Spatial Audio Upmixer
Incredibly lightweight yet effective sound fx that combines techniques of iir, fir, compressor, limiters with loudness normalization along with main component - spatialization based on source separation and binaural upmixing.
Engine supports both wired headphones & speakers, don't see why it wouldn't work on bt, but I haven't tested that. It's also one of those very rare cases when android fx seem to support up to 192khz sampling, testing on 24/192 flac proved working like a charm.
As far as I understand there is some sort of EQ that tunes itself on-the-go eliminating clipping, but I couldn't patch anything in it.
NOTE
Can't be used with JDSP!
Requirements
Magisk 20+
If using with other ainur mods/addons - need to (re)flash AML (audio modification library) from the repo to hook it up

Updated & Fixed redownload

Does it work with Bluetooth phones don't have jacks anymore at least not mine. I do have usb c to headphone adapter.

Dumb question alert, does this downmix multichannel to binaural stereo??

Well I don't notice anything on my s10 lite but I have Bluetooth and usb c adapter.

Well I said it before and I'll say it again viper4android is in a class of it's own. All the xda sound mods a just messing with equalizer settings and xml files. Viper4android actually was a sound driver. I don't why he doesn't update viper anymore but I wish he would. Developers don't get so mad and jealous he was in a league of his own. Team Dewitt is ridiculous He thinks because he contains a APK that that makes him the new developer lol. 2.3.4 driver and apk are still better

New v4a team can only update the app as they don't have the driver source code and now the profile switching is much better than ever.
Driver wise, v4a is not that good as it adds white noise while processing and limited to 48Khz. And yes you can hear difference in hires source if you have proper hardware for that.

Yes, I'm sure it's working in my Pixel 6 pro A13 ROM when listening to audio from any video or MTV or music from youtube which is supporting for Spatial audio effect by my Google earbuds.

Thank you for sharing

Gave it a shot since I haven't really added any audio mods to my Nord n10 and the effect is instantly noticable.
Increased volume, wider soundstage, and slightly clearer audio.
Downside is that on my main speakers, everything sounds a little tinny, but I think that's due to the speaker setup itself.

Why is your pre amp volume extremely low, i bet you can hardly hear anything?
The best thing to do is start with bass & treble pre set and instead of highering the bass and treble, lower the mid so bass and treble dont go past 0, and turn pre amp up if not loud enough, it helps cut out the noise from the chip. If you can try to keep limit off and adjust till you are without distortion too.

Remember guys, each brand of headphones has its own eq curve, so one setting isn't going to please everybody. A good idea would be to state your music background (audiophile/general listener), your music taste and what set of iem's / headphones you're using.

Yup, it's quite a good EQ setting for short but punchy bass. But I prefer buzzing and lengthy bass, so, to each is own!

I'm an all-out bass guy. I wouldn't even care if I hear nothing but the bass, you know.. Low pre-amp doesn't really matter to me. And your tip is quite a good one too!

Music is really quiet

Got this phone a couple of days ago, moved from the HTC One S with beats audio. I've noticed that top volume (past safe level) on this is equal to around 9/15 on the HTC. Does anybody know any apps that could increase the maximum volume, as I don't want to root quite yet.

You didn't quite get the "not rooting, not unlocking bootloader (or whatever the Samsung equivalent is, I've noticed no HBOOT)" part, did you?
As long as there's a factory image going around for this that puts the phone completely back to stock for warranty purposes, then I'll root now. With my record with phones, this will go wrong the day after I root, without doing anything else to it.
Try jetAudio, you can configure the pre-amp in the equaliser settings, plus the EQ is better than poweramp from my own experience.

There's also an app called Bass Booster, which can increase the volume as well.

Stereo X absolutely raped the bass on my headphones (BOSE MIE2) and made every song sound disgusting, from songs with little bass to songs with lots of bass. Both songs are awesome by the way. Well, now that I've bothered to root (and starting to regret it now that I've heard Triangle Away is useless at the moment) I might as well add beats audio to the phone.
I would get V4A tbh, has tons of customisation and when you get something that suits you its great. Not to mention you can boost the volume with it. FauxSound can also apply gain, I use that too.

Disabling Dolby Mono speakers from build prop fixes the volume levels for the speakers, but not entirely. SRS audio also needs to be disabled, however I haven't found a way doing this.

Project Loveness 2.0, The End of imperfection?
Any chance of making a version for Marshmallow 6.01?
the sound is really great but desire playeris giving FC on my Xperia Z5 on 6.0 when I hit play .
I tried to play some videos from gallery and the sound is fantastic
Please fix fc error .. good luck man
Any update based on project desire five?
tested on my Z5 compact and I can confirm that it is working.
few downsides though... well for a start music app isnt working any more "desire player stopped working" I dont need it any way I got Itube but still... (I also tried installing apps to replace the music app they all had bugs I dont know if its because of the mod or not)
What I am about to say I will be referring to both phone speaker and headphones/AUX connection
another down side is that speaker volume in "media volume" is too high even on the lowest level (DB) and the last 2 steps of volume just distorts the sound like hell! cant understand nothing.
I realized that the LBF (low bass frequencies are tooooo high that cause the last 2 steps of level to distort a lot because non bassy songs at the highest volume arent that bad actually)
yet the HBF (high bass frequencies) is way too low its like if a song has 2 bass tones one high and one low the low one shakes my car when connected via AUX and the high one I can barely hear it with my ears
mids and highs are quite good and crisp
but yet again why install a mod that you have to give up on the last 2 steps of level to hear it "as good" its not the best though you can just stay on the original sound quality and put it on maximum and its almost as high as this mod without the last 2 levels.
quick review or long lol what ever I am just a tester, I am not saying this mod is bad its better than any other mod for our Z5C that I have tried actually if any one has any idea on how I can higher my Z5C volume level (at least in headset) I would thank you so much
and how do I uninstall this mod?

Usonic earbuds: Could they work with other phones?

I love the idea of the HTC U's new Usonic earbuds. Unfortunately, while the second screen is pretty badass, it's not enough to justify upgrading from my HTC 10 (running Nougat, Magisk and Viper10 so sexy) which has USB-c like the U Ultra. I'm curious if the 'ear scanning' feature that HTC is bragging about for their new earbuds would work out-of-the-box on other HTC phones running nougat and the latest version of Sense?
If it doesn't I have no doubt that someone will get it working later down the line, but that's not the question. The question is if the Usonic earbuds would work on a US HTC 10 out of the box? Anyone had a chance to test this?

Great Suggestion! Do you know the name of the program? i'v looked but can't seem to find it.
That's not it, I've installed this app(it's name is HTC adaptive sound, you can download it from apkmirror) and still nothing. Supporting for USonic earbuds is locked in system, it's an exclusive feature for U series. I have an answer from HTC in this case, they don't deny but I don't think they implement this in future updates.

Worked fine on a friend Moto Z
no Usonic feature, but works like a normal phones.
I know it's an old thread. HTC 10 received oreo update which has inbuilt feature to Scan usonic earphones for customized profiles. Did anyone tried usonic earphones with HTC 10? Is that active noice cancellation actually works?
Well, i tried my earphones with the HTC U11 and I was surprised to find out that the sound is actually way louder than on my U Ultra.

They do sound fantastic.
I think they're slightly better than my Sennheiser momentum M2 earphones using the adapter
Very impressed
iknow its an old thread already..base on the thread it was tested on Pixel XL,s8+ and htc 10..the reason it didnt work is there is a 3.5mm jack on all the phones mentioned..the one that it worked fine in this thread is a moto Z which doesnt have a 3.5mm jack..meaning all the said phones didnt work is there is no chip or parts in the charging port for an audio connector..so it wont work on that..because it has its own headset port..
I have successfully used HTC Usonic headphones on my Huawei Mate 10pro.
They simply work like regular headphones with this phone - now ear canal scanning or noise reduction, however they have quite good sound quality and are quite loud.
The only only flaw that I have found is that sometimes when you press button on them many times the sound becomes strange and distorted, however it can be quickly solved by unplugging and plugging them again.

Soooo... I see the OP from XtremeMusic and various other bits and pieces from every other popular audio mod, what features have you specifically worked on that have not been seen or done before? What are you doing differently that makes this original and beats the other mods?

No.
Normally I wouldn't want to be rude to a developer doing their thing, but "just try it" doesn't do much to give anyone a reason to try it.
"I Cherry picked a bunch of stuff that's been proven not to work on certain devices.
Beats doesn't do much.
Srs doesn't do much.
Sound alive is just like the Xperia additions, they need specific frameworks to do their thing.

Have to agree on this one. I've seen most of these mods in the wild, but I can vouch (based on audio quality) that whatever he did with them, it's worth a 'just try it'. Largest concern here is unnecessary and unused bloat libs.
Works fine on a rooted Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G903F 6.0 great work :good:

You can't generally expect an Uninstaller with that kind of mods and the 'give it a try' is intended for those wise flashoholic who always take the precaution to make a backup first hand. At least have a backup of your system partition before proceeding further that's a sound habit when testing mods.
