Were you able to find the tool? I may have just thing if you havent'. Please let me know either way,
I have a question: is there an official or unofficial version of of TWRP for this phone yet? Or would possibly one of the versions for the OnePlus 7T Pro work?
I know you can root a phone without a custom recovery, but I've never attempted it. I think having a custom recovery is invaluable. Any bits of knowledge would be appreciated.

If your phone is the k30 pro then this comes with the China rom, if you flash the global rom you will get the Poco branding. Since the global and eea is Poco this flashes this rom, however both can be flashed on each region.
If you want similar features to global but on your k30 pro then Xiaomi.eu would be a good choice, it's based on China rom but has no Chinese bloatware.
