Redmi 9T can't boot, only shows battery charging screen. PLEASE HELP ME!!! - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

So earlier, I unlocked my Redmi 9T phone using the Xiaomi Official Tool, then flashed TWRP using XiaoMiTool V2, I opened cmd and entered fastboot reboot recovery, it's still in fastboot mode, I tried Power button + volume buttons and still stuck on fastboot and before it boots into fastboot again, it shows a charging battery icon. I plugged in my phone to my pc and selected "My phone is bricked" in XiaoMiTool V2 and waited for 1 hour to finish the download, it tries to install but when it gave me an error, I closed it and tried to reboot my phone, NOW IT'S SHOWING A CHARGING BATTERY ICON AND CAN'T DO ANYTHING! I keep turning on my phone but it only shows the battery and turns itself off quick. PC/ADB can't detect any, can't boot into fastboot, can't boot into system, can't boot into recovery. Please help me, I'm gonna get in BIG trouble. Please help me... Thanks!

You have missed the subforum:
This is here for Mi 9T /Redmi K20
You are asking about Redmi 9T
That's totally different name, phone model, hardware, Android version.
After all, your phone model is about two years newer than our Mi 9T here
Specially you made a big mistake if you maybe downloaded and flashed the TWRP for Mi 9T/Redmi K20 to your Redmi 9T, and bricked your phone
One needs to be careful about the phone models!!!

Generally, you should be able to fix by flashing the stock firmware via MiFlash again
But if you also locked your Bootloader by using the MiFlash last time, you will not be able to flash anything and you will need to seek around for the paid EDL support
Better ask on the XDA (sub)forum for your Redmi 9T:
Redmi 9 Power / 9T
The Redmi 9 Power is a 6.53" phone with a 1080x2340p resolution display. The Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 65/128GB of storage. The main camera is 48+8+2+2MP and the selfie camera is 8MP. The battery has a 6000mAh capacity.

But you can ask in the right XDA subforum for your phone - where somebody familiar with your device could help you, or you cannot (or you don't want)?!
If you hard bricked your phone then you will need to find somebody to help you with the paid EDL account - usually they cannot advertise on XDA since advertising the paid support is forbidden. You should seek around on TG channels and so
That was the last my answer for you. Cannot help you better for your different phone. Good luck

Can you confirm that my redmi 2 is 100 % dead? - infinite bootloop -

Hello everyone,
As I usually do, I flashing with ADB a new CWM recovery, found on needrom (trustable?), and I got this "infinite bootloop" issue. That seems like nothing to do with my Redmi note 2/ Prime 2015056. No access to bootloader, no recovery, no edl... and no fastboot / adb detection. The machine can access to Mediatek VCOM or USB port during less than 2 secs. I tried to fix this with more than 10 solutions offers on on XDA and mui . com, in vain. Phone is on auto insta-reboot mode each 3-5 secondes. No boot on recovery or fastboot mode. On charge, battery logo is always 0 %.
Is there a possibility to boot on a .bin on SD card or just to stop this infinite boot loop? Do you think my battery could be the problem of this?
Thanks a lot for your help and advice

[HELP] Can't unbrick my mi a1

Hi everyone. Yesterday, I flashed Mi5X rom on my mi a1 and now it's stuck on boot page saying "The system has been destroyed. Press power button to shutdown. I can still enter into fastboot mode but my bootloader got locked itself ( it was unlocked before). I tried unlocking boot loader using "fastboot oem unlock" command but i got error
"FAILED (remote: Token verification failed, reboot the device)". I also tried to flash stock rom using mi flash tool but again but flashing completes in 0 seconds. When using another rom file i got error: "error Mismatching image and device". i tried another rom but it also got flashed in 0 seconds. So if anyone knows something then please share with me. It will be a great help to me. Also tell me if i did something wrong in the way. Thanks.
Why would you flash Mi5X ROM on Mi A1? Guess you cant get into the recovery or can you? What do you get if you type fastboot devices?

First of all I thought that both devices are similar so I flashed Mi5X rom on my mi a1. I can't get into recovery mode. And fastboot devices command recognizes my mi a1 . I have no problem in getting my mi a1 into fastboot mode and connecting it to my PC.

Thats interesting... what about getting in EDL mode? There you can flash stock ROM. In EDL mode you dont have to unlock bootloader to flash.
Try to use EDL mode, there is a guide here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76347021&postcount=2
Dont ever to flash Mi5x rom again, the hardware is similar but not the same, we MiA1 use A/B partitions.
The reason the fastboot OEM unlock command no longer works may be that you flashed an MIUI ROM onto your phone and that command isn't how you unlock the bootloader on MIUI. My understanding is that you need to request unlock permission on the Xiaomi website and after you get verification that it's been approved you use their unlock tool to unlock the bootloader. If you manage to get the bootloader unlocked then you can hopefully use the MI Flash tool to restore your phone to stock.
like someone said already use EDL mode.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70hYUCjAsCM
and if you have updated miui EDL could be blocked here is miui forum post about it http://en.miui.com/thread-1680467-16-1.html
best of luck.
edit : I revived father's redmi1a once using testpoint.. nasty but works out ok, if you have a PC , cable and drivers needed..
earlier MI allowed use of EDL cables but with new miui they removed this functionality from bootloading
Since you can get into fastboot, try the following command to go into EDL:
fastboot oem edl

It's a good cheap phone for people who can't afford a flagship. It's also priced at what it's worth. New OnePlus & Pixel phones cost much more than they are actually worth based on build quality and resale value after 1 year. You can easily buy a refurbished or used Pixel XL ($1000 list) for $200. I paid $800 (including sales tax, shipping and insurance) for a new OnePlus 5 and got $270 when I sold it 8 months later and threw in over $100 in accessories. Buying an expensive flagship phone that loses most of its value within a year is the big mistake.

The number one rule for any phone is don't flash stuff if you don't know what you're doing. If you flash an incompatible ROM on any phone you're going to brick it. That kind of user error can't be blamed on the MI A1.

This I completely agree with. I have a similar problem with Mi A1 but I flashed the Official fastboot ROM and now it's bricked. Here is the full detail:
Hey, I have a question for you since google can't help me with it, trust me, I tried.
I have a Mi A1 device and after I flashed the latest Oreo update (official) on it, it went into a coma (bricked but not dead), i.e. the phone kept vibrating every 1 second when it's connected to PC or when I push the power button. Can't get to fastboot or recovery, screen doesn't turn on and no charging screen when connected to power.
So I had to open up the back cover and did the "two point short" trick to force boot it to EDL mode, where I was able to flash the factory (earlier) fastboot image (Nougat) through Miflasher program.
After that I was able to boot to fastboot, and its default recovery. But the problem remains, I cannot boot to the system itself. When I press the power button it shows the splash screen and says "The system has been destroyed". I can go to fastboot with volume down + power button combo. I tried to flash the same fastboot rom through fastboot as well, I got the same result.
I also flashed the official and unofficial TWRPs on it, it boots into them as well. I also tried to flash other custom ROMs in it through those TWRPs, following every step clearly, where they say that after flashing the ROM TWRP needs to be flashed again. I did all that. But the problem remains, after the flash and reboot it always shows me that "The system has been destroyed" message and the phone has to be shut down (because it asks you to power it off on that message.)
And ofc the phone is unlocked. Although it is easy for it to be locked and unlocked through fastboot anyway.
So I am basically stuck now. Do you know a way forward? Is there a cure for it? Or my last option is to take it to service center when I know for sure that they are going to ask me to change the motherboard. This device was bought in Hong Kong so the warranty card is useless here.
Thanks for reading.
And I also made a thread about it, needs to be updated with this.

Bricked REDMI 3S with locked bootloader

I have a bricked redmi 3s prime. It is having locked bootloader.
First I had search for local repair center to fix it. But the shop guy said me to replace motherboard of device. But I'm not sure what is the exact issue with device, because I can still use recovery option as well fastboot.
I'm bit technical, so I thought it is software issue. So I thought to un-brick it myself. So I had tried almost many methods to un-brick it but not getting any success till yet.
The methods I have tried mentioned below.
1) From recovery, simply wipe data storage and try to turn on device. Waited for 20 mins on mi logo screen. No Success.?
2) Enter into fastboot mode (Device detected as some random string on PC) and simply try to flash both fastboot roms (Global and Developer) using MiFlash beta Tool. Even fastboot mode unable to flash those official roms. No Success.?
3) Enter into EDL mode using TestPoint method (Device detected as COM6 on PC). Again try with both roms MiFlash. After flashing each rom I had waited over 30 mins on MI logo screen, but nothing happens. No Success.?
One thing common while trying all above methods is that battery power less than 10%. I can not full charge device, because there is no way to turn off device if I'm not succeed with my steps.
So is there anything I'm still missing? Can someone help me with this?

[HELP THREAD] Poco M3 Bricked (No Recovery, No Fastboot, ONLY EDL)

Hey guys! I made a newbie mistake by not using mi flash tool and use manual flashing using sdk fastboot and i dont know what mistake i did but im pretty sure i did something wrong. Bootloader is already unlocked and i have root access already. Right after i flashed a magisk patched boot file to give root access and booted it up. The wifi wasnt working and tried to flash a stock rom again hoping it will fix the wifi not turning on problem, but unfortunately i think i flashed wrong rom or something and it basically bricked. Cant boot to recovery nor fastboot. but mi flashtool and QFIL can detect it. Tried flashing stock rom that i downloaded from official website and Mi flash tool will always fail at authentication and it says "only nop and sig tag can be received before authentication" and other different errors like resdump(etc. cause i dont understand. I tried QFIL using test points i found on google. and it will say Sahara fail or sometimes "firehose fail fhloader fail the system cannot find the file specified". Im not really good at this and really regretting rooting it. I cant give it to Xiaomi Phone centers because i bought it from overseas and there are no xiaomi phone centers in my country.
Can someone with a kind heart help me with this problem? Thank you very much.
Hello! Sorry to say this, but it is pretty much dead. You are in EDL mode, which Xiaomi locked out and you need to have an authorized service account to unbrick it through Mi Flash. A free way to do this would have been to find a patched programmer file, but it doesn't exist yet. I recommend you to ask every phone service in your city if they have an authorized service account or if they have USB Dongles (like Miracle Box or Hydra) for unbricking.
Theres no other choice.. only service center could handle it..

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share the solution that we found out. My Friend had his Poco M3 Bricked, dead boot. No recovery, No display(totally black screen) and when I plug it in via USB it shows "
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 "Been here about a month ago hoping that there is a solution. We tried the rubber band Method(See the attached image how to do it) you just need a cotton buds and a rubber band. Just place the tip of the cotton bud into the power button and secure it with rubber band 2 knots. So it's pressing the power button that way it's draining the battery it took him 2 days to drain it, But once the battery is drained the Charging Icon will display in the screen. And you can charge it and wait for it to boot up. This worked for my Xiaomi Redmi 9T and my Friend Poco M3 bot uses MIUI 12. After it boot again try to Avoid restarting it and Shutting it down so this may never happen Again.

No, same will happen again. It was issue with my Poco M3 too.
Don't restart, recover your data to PC or other mobile. It's a firmware to motherboard issue. Same happened with me, the set was in warranty, I took it to warranty service centre and they replaced motherboard Free of cost, now it's working fine
For all those friends having Poco M3 and having brick issue. Battery drains in 5-7 days. Attempt restart, if successful, recover your data to PC or other mobile. It's a firmware to motherboard issue.
