is new.
3) Images are directly opened by Snap camera.

Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

[DEV] [ROM] AICP 7.1.2 for G532x

UPDATE: Dot OS 7.1.2 available in a post of the Facebook page GETAKGT1. It's a little bit more stable than this ROM, and it's ported by the same guy than this one (Melekpro).
Hello guys! This time GETAKGT1 and melekpro ported AICP 7.1.2 ROM to our J2 Prime.
I didn't made it. I'm just sharing it as author's petition.
This ISN'T STABLE to use it in your every-day phone.
Warning: flashing Magisk will make a bootloop. If you already flashed it, flash the uninstall script to boot normally.

Yep, OG Cyanogenmod and LineageOS user.
But as of now, Lineage haven't confirmed anything yet apart from Paranoid Android.
Nobody is going to confirm or deny anything. It might show up or it might not.
As I wrote in this post, with the exception of Paranoid Android with this tweet, LineageOS has not announced anything about support for the Phone(1).
Then the Phone(1) still lacks reliability and stability in its OS, so I think that until the OS is stabilized, the devs will wait.
We have to be patient.
Can we just flash GSI image?
i know Havoc OS provides GSI images

True

Many custom ROM distributions offer official GSI targets. You can also opt for unofficial builds. You can flash most of them through the Fastboot interface; a custom recovery like TWRP is not a mandatory prerequisite.
If you want to fiddle with GSIs on your Nothing Phone 1, first download the appropriate stock ROM for your model so that you can easily restore the factory firmware. Next, take a look at this index and grab a GSI of your choice.

Thanks a lot for clearing the doubt. I'll definitely take a look and compare whether it's worth losing the nothing phone's stock interface and glyphs over a fast and an always updated OS ..
