Huawei Y3 II bootloader - Huawei Y3 Questions & Answers

Yo pals, i wanna unlock Huawei Y3 II bootloader, but those huawei mf dont give codes
I tried to use DC-Unlocker but after clicking button to identify phone, program do not answer but task manager shows its using 25% CPU power so idk does it work or not, on videos it just worked but in my case
Once found here some python and C# scripts that will give me that code by bruteforce method, but Python code tests only code 1000000000, prints "Testing 10%" and thats all. phone stays in fastboot with red text "FRP Unlock"
That C# code halts on 19th attemp, made script with nircmd (like in that thread) but still it wasnt working
Tried some another programs from internet but in most cases it dont see phone/dont work
Phone is Huawei Y3-II Lua-L21
PC im using to unlock phone bootloader: ThinkPad T540p
OS: Windows 10 / Linux Mint Xfce 20.2
Tried various USB Cables and program even through wine on linux.
None of these solutions work, im trying to unlock that phone for 2 years, please help if you know any solution

I guess you wanna root the phone. Just patch your boot image, use spflashtool to write the boot image to phone. " Don't use download, Use write memory function" google search might help you

[Q] Unlock ZTE Open C

I want do do some development for Firefox OS and I have a ZTE Open C to work on. But I can't unlock the device. I've downloaded the Open_C_upgrade_Tool and run it in serveral environments. I only have a Mac and so I installed Bootcamp with Windows XP but the Upgrade Tool just says scanning for device ... and never finds it! Also tried it with XP running under VMware Fusion - the same result the UpgradeTool just searches for the ZTE and never finds it.
Before I pluged the ZTE to the system via USB I took out the SIM-Card and the SD-Card even tried with only SIM-Card out but again no success.
So can anyone here give any help with this. I read on other post that people had the same problem but there is no answer on this matter ...
And without unlocking my device it's no use to start any project.
Thanks for any help in advance!
Hi,
You can follow this guide to flash a the rooted image on your device (I assume you have an EU version) :
(Warning : not sure if it works on US version)
http://builds.firefoxos.mozfr.org/doc/en/devices/zte-open-c-eu
(and optionally update FirefoxOS with the provided -unofficial- builds)
The best would be to use a real Windows computer, I don't know if it works in a virtual machine for sure. But be sure to install the usb drivers (download link provided in the above guide) before trying to flash.
I have done it on my Open C and now I'm currently testing FxOS 2.1 (aurora)

Lumia 950XL Prototype

I have a Lumia 950XL prototype I got recently, but it's stuck on version 10586.164
When looking for updates says it is up to date, already tried it (WDRT) even if you messed up the product code
unsuccessfully
Can someone help me? He has the boot unlocked

you tried Interop Unlock and registry change?

3.Go to the app bar, then choose x50 series unlock. You will receive an error about the acer service not running. That's ok for now. Click step 1 and it will tell you to install the acer system service and copy some files. To install the acer system service, use iutool [rs and newer builds, this version is essential, old versions will probably not work] (can be found here. thanks @Wack0Distractor ).
iutool install https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68459157&postcount=13
run this command as administrator
iutool -v -p "path to the file acer.service.acersystemservice.spkg"
if you receive error 0x80070490, disconnect your phone from usb, go to control panel on your pc, devices and printers, find your windows phone and remove device. reconnect the usb to your phone, and after it reinstalls the drivers automatically, run iutool command above again.
if you receive error 0x8024a110, your phone should reboot to the gears UI in a minute. if not, run the command again. if it still doesnt auto reboot, manually reboot your phone. It should reboot into the gears UI, then back into the OS. if it still fails and doest show gears, give you phone a rest for 5-10 minutes and retry(usually needed after a new rom flash).
4.When you're back in the phone OS, copy newndtksvc.dll and ndtksvc.dll to your documents folder on your phone through USB
5.Go to the app bar, then choose x50 series unlock. You should no longer receive the error about the acer service. Now click step 2 and follow the rest of the instructions from the app.
6.If you've taken the silent extras/advanced+info update, or updated that app manually, be sure to choose the option "Restore NDTK 950/XL" in the "x50 series unlock" page and reboot to regain access to the elevated features. It basically means if it suddenly stops working, apply this setting.

hi, can you boot in masstoragemode and dump few partitions?
before update, make full dump via win32diskimager
If you can have your phone recognized by PC in any mode, there's a spark of hope, but be warned that I take no responsibility for any damage that may occur (and it may occur since you are installing a software that's made for final products on a prototype):
I strongly recommend you to perform a full ROM backup if possible to be able to get back to this version if things go horribly wrong. If you can't do this, you may consider enrolling in Windows Insider program (which may allow you to get new builds), or perform a software RM Code change - most recommended- (check here: thewincentral.com/get-windows-10-mobile-redstone-on-older-lumias-using-an-app-now-uses-same-mod/)
You might not find a ROM corresponding exactly to that product code (because it's a prototype) on the internet, but you can download any Lumia 950 XL Firmware you'd like (check this: www . lumiafirmware.com/ser/RM-1085).
Once you've downloaded all firmware files, use the following tool to flash the firmware onto your device: androidmtk.com / use-windows-phone-image-designer-tool

How to unlock any Huawei Bootloader after removal of unlock page including Mate SE

Hello All!
I was disappointed when I received my Huawei Mate SE BND-L34 (USA) 2 days ago that I could not unlock the bootloader because Huawei removed the unlock page from their website. Even after talking to support via live chat and email I could not get any help from them. So I decided to do my own research.
DISCLAIMER: THIS WILL WIPE YOUR DEVICE! THIS INCLUDES INTERNAL STORAGE! I am not responsible for any lost data or bricked devices!
Getting your Unlock Code:
1. First you need to go to https://www.dc-unlocker.com/ and register for an account. Do not download their software!
2. Instead download the software at https://hcu-client.com/
3. Install drivers via HiSuite if you have not.
4. View the supported devices page. Now the Mate SE is not listed as a supported device but it did work for my device (Mate SE).
5. Make sure your drivers are installed via HiSuite.
6. Now go into https://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy and buy 4 credits. This is needed for the software. Cost is 4 EUR ($5)
7. Launch HCU-Client and connect your phone.
8. Open the dialer on your phone and enter *#*#2846579#*#* select “Background settings”, “USB ports settings”, “Manufacture mode”.
9. Now in HCU Client log into your account (Check your Email for info) click Read Phone Info.
10. Go to Unlock tab and choose Read Bootloader code. It says it will wipe your device but mine did not get wiped until I unlocked my phone. This will take a couple of minutes. Watch the right terminal window. It should spit out your code.
Using your Unlock Code:
1. Turn off your phone, Boot your device into Fastboot mode with Vol down and power button.
2. CD to where you downloaded ADB/Fastboot Tools
Run these commands when inside ADB tools directory
a) fastboot devices. (your device should bee listed. If not reinstall drivers/reboot)
b) fastboot oem get-bootinfo (just to confirm everything is detected correctly
c) fastboot oem unlock <your_unlock_code>
3. Acknowledge the prompt on your phone. Device will be WIPED!
4. Once the wipe finishes it will take several minutes for phone to boot up. Do not panic. Once you See Huawei logo you are OK!
To root your Mate SE and Install TWRP follow this guide: http://www.desinerd.co.in/how-to-huawei-mate-se-root-twrp-recovery/
Do not use the Magisk Zip in that post. Instead grab it from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445

dude thanks so much it worked!!! on the honor 7x!!
EDIT: To my surprise it actually worked

The tool is safe. It's a false positive. If you are unsure Go read the HCU-Client forums.
Its your decision but I haven't noticed any ill effects. You can always run it in a VM.
Ok. Thanks

Stupid program won't run on my computer. Saw someone else on the dc-unlocker forums with the same problem. They linked a version to download but the link is dead now. I think this phone really wants to be returned.

You can try DC-locker instead of HCU-Client. I just find HCU easier to use.
Are u on Windows 10? If not make sure you have latest. NET Framework installed. Try running in compatibility mode.

Yes, Win 10. DC-unlocker link in the Android app shows 7x BND-L34 as compatible but it's not in the drop-down box of the Windows app and doesn't get autodetected .

Yea only thing I can think of is make sure latest .Net framework is installed and latest Visual C. Maybe try compatibility mode
The DC-unlocker problems were my fault. After getting the drivers right, it detected my phone and pulled the unlock code.

Logged into this account for the first time in YEARS just to say thanks a lot for this. I was pretty gutted when I found that Huawei removed their Unlock link and refused to give codes to anyone even via support emails.
I was super hesitant to try this though, I'll admit. Spending money on what (to me) looked like a shady site was the biggest red flag. But decided to bite the bullet and do it.
The only issue I had was that my phone DID get shut down after the bootloader code was read, which caused ADB not to be able to read my phone (adb devices) for some reason. So I had to turn it on, reboot fastboot via adb and then proceed from there. But that was the only issue I had.
So again, thanks a ton for this. :good:
Got problems making this work. Hope you don't mind helping an Android newbie.
Step 7 is to "start client". On Windows 10 I had to disable the virus scan just to see the HCU.exe from the extract. When I click on it I get "This application was unable to start correctly 0xc150002". Ideas? A previous step is to install drivers. I downloaded HiSuite and and made sure I could connect to my device. Does "installing drivers" mean something more ? Thanks.

Nope you are good on the drivers. Nothing else to be done.
As for the error code I recommend disable your Anti-virus and the built in Windows Defender and then re-downloading the program. If it still doesn't work you can try the DC-unlocker program instead of HCU-Client. It should work I just have only used HCU-CLIENT.

Finally got my unlock code! Many thanks to Sandman-007 and foltz61 for their help.
Following instructions from #1 of this thread, I could not (like others here) get the hcu client working on my PC. So here are my instructions on using DC-unlocker instead:
1. Go to consumer.huawei.com / minisite / HiSuite_en/
Download HiSuite. Install it on PC. Connect Phone to PC. In HiSuite click connect to my device.
(May have to enter Developper Mode on Phone: Settings>About Phone>Tap 7 times on your Build number. Enable USB debugging.)
2. Go to www .dc-unlocker .com / buy
Item : New user account, User name you want, Your email, Credits: 4
They will send you a email with a username and password you will need later ...
3. Go to www .dc-unlocker .com / downloads
Download DC-unlocker client to PC. Install it.
4. With Phone still connect to PC, use phone dialer enter *#*#2846579#*#*
Select “Background settings”, “USB ports settings”, “Manufacture mode”.
5. Now start the dc-unlocker client on the PC.
Enter: Huawei Phones (not modems) + Auto Detect + Click Search Icon. You will then see some on your phone info.
6. Click on "Server" and enter your username and password from the email you got at step 2.
7. Click on "Unlocking" + Read Boodloading code. Voila! Copy paste your code somewhere safe!
After giving me my code, my phone shut down. I just re-started it and all was fine.
(To get a better idea, the youtube video v=Lgph755EbKEcovers steps 4 to 7.)
I just did some searching, in my backup images. And I found the unlock code inside the "splash2.img"
/dev/block/mmcblk0p19
Still looking into possible ways to read this from inside the phone, and from locked phone too.
NVM, I think splash2.img is just some type of log file
Is there any other way to get the bootloader unlock code? I tried to buy credits and they refunded me because my paypal is not verified.
Or does anybody out there have a license and would be willing to run my IMEI to get my code? I am at a loss of what else to do.

Why don't you just verify your PayPal or use a credit card?
Someone can't just run your IMEI to get an unlock code. Only way is if they reprogram their device to use your IMEI. That's illegal.
You should NEVER under any circumstances just hand it out. Especially with this tool. Someone with this tool could steal your IMEI and knock you offline.

Can't unlock bootloader

I tried unlocking the bootloader of Max pro m2 by following a thread from xda ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3885457)But it doesn't work
My phone is in Android 10 beta 2 I tried it on beta 1 and on pie but it doesn't work IAM using a Linux pc and executing unlock.sh file the file runs fine the commands are all done and it asks for confirmation when I confirm nothing happens except the phone being factory reseted. This thread is pretty old so I wonder it only works on Oreo or is the Linux file corrupt......
If u have any solution or alternate method please comment

Try on windows once.
Also use usb 2.0 port
And update drivers.
Heres how to fix it
Man i had the same problem so i will help you (but i have m1)
You need to download newest adb and fastboot directly from google. Then replace the adb in the unlock folder with the new google one. Then type "sudo bash nameofunlockfile.sh" and type password
reply to private message
https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
replace the fastboot and adb with new one and type "sudo bash unlock.sh"
