WPA3 Support? - Walmart Onn Tablets General

I'm sending an Android Tablet to a friend overseas and their wi-fi network is set to WPA3 security. They do not control/have access to their wi-fi access points. Can anyone help me confirm that the Onn tablets have support for WPA3? I'm trying to figure it out without have to purchase one. I was initially going to send a 2021 Fire 10 tablet, but even the newest Fire 10 model doesn't support WPA3 (I found out after buying one).

[Q] 3g available ?? saw a prog named mobile data

I know what 3g dongle is not working when insert into A500....
but, i saw a prog named Mobile data when i view all program at settings.
then i click the "Mobile data" and saw that is showing 4.00kb.
I clear the data becomes 0.00kb then i plug my E1750.
in about 2 sec time, the Mobile data is showing 4.00kb again.
it seems like it is actually able to read my E1750.
from another thread, i know after rooted and with "some" setting, it is actually able to connect to 3g network.
Thus, can i conclude that android actually allow us to use 3g dongle
but
acer block it so it can came out with a product called A501 to suck your money?
just wish to know.....

Touchwiz problems or am I dumb?

Upgrade yesterday morning and found already two problems... or maybe am I too dumb to use these devices?
Here in Europe we have 13 Wifi channels... my Galaxy now stops at 11. Where is the settings to change the regulatory setting? Before upgrading, all 13 channels were scanned and I can join my wifi network. I had to reconfigure the AP changing the port.
I have a screen larger than most of the netbook sold nowadays... but they seems to have removed the option to display website "regular" and not "mobile", or am I lost in the new interface and can't find again that option?

U.S. regulations only allow for 11 channels, I didn't know that the US Retail 3.1 had 13 available. Did you have OTA update or flash one of the ROMS?
What do you mean "regular"? Are sites being displayed in mobile version. You can try to change the UA Agent by entering about:debug in the address bar and then going to settings debug and UA. If that doesn't fix it, try the UA MOD by Doc in the Dev section.
I forget about the about:debug... so at least half dumb for now
The tablet I have was bought in the US and bring in italy just few days before Samsung starts selling the unit also in this pizza's country. I had no problem connecting to channel 13 until yesterday, then after the upgrade, my network is no more detected.

Is my wifi chip dead? No wifi or bluetooth - Fire Tablet 10 2017 Edition

Hi guys,
I have a 2017 Amazon Fire Tablet 10 (only a few weeks old) and think I've bricked it. Yesterday the wifi went off and I had to restart 3 times before it came back. When I say it went off, I mean the wifi was stuck on "turning on wifi" and no networks appeared in the list. As for the bluetooth, in the menu, I can't tap it at all; it's greyed out. If I swipe down and tap wifi, again it just says "turning on wifi", and if I go to the wifi menu from settings it won't let me even turn it on.
Yesterday while speaking to amazon, they told me to do a factory reset, now I'm stuck on the initial setup screen as it's asking me to connect to wifi to setup the device, but no networks are there. And now I've reset it, I've missed my chance to enable adb debugging to try and root or reset stock recovery.
It sounds like the chip is dead due to no bluetooth or wifi, so does anyone have ANY suggestions please? Amazon said as I'm in warranty they'd replace with a refurbished product, but I was given this as a new gift, so wanted to try and fix my new one first. Otherwise, I'll go for the refurb because the person who bought me the tablet lives a great distance away, so would be a pain to ask them to exchange the item.
Thanks in advance..
Short of putting it in the oven for a while to reflow any chip connections, it's much simpler to get an exchange. Hopefully you get an OS version you can still root

I feel like the HD 10 2017 has a very cheap wifi chip. at least 1-3 times per day wifi stops working and it takes about 3 minutes to work again, while my other devices (OnePlus 5) still work fine with the 2.4GHz band
Thanks guys. I am getting a replacement but they're letting me keep the original one so was hoping to try and refurb it, but unsure where the WiFi chip is, taken a look inside but can't identify it.

btw have you tried resetting it via adb sideload and flash a completely new firmware?

They let me keep the old one because in order to get the replacement I had to endure 4 online chats where the previous staff member passed me through to someone else without updating them so I had to repeat myself over and over. Then they called me on the phone and I spent 3 hours speaking to multiple people (again no information was passed on), and at the end of it, there was also 19 emails (literally) added to the case. I lost my whole weekend trying to sort something which should have been "your tablet is broke, we can't fix it, we'll send a replacement", so they let me keep it as a good gesture, not that I can do anything with it.
Yes I tried sideloading the latest firmwhere using adb but no change. I also got an Ethernet adapter but that didn't work (it worked on my galaxy s6 & Fire TV), but the adapter also didn't work on my new working Fire 10 tablet, so I guess that's related to the adapter not compatible with the Amazon Fire HD 10. I'm wondering whether a usb wifi adapter would work, but can't find one which seems android plug and play compatible. And if anyone knows if the wireless chip is separate or attached to the motherboard, that'd help if anyone knows?

I thought that as it didn't even work with my new tablet. I think short of replacing the WiFi chip, it's dead.

Sunday Time and otber apps now asking for passwords New HD 10 11th Gen

I have a subscription to the Times and Sunday Times which worked fine on the three fire HD 10 9th generation. One of these would not charge up so I got a new tablet, which is an HD 10 11th gen. The Times app now requires a login but the app never came with a login user id and password, and my amazon user id and password do not work either.
Other amazon users have reported this but has been no solutions given on the amazon forums. https://uk.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D56Q00009prVWhSAM/times-newspaper-app-login-problems
I do not know much about these things but I wonder if I can transfer all my Times app data from another family HD 10 (9th gen) via Toolbox and a PC to my new HD 10 (11th gen) -and it transfer my automatic login credentials to my new device.
How to do this, or solve the Times app problem welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Heather.
