Guys, got a 4350 in Dutch and I want to have this toy in english.
Download a lot o S*** and nothing work, can some point me to the right place and help me out.
installed the mylanguage, but these guys did not send me any code... lost very lost

You can try installing an english rom from here :
Available Original Shipped ROM Versions
But I suggest that you have your original RUU from your carrier before in case you brick your phone.

They sugested to buy a NEW one in Eng, and that is not the solution!!!!
If is the solution why exist this forum?

The answer to your question is remarkably simple; a search thru the different forums would have answered your question. But we're not to lame the help you on your way
You can find all original RUU, including the WWE edition, in these forum and the wikipage. If you flash this WWE edition RUU version to you p3450 you have the english toy. Since your flashing, you might try the Touch-It version. The same OS but enhanced and slimmed down to make it more userfriendly.
One warning before you start flashing; make sure you have read enough to be sure you know what you're doingand you don't brick your phone.
If you have a "vendor-id" error; you will first have to unlock your CID lock. Chech the Mobile 6 subforum and look for a post by canonyang_China on how to flash without CID-unlock

It makes me mad when people who misunderstood what they have to do.
or did the things wrong.always like others come out and said:"no,nothing work!"

learn more and try more before you give up.
Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but couldnt he have flashed his original rom, used the aserg method and reflashed something like touch it in order to get it into english?

I do agree with u 100% although i did not have more patient and time to spend on this issue, please accept my appoligies for sure i made something wrong and did not work with my "old" toy, at the moment i have the new one, is working as it is suposted, i'm happy and move on.

So with a little help from some nice guys, here it is: the part02.raw of my daxian x999 (also known as T32)!

i extracted it with pdocread after using the elf-uspl on my device and ask all you "rom-gods" and chefs to help me with it!
my goal is to get a german wm 6.1 on my device... or just something newer, than the one which ist running now

I feel your pains, I have had my x999 for about 4 months and love it, just wish someone whould start providing other ROMS. wonder if anyone has ever tried flashing an ELF ROM..

i don´t think it is such a good idea to just try different roms, even elf´s roms!
we don´t know enough about the bootloader and hardware of the x999!
it seems it is not a doc device... any other suggestions?

You'll need to get an RUU or similar to be able to flash the device...

the prob is, that it is not even sure, which company build the device, so i can´t get help or guidance from them
but if u can tell me a kind of "reverse engeneering" way with programs/tools i am willing to try on my phone!

Do you have any idea what kind of hardware (ICs etc) the device uses? It may be possible to flash it using an existing RUU...

i´m not sure about the whole hardware... all i know for sure is the cpu, which is the same like in htc elf... and the memory is the same, too at least the amount (64/128).
how can i determine the needed components?

You said you got the Elf USPL to work on it? That means the two are similar, if not identical...

i used the elf uspl on it, but it didn´t work! sorry for that false information
i have no chance to get it into bootloader mode, even with "elf-tools" so i don´t know what to do...
even another dev from this forum couldn´t help me...

I think one of the itsutils tools can do that...

you´re right, i used these tools to read my rom... but i need a tool to read the bootloader of a msflash-device.
the x999 seems to be no DoC device, so most of the commands fail
hello.the t32 or daxian 999 phone is a OMAP TI 850 cpu based(the same cpu of the htc p3300 and so many other smartphones).I think can be tried to change rom with a htc p3300 coocked rom,with the same procedure for flashing an htc rom.but i m not sure

thanx for your post, but i knew this before. and the problem is not the cpu... you´re right, there are lot´s of ppc´s using the omap ti 850 (elf, artemis and much more htc devices) but that doesn´t mean you can replace the rom´s without probs.
the rest of the hardware differs and thats why an artemis rom doesn´t work on an elf, for example.
we have to get the bootloader ipl/spl informations, they are like the bios for a pc.

Can i make my G4 Dutch 6915 English with this?
I read in another topic a user had issues trying to convert his dutch phone to englsih. I don't think he used this rom-update though.
Is this an official hp rom? or a custom made package?

It's not really about the language that i want the english rom, i want it, because the dutch rom just is very slow. It seems the UK rom has better performance. (lots of discussion about this in dutch forums also).
But i'm not really known with the tools i should use to create a proper backup of my hw6915.
Should i use awizard? or mtty 1.4 in bootloader mode? (those were the two main options i read about in the forum here).
A little help to get me in the good direction would be appreciated.

Absolutely this is english WM5.0 rom,but u gotta make sure ur device is G4(G3.9),otherwise u can't upgrade ur device version with this which I provided.

Hi Everyone,
I'd like to upgrade my current WM 6.5 Pro into 6.5.3 ROM using the default Windows Update on the device, but somehow i got this error whenever I'm trying to check the update.
see the detailed screenshot for further error message and my device info.
Any kind of help for updating the OS into 6.5.3 Pro would be greatly appreciated.

You will not update your rom with Windows Update. It is so called "death" service.
To update your rom you will have to do it with your PC, go to ROM section of this forum, there you will find informations how to do it.

And I would really like to get back to the official HTC ROM, so I've downloaded this one:
RUU_Mondrian_Cingular_US_1.03.502.07_5.51.09.06_22 .30.50_RELEASE.exe
My question is, can I just flash it normally?
HSPL won't be a problem?
What I need to do to get back to the original ROM without bricking my phone?

i bought an HTC Surround three days ago, I'm from Brazil, and I bought it on a Website... it was new.. in the original box and all... it probably came from the USA, since there's no original version of htc surround here in my country...
i'm going through a problem though. i first saw when i turned on my phone, that it was with a 'Dark Team Forces' logo.. and indeed i did my 'homework' and saw it is a custom rom... the problem is that with this rom, the Volume only works at 100!
i dont know why, the alarms dont work too, and this is causin me problems... i really liked the phone, its totally amazing, but this thing that the volume only works at 100 is terrible... if i decrease it to 99,98,97, doesn't mather, the sound just doesn't come out.
There is my doubt. I'm wanting to Downgrade it to the Original WP7 rom... the original system, but I'm afraid that If i'd do it, i wouldn't be able to use my SIMCARD normally as I'm doing now, with the brazilian's phone providers...
I'm very used to Android, but about WP7 I'm an advanced beginner haha...
How could I do the flashing anyway? What's the programs, the roms, what do I do? I'd appreciate your help, really.

I bought it from Mercado Livre (like Ebay).
I just installed the orignal ROM and it works fine now!
I could update all the way to mango afterwards.
But now i'm using another custom ROM, it's not from DFT, it works really great.(It's unlocked)

Flashing or downgrading didn't relocked my sim for me.
