LOST, lost, need real help!!!

Guys, got a 4350 in Dutch and I want to have this toy in english.
Download a lot o S*** and nothing work, can some point me to the right place and help me out.
installed the mylanguage, but these guys did not send me any code... lost very lost

You can try installing an english rom from here :
Available Original Shipped ROM Versions
But I suggest that you have your original RUU from your carrier before in case you brick your phone.

They sugested to buy a NEW one in Eng, and that is not the solution!!!!
If is the solution why exist this forum?

The answer to your question is remarkably simple; a search thru the different forums would have answered your question. But we're not to lame the help you on your way
You can find all original RUU, including the WWE edition, in these forum and the wikipage. If you flash this WWE edition RUU version to you p3450 you have the english toy. Since your flashing, you might try the Touch-It version. The same OS but enhanced and slimmed down to make it more userfriendly.
One warning before you start flashing; make sure you have read enough to be sure you know what you're doingand you don't brick your phone.
If you have a "vendor-id" error; you will first have to unlock your CID lock. Chech the Mobile 6 subforum and look for a post by canonyang_China on how to flash without CID-unlock

It makes me mad when people who misunderstood what they have to do.
or did the things wrong.always like others come out and said:"no,nothing work!"
I just want to say:
is you not work? or is the damn thing not work?
learn more and try more before you give up.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but couldnt he have flashed his original rom, used the aserg method and reflashed something like touch it in order to get it into english?

I do agree with u 100% although i did not have more patient and time to spend on this issue, please accept my appoligies for sure i made something wrong and did not work with my "old" toy, at the moment i have the new one, is working as it is suposted, i'm happy and move on.

A simple question...

Hi i have a Prophet but i destroyed it. Now i would like to buy another smartphone i want to buy a herald from Germany new (O2 XDA TERRA). But it has a rom in German and as i know it uses WM5. Is it simple and possible to install WM6 English or Greek (as i am from Greece) in this phone? In prophet i had installed WM6 after HardSPLED my phone. In this phone i have to do the same? Please don't become ungry with my thread ... Please do not hesitate to inform me...

It depends on your ispl number and what rom you intend on flashing to. Which rom are you planning on flashing to? Open touch doesn't require hard spl, so you can just use the uspl method.

So you mean that the method to install a different rom than the original is different from the prophet method? Is there a possibility that the device i will buy to be locked and never can install a different rom? Please inform me because i want to buy it immediately

You really have two options as far as flashing. You can hard spl or you can use the uspl. Uspl method seems to be safter than hard spl'ing. That being said, it really depends on what rom you are trying to flash to. If you go to ie. open touch, you can use the safer uspl method. If you go to ie touch it, you need to hard spl first.

Here is the method for USPL....which I would recommend since it's safer.

If the SPL is lower than 4.0.0.0, there is another way to flash... it's not perfect, it's been know to fail, and it does not reformat the memory thus you do not regain any wasted storage space, BUT it would at least give you a newer ROM...

Can i make my G4 Dutch 6915 English with this?
I read in another topic a user had issues trying to convert his dutch phone to englsih. I don't think he used this rom-update though.
Is this an official hp rom? or a custom made package?

It's not really about the language that i want the english rom, i want it, because the dutch rom just is very slow. It seems the UK rom has better performance. (lots of discussion about this in dutch forums also).
But i'm not really known with the tools i should use to create a proper backup of my hw6915.
Should i use awizard? or mtty 1.4 in bootloader mode? (those were the two main options i read about in the forum here).
A little help to get me in the good direction would be appreciated.

Absolutely this is english WM5.0 rom,but u gotta make sure ur device is G4(G3.9),otherwise u can't upgrade ur device version with this which I provided.

I have a P3301 and have been reading a lot of posts os people that has used "PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2_PowerMap" in Artemis with locked CID.
Can this be possible?
Another question: is really nice to change the original ROM? I get some new features like more speed (without using overclock), and other apps?

and for the second ... yes it can make your device much better (if not why ppl cook and other flash ROMs )..
like more RAM free and storage

I have a P3301... i´ve just buyed it. Wich ROM is more new and recommended for this device?
I was worried about the ROM wich i asked in first post, because the related posts about that, all were posted in 2007...
We are in final of 2008.... and i have a new device... So i wanted a more recent and complete ROM....

well in my opinion and for WWE ROM try the following:
if you want a rom with manila i highly recomend FlyROM (the one in my segniture)
if you want a clean and best performance try the YuE v11.3 ExtraClean.
and there are other ROMs what i did not tried even they look good like gulloms and T.I.R

yes if you want to flash any ROM except your device original ROM you have to CID UNLOCK first...
and sorry i don't know how to do it in vista

no it doesn't the spl will remain .11 and the radio as it was before flashing

Can you explain to me waht the SPL initals mean?

IPL - Initial Program Loader, a bit like BIOS on a desktop.
SPL - Secondary Program Loader, the bootloader, which starts the OS.
and for the number as you know it's like a version and when it .111 it's unlocked as i know

So yes, as he just said, it WILL work for your phone. There's a fix for your keyboard after flashing somewhere on XDA. That's all that's different for you two.

one last stupid question
hey i have one last realy stupid question i have noticed that everything is for t mobile but i live in south afirica and i use Vodacom will that be a problem with the rom or is something gonna bug it all up

No. The Herald and the Tmobile Wing are almost identical except for their keyboards. If you have a Herald, flash a herald ROM. If you flash a Wing ROM, then some keys won't be mapped correctly but everything else will work fine.
