The steps of "Hydrogen OS flashing to ColorOS" and "ColorOS flashing to Hydrogen OS" are the same. Please note that the flashing package should not be confused with the flashing package. Before flashing, you need to install the driver before you can flash. The following is the driver installation package:

1. Driver installation tutorial 1. After decompressing the security package, double-click to run Setup.exe;

4. Click Next on the current interface to enter the next step
5. Please make sure that H2 is selected by default for the options in the figure below, do not change
6. Click Start to start running
7. Connect one end of the original data cable to the computer, and then simultaneously press and hold the phone volume plus and minus buttons (do not release the button until step 8), and connect the data cable to the phone.

After about 5 seconds, you can release the volume button until the message that the file is downloaded is displayed, wait for the phone to restart and the OnePlus Logo appears, and then you can successfully flash to ColorOS.
Note: The flashing process may last about ten minutes. Do not use your mobile phone or computer during the flashing process. If an unexpected situation occurs during the flashing process and the flashing is interrupted, please press and hold the phone volume plus key and the power button to force restart the device until it automatically shuts down. Click the STOP flashing tool and start step 6 again.
3. ColorOS flashing back to hydrogen OS tutorial The
following is the flashing package link for flashing back to hydrogen OS from ColorOS. Refueling can follow the same flashing steps above to flash back to hydrogen OS.

Will there be a possibility to install coloros on 8 Pro European version?

Where is the coloros for oneplus 8 pro ?

How is it for anyone who flashed it already? Does it have full language options or just en/cn? Is it as fast and smooth as OOS? Are You lacking any features from OOS? I'm waiting for 8pro version, but I'm curious if it'll be worth switching in future. I'm bored of OOS as of now.

please help me out , it pops up with this notification

Actually it can be installed on the global op8pro but has these issues first one is it changes the model number to in2020 2nd issue is theme store is in Chinese no way to change it number 1 major issue is it will not work with usa sim cards like Verizon, it's 3 times more stable than oos but the issues above need to be fixed. Words to the dev who ported this if you are going to port something make sure it works for all devices but you should have taken the time to make it for global devices only fix all these issues and it will be good if you can't you need to remove this from xda are change title to it only works on Chinese models

Can it be installed on the T-Mobile switched to Global?

IF YOU ARE BUYING A CHINESE STOCK VARIANT, YOU CAN FLASH VIA CABLE BY THE GUIDE.
HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE BUYING AN INTERNATIONAL VARIANT, THE OEM LOCK CAN NOT BE UNLOCKED AT MOMENT.

Man you need to refer to the chinese forums! They have everything in there!
Just activate the translation (in case you're not chinese) and try to find a way to do so!

Thanks alot for you guys to helping me . now everything work as expected i can install playstore and add multi languages for keyboard.
all the apps install from playstore working fine. i myself quite like ZUI rom. its almost everything better than CM for now. especially ZUI version will soon update to Android 6.0
and everyone that got a problem with stock camera on CM version eg. video recorder is terrible and photo quality. it's not appear on ZUI ROM.
worth to try.
Thanks
I gotta agree with you!
I tried ZUI for less than 6 hours and flashed to cyanogen directly! ZUI had english and google apps out of the box for me!
However I did find ZUI very nice, very clean, very fast and seems stable!
Besides you get full U-Touch button functionality!
However I moved to the more traditional CM because I'm used to it and no chinese bloatware!
I hope CM improve more and add missing functionality!
Is it possible to flash back to CyanogenOS ?

I have the international version of the phone with CM 12.1-YOG4PAS60J Android 5.1.1, I am facing issues with the phone freezing during making calls and I have to reboot the phone several times! I would like to give ZUI a try
My only question is: I am assuming that I can use ZUI in full English and if I want to go back to the international version I could do so fairly easy without root (or at least unroot the device and back to normal to receive CM updates) any idea?

i can confimmed that you can use full english. but not sure how easy OR hard when you want to go back to use CM. i think it is the same way as you flash the ROM to ZUI version.
also ZUI now updated to Android 6.0.1 and more stable. worth to try.

[Guide] How to ROOT + TWRP + Install Nougat on Canadian LG D852

*** Important: Your Warranty Is now Void. Always take a Nandroid backup. I am not responsible if you damage your phone or lose any data***
Hello everyone. I created this guide for the Canadian D852 since I didn’t find anything that was straight forward. Credit goes to all the developers who made it possible for us to keep using our beloved LG G3.
This is my first attempt to create and share a guide. I hope it will be useful to other users. If you find any error or have suggestions, please send me a message.
Download all the files before you begin. Do not forget to copy your ROM and GAPPS to your SDCARD before you install TWRP.
Go back to Lollipop using LGUP **Always use USB 2 port. It won't work with USB3**:
Download your kdz (d85220… not d85230). I downloaded mine from:
https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-d852-firmwares/
Follow these instructions (works with D852 don’t worry):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64624353&postcount=3
Choose the kdz from your provider. For example, I have an unlocked Fido phone but I want to use it with Bell. So I used the Bell 20k KDZ.
When selecting a file to flash, type *.* and press Enter in the filename for your .kdz to show up. If you do not, it will only show .tot.

}
Root your phone using this method:
Enable ADB debugging.
Unplug usb cable.
Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information and tap build number until you are presented with "You are now a developer".
Back to Settings screen.
In Developer Options, enable USB Debugging.
Connect usb cable.
Click OK when asked to allow USB debugging in android.
I use the root.bat method. If it doesn’t work go back to step 1 and try again.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197
Install TWRP using Autorec:
Copy the rom and GAPPS to your SDCARD before you install TWRP.
Download the file from here:
https://mega.nz/#F!rtI1naZT!LJIKUVpv8fYjrvhpykA4_A!2o433RBZ
Transfer the file to you internal or external SD card.
Head in to Settings -> General -> Security, then scroll down until you see Unknown sources. Tick the checkbox, then hit OK on the next prompt.
Install APK via the file manager.
Open App.
Grant root access.
Wait a few seconds while it does some backup.
Wait for prompt to say that it is ready to flash.
Click the button to Flash TWRP.
Wait for it to be done.
Phone will reboot into TWRP
Update TWRP to the latest version if you want.
Download and install Nougat rom. Tested with CrDroid v3.6 and open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-crdroid-t2955012
http://opengapps.org/
**I’m not sure if it’s necessary but I did it anyway** Flash Dene Hybrid Baseband via TWRP (don’t forget to wipe cache and dalvik after) if necessary (mobile data is unstable etc…).
https://mega.nz/#F!rtI1naZT!LJIKUVpv8fYjrvhpykA4_A!2tJFBLLK
Source: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/canadian-d852-stock-bumped-rooted-rom-t3056843
That’s it! Enjoy Android Nougat!
N.B. That is the only way I was able to get a stable mobile data connection. Only flashing baseband did not work for me.
Thanks, barguin, for a very informative thread.
How is the battery life on this Nougat ROM? I will be switching from Fulmics MM, and my provider is Fido.
Battery is very good. I can do a full day easyly.
Regards!
@barguin: thanks for the quick response. Did you try Exposed for Nougat? I know that Exposed is frowned upon in the CrDroid thread, but there are a couple of modules I would like to try. Thanks.
I do not use exposed...sorry.
Thx

Personally I had some problems with lg flash tool.
There is no need to enter download mode! LGUP will do it for you.
I read the heading in this thread and it said something about not downloading the D85230 file .. and my phone is D8530g as shown in the screenshot .. so is the D85220 file gonna damage my phone .... Sorry for the newbie question !
Sent from my LG-D852 using XDA Free mobile app
The D85220 file will not damage your phone. Instead, that file will install an older Android version on your phone, namely Lollipop (this step is required to gain root). You are currently on Android Marshmallow, and you will end up with Android Nougat if you complete all steps correctly. The procedure is meant to work like this, one step back, two steps forward.
The "20" or "30" in the file names (on that website hosting KDZs) have the following meaning:
"20" = it's a Lollipop file
"30" = it's a Marshmallow file
"40" = it's a Nougat file (I can only wish, there is no such Nougat file).
But seriously, the procedure requires more than a modicum of familiarity with flashing and with using various pieces of software. There is potential for bricking your phone.
No offense, but, judging from your question, I would suggest that you should enlist the help of a friend who is a bit more knowledgeable on this topic.
Guys .. Can I use the ROM on D855?! If not, so how to flash the ROM without getting any issues?!!
Thanks.
Do not flash the rom on the D855 it's only for the canadian variant.
Did this on my d852 and it's stuck booting on Oreo, Nougat, and stock Lollipop. Happened after I installed TWRP, any fixes?
edit: i think it was the roms.. got 3 bad ones i guess lol. fulmics worked.
Just an FYI, I followed the LGUP instruction for my Bell D852 but it was soft bricked, doing the flash using "refurbish" instead of "upgrade" did it for me and I was able to finish rooting my device!
How to root symphony i60.... please reply me
my phone no sound
I do not hear sound from my phone after installing CRDroid. the programs are working. YouTube is opening but I can not hear the sound of the media being played.
I do not hear the sound of the media played when I plug in the phone.
please help me.
Thanks alot man, this was super handy!
Edit: Seems I've got that problem where shutting the phone off bugs it and it won't turn back on unless you remove the battery and put it back in. It also resets the time. Kind of annoying. Seems to happen to some D852s after installing TWRP.

Method #1: Using Updater App
This method will only work if you have a previous MIUI stable version installed on the device. If you have a developer version, custom ROM, or TWRP installed then look forward to the methods below this one.
Start by downloading the MIUI 9 Stable ROM for Mi 5, 5s, and 5s Plus:
Mi 5: miui_MI5Global_V9.1.1.0.NAAMIEI_c91be5fdc5_7.0.zip
Mi 5s: miui_MI5SGlobal_V9.1.1.0.NAGMIEI_3e22d133b8_7.0.zip
Mi 5s Plus: miui_MI5SPlusGlobal_V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI_425a5cf0ce_7.0.zip
Connect your Mi device to the PC and transfer the recovery ROM package to the internal storage.
Open the ‘Updater’ app from your device’s homescreen.
When the Updater app opens up, tap on the 3-dot overflow button on the top-right to open the menu.
Then select the ‘Choose update package’ option.
Now, browse through the internal storage and select the recovery ROM zip file (e.g. miui_MI5SGlobal_V9.1.1.0.NAGMIEI_3e22d133b8_7.0.zip).
Once selected press on ‘Ok’ to start the process and install MIUI 9 Stable ROM on Xiaomi Mi 5, 5s, and 5s Plus.
When the installation process is complete, the device will automatically reboot into the update MIUI 9 OS.
Method #2: Using MiFlash Tool
Now, if your Mi 5 device is running on Global/Developer/China ROM, then you can use this method to install the update using MiFlash tool. Before you head to the instructions to install MIUI 9 Stable ROM on Xiaomi Mi 5 devices, make sure to download and install the MiFlash tool on your PC.
Download the Fastboot ROM zip for your device:
Mi 5: gemini_global_images_V9.1.1.0.NAAMIEI_20171104.0000.00_7.0_global_e9972aa98e.tgz
Mi 5s: capricorn_global_images_V9.1.1.0.NAGMIEI_20171107.0000.00_7.0_global_3de38a062f.tgz
Mi 5s Plus: natrium_global_images_V9.1.1.0.NBGMIEI_20171106.0000.00_7.0_global_b89c33a95f.tgz
Boot your Mi 5 device into Fastboot mode:
Power off your phone completely.
Press and hold the Volume Down + Power button simultaneously to boot into Fastboot mode.
Now, connect your Mi 5 to the PC and launch the MiFlash tool.
Click the ‘refresh’ button in the MiFlash window to make sure that the device is being recognized properly.
Extract the downloaded Fastboot ROM (.tgz) file to an easily accessible location on your PC.
In the MiFlash window, click on the ‘select’ button and select the folder where the files have been extracted. For example, we have extracted our ROM to C:\MIUI\ROM.
Now, click the ‘flash’ button to install MIUI 9 Stable ROM on Xiaomi Mi 5/5s/5s Plus.
The flashing process should be complete in a few minutes. During this time, make sure to leave the PC and the device undisturbed to avoid any problems.
Once done, the device will automatically reboot. You can disconnect the phone now and close the MiFlash tool. Now, go through the on-screen instructions to set up the device.
Method #3: Using TWRP Recovery
If your Mi device has TWRP recovery installed on it, you can simply use it to flash the Recovery ROM zip to install MIUI 9 Stable ROM on Xiaomi Mi 5, 5s and 5s Plus.
Download the Recovery ROM zip for your device (listed in Method #1).
Connect your Mi 5 device to the PC and copy the file to the internal storage.
Disconnect the device and power it off.
Now, boot into TWRP recovery:
Press and hold the Volume Up + Power button until you see the Mi logo on the screen.
Then, release the Power button and keep on holding the Volume key until you see TWRP recovery mode.
Once in TWRP, go to ‘Wipe’ -> ‘Advanced Wipe’ and select the following options:
Dalvik / ART Cache
System
Data
Cache
Now, swipe the ‘Swipe to Wipe’ button to erase the current ROM.
Go back to the TWRP main-screen and press the ‘Install’ button.
Browse the storage and select the Recovery ROM zip (e.g. miui_MI5SGlobal_V9.1.1.0.NAGMIEI_3e22d133b8_7.0.zip).
Swipe the ‘Swipe to confirm Flash’ button to install MIUI 9 Stable ROM on Xiaomi Mi 5/5s/5s Plus.
Once the flashing process is complete, tap the ‘Reboot System’ button.
Your Mi phone will now boot into the updated MIUI 9 firmware. Go through the initial setup and enjoy the new features on your device now.

What about the second method? I always get "cant verify update" with the first one. Thanks!
Hmm the thread in miui forum got deleted, I wonder what that's supposed to mean. The rom also doesn't appear in the download section. Personally I haven't encountered any problems so far.

Not first and not last time they release something and then delete thread about it. I wonder why they always leave links to files alive.

If you pick in lower right corner "save user data" you should save your apps and data. But I'm not 100% sure about it.
I'm on the official beta global rom for Mi5s.Will that update to official global when Mi release it ?
how is smoothnes on global rom? i tried to go from lineageOS to miui 9, but everthing was so slugish and not smooth as on lineage.. does anybody else has that impression?

I bet it is slower than LineageOS, everything is slower than LineageOS. You can't compare clean android to any other big company build of android.
Smooth

Updated a few days ago from XiaomiEU 8.5.6.0. ROM is smooth, no lags at all.
Seems faster than MIUI8, but maybe it's just my impression
It should be faster (from the feeling), it was one of the main targets of MIUI9.
Sadly it is now removed for the MI 5s, until they have fixed some found bugs
Hello guys...if i want to use method 1 did i need to unlock bootloader first? If direct update can?
For variant 1 it's not needed. I suggest to wait though, as Xiaomi removed this update, because of bugs.

Wonderful news this ROM is. Would you be kind to post some screenshots, more details etc... Is it only for the model you have written on the thread or it could be flashed to other P9+ models? I own VIE-L29C185.
Either way thank you for your effort.
Video or image? Good work
Works great. The only issue i have is that Snapchat isnt working anymore. How can i solve this?
Solved: hide via magisk!

Deleted some apps and changed structure on screen. Updated most apps to actual version.
- Fingerprint sensor does not work (back to previous screen)
- Developer options does not work (I cannot enter to enable USB debugging or allow unknown applications)
- Advanced settings does not work either (I cannot allow connection to Hisuite for restore / backup)
- PIN for unlock screen not work, forced close settings. A security bug or error?
- Bluetooth not work
- Impossible to uninstall anything, crash and soft reboot
Solved (parcially)
An error during installation not installing /cust and other things.
Only bluetooth, NFC and notepad, calculator and other apps installation errors persists.
@NandoHerrera tell me what you did before flashing. Maybe i can Change the script in Next build.
Hi, i wan't to go back to stock rom. But if i try to install via sdcard, i get the error, that the firmware is up to date and it don't want to install. I think the problem is the build-number. How can i fix this problem?
Works great... just asking in advance, if I want to go back to original stock rom, can I just do the dload folder with update.app and press all 3 side buttons to flash back? Thank you

Thanks again. I was playing around with eRecovery before this and but I never got it to work. It will connect to the house wifi but never did managed to download or restore. Using mobile data is the same. Nothing gets done.
Btw, with P9 Plus VIE-L29, when we use update.app, do we put the dload folder on the external sd card or on the phone's internal memory???
Currently everything works great. Definitely increased in sound volume. With the original rom, i always have the volume at 80-90%. With your rom, I have to set it to 40-50% or else it is too loud for my environment. Loving it so far...

eRecovery is working on European brands only with changing DNS in Router and register the exact Firmware.
dload isn't working with FullOTA-MF, as @dkionline mentioned.
For going back to Stock Firmware (for some reason in the future) you can use for VIE this method:

About Team Win Recovery Project
Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or TWRP3.x for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface so no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Working:
Boots
Restore function works
Backup works
Flashing works
Wiping works
Changing the settings works
Current Bugs [will hopefully be resolved soon]:

Installation Instructions:
There are two methods for the installation:
1: Flashing directly via ODIN.
2: Flashing from existing TWRP or PitchBlack Recovery Project.
Method one:
[MAKE SURE YOU HAVE OEM UNLOCK AND USB DEBUGGING ENABLED]
1: Download the tar file from my Github (link will be given below).
2: Put your Samsung device into Download Mode.
3: After doing that, open ODIN v3.10.7 inside of your PC.
4: Click on AP, and locate to the place where you have saved the TWRP tar file.
5: After doing that, connect your phone to the PC and hit START.
6: The phone should automatically reboot. Then turn it off again and reboot to recovery. Done!
Method two:
1: Download the img file and reboot to recovery of your choice.
2: Select "Install".
3: Press "Install Image".
4: Then search for the place where you saved the img.
5: Flash it and reboot to recovery again. Done!

Number 1: I don't port custom recoveries. I take my time to compile everything from source with my own tree (because ported TWRP laggy).
Number 2: I'm not listening to you. If you don't appreciate what a 13 year old does, I will just cancel my order of a Hard Disk that I bought specifically for compiling Android Oreo (and save my money)
Number 3: I have already fixed the touch problem, I forgot to put it in the thread. But because of people like you, I won't put it in ever again (Proof: https://mega.nz/file/NcRiHLbB#ly9jT1CPtign_-Di_Eq6ieRYljq-mn09TJm_fKPnEtw ).
Number 4: This phone WILL NOT run android 9, 10, 11 and even if it does, I won't release it because they will be unstable as ****
Na na na nullcode bro we appreciate your work hope u make android soon and amaze to know u are 13 yo and what does mtp means
And pls put touch fix bcz u can't keep it hidden due to some people who doesn't do anything rather than demotivating others
Touch Lag fix:Warning: This method is extremely dangerous because it has a 70% chance of trashing your Touch Screen. I bricked my touch screen panel after doing this (Display works, but the touch does not function). But after you get the display replaced, everything including TWRP works like a charm. However, there have been some cases where the touch screen does not die, and the users' phones were untouched. So, try at your own risk
Step 1: Flash full stock ROM through ODINStep 2: After flashing, setup your phone as quick as possibleStep 3: After doing this, go to the phone appStep 4: Type *#2663#[WARNING: NO GOING BACK AFTER YOU DO THIS. DON'T BLAME ME IF SOMETHING HAPPENS]Step 5: Press TSP Firmware Update (General)Step 6: DO NOT do anything, until it says "PASS"Step 7: Now, reboot your device.(If your touch screen works, WONDERFUL. Now try going to recovery mode to see if the bug is fixed)# This is only for if your TWRP touch screen still doesn't workStep 8: Go back to *#2663#Step 9: Press "TSP Softkey Update" or something (GUARANTEED DEATH)Step 10: After it says PASS, remove the battery from the phone and turn it back onStep 11: Your touchscreen should now be dead. Go to your nearest service center and get it replaced. After doing this, your touch screen inside TWRP will be fully functional. If you want poof, go to this website:

MTP means Media Transfer Protocol; it's basically an easier way to transfer files between your phone and your computer
