I have a 2004 BMW 530i and the previous owner fitted a China Android Head Unit.
My head unit just froze at the boot logo stage whenever i try to use it, i have emailed the seller and sent him a video of the problem , but he just gave me a firmware update file which didn’t work a solution to my problem,
The normal CCC menus work fine and the reversing camera works as well, so something is preventing the Android OS from starting.
I’ve seen some people here with the same issue and was able to fix their problem but the links to their fixes are expired, so i hope someone out here can help me. It’s making me nuts!!! Because i know it works

this is a factory reset
now it doesn't install the update, I insert the stick and the boot doesn't start, mention that bluetouth camera pdc sensors and many others don't work ,,, at mcu I did the update. can you help me? thanks

Same here. Just happened today on my BMW E90, I bought the Screen from the aliexpress seller AUTOTOP, 64GB 10 inch.
It is stuck at the BMW logo and after shows a black screen: LINK SYS 1, NO SIGNAL.

Hi guys, im going round the bend with my Vauxhall head unit from A-sure, the number on top starts L2OVBR.
I have seen a few posts about upgrading by sd for the S3 models of these same units, but none for my type.
I tried the S3 rom and it trys to load but i get error message about files being missing
INFO: CANT FIND MCU FILE
INFO:CANT FIND STM32VD.BIN
DVD:INFO: CANT FIND B288ROM
INFO:NAND ID EC F1 00 95 41 EC
This is the info i get when attempting to load the S3 rom. I assume the s3 and the L2 are not compatable?
What happened was while playing from usb the usb came loose and turned off, the unit then went blank.
Now when i press the reset with a pin, the car logo will give a quick flash then cut out. I have tried holding pin in for 2 min, tried combination of buttons but still the same.
Any help hould be great, If anyone could link me to the rom i need that would be great, As it does try to load the rom but i cant get the right one. A-sure dont respond to Ebay or facebook or Email.

Looks like these units are loaded with Wince 7, I have emailed A-sure but no answer as of yet, im not surprised as all over the internet it is reported they aint interested, and when they do they want you to return the unit to china!
I have been looking all over the internet for the files i would need to repair the software but cant find a thing.
I downloaded a file called 117-nav-en-wince6 that was reported to help restore windows on these units but nothing with mine, just a blank screen until you press the reset button and then you would get a quick flash of the vauxhall icon and then goes black again.
Im wondering if something has fried inside the unit? but then it does try to load the wrong android files as it should, and the picture comes up when pressing reset so would imply the graphics chip is ok?
Nobody got any ideas at all?
ran 12v to the unit and canbus connection to rule out the canbus but it still does the same with the canbus box disconnected.
so def a problem with the unit. Am i alone in the forum? lol
Fixed the unit by restoring the software. I now have the software for the L2 and L4 A-sure models
just incase somebody else runs into the same problem, and gets about as much help as i did.
Least its fixed.

I need help because my android car unit is currently stuck on the Android splash screen, before that problem the unit has worked well during 5 months.
I have sent a mail to the seller but i'm waiting for a response.
Here is the unit, this is exactly the same but mine running on android 6.1 :

My question is : How do i can enter in the recovery mode ?
I mean that i proceed to a hard reset with a wipe cache...
But i have tried some combination key but not chance i can't enter to the recovery mode.
The canbus link is ok i can increase or reduce the sound and i can hear only one band on radio but android won't start and i see only the android splashscreen.

No I have bought another unit from daisata and since I never have problem with This new unit it's more reliable than uniway one.
This uniway unit is very poor quality and unreliable don't buy This brand.
Howdy, folks.
I just purchased and installed a Witson 8236 (10.25") Android head unit running Android 8.1 powered by an rk3399 CPU.
Every time I switch over to the Android side, I am getting an Active Headlamp Error (BMW) which goes away when I switch back to the OEM side of the system. The other issue is that the iDrive controller does not work at all in the Android environment, though this is a far less alarming issue.
It's my hope that this is only a firmware issue and I can update to address the issue, or even downgrade if necessary.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction to find any available update? I don't even have the Password to access their settings environment, and their support is lousy, which is to say: nonexistent.

Thanks. Got that info from Witson. I'm having a problem with an 'Adaptive Headlight Error' warning every time I switch to the Android side of the head unit. I'm also not getting any navigation at all on the Android side using the iDrive knob, it's touch screen only.

I did the same thing, and it was a chore to get them to send the respective files to re-flash. Send me a PM to remind me, and I'll see if I can dig them up for you. They're really not strong with support.

Sending a PM now. Are you having trouble with the head unit causing an Adaptive Headlight warning? Every time I switch from the CIC side to Android, the car goes wonky and I get the 'blong' warning sound and a constant error on the headlights. Sometimes it ends in about 10 minutes (an eternity) sometimes it doesn't until I turn the car off for a half hour or so.

Hey guys. My partner has just purchased a second hand Hikity. I have installed it, factory reset it then connected it to my phones hot-spot to update all the apps.
The only problem we're having now is the damn thing ain't turning off when the ignition is off and I cannot find the canbus protocol for a Citroën Xsara Picasso.
I updated the firmware, everything is now in chinese and none of the google apps now work. Does anyone have the english firmware these things originally came with.
According to the information on the System Info section:
Model: F9212B
XY Auto: 7.3.7 (X2)
MCU 4.2 (X2)
CAN Pro: 9.0.2
Android 10
Posting here to see if anyone can help with these issues.

Any firmware update resets all settings and you need to set it first to your language in the settings.
Then you need to connect your unit again with the google account before using them.

When I updated the firmware, it added several chinese apps and the google apps do not work at all even after I set the language to english.

It's a second hand aftermarket stereo, bought through Facebook. He wouldn't know anything apart from installing it in to the vehicle.

Seems to be a quite special issue on your system.
May be wait for someone who is familiar with your special device.
In the mean time, you should have a look at this thread. May be you find something in there.
By the way: The not turning off issue is related to wrong installation. You need to check clamp 15 and clamp 30.
If you don´t have the right CAN-box you even won´t be able to get anything from the car.

It doesn't have a CAN-box, it does the CAN bus straight through the unit. What is clamp 15 and clamp 30?

I search the forum but nobody seems to have the stock firmware for my model of Android unit as its version is 7.3.7, I cannot downgrade it to a previous version.
Right OK. Finally got the correct firmware after many hours of using Google translate. It works to a certain degree but the physical buttons on the unit do not work at all. Any ideas on how I get them to work again.

There should be a page in the settings of the unit where you can set the physical buttons. Mostly hidden behind a special pin. You may ask in the related threads for your unit if you don´t know the pin already.
I've got in to that setting but when holding the correct buttons down, I keep getting study failed error.

I think you don´t have the right firmware for your unit then.
Then I'm stumped. I can get it in to recovery mode but with no physical unit buttons and the USB keyboard not being recognised I am unable to factory reset it completely. I'm struggling to locate the original Xyauto stock firmware it came with.

Since 2022, September, I`m struggling with an issue on my TS10 Navi.
Whenever i turn on the engine the only thing that i get to load is the "Honda" logo and nothing seems to work.
I already tried this video (
As the Aliexpress seller told me, i wired the navi accordingly so i can go and reset it and whenever i do that i get the next message:
