How to safely root Galaxy S8? - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

I've rooted a few devices using rootjunky but they tripped Knox (didn't care) and with this S8 I have, not really concerned to trip it as well, but keeping it intact would be a bonus. Is there a way to root this S8 (Sprint version but unlocked for any SIM card)?
It's a SM-G950U with Android 8 (ver. G950USQU5CRK1).

What method to root 900A?

I recently purchased the 900A for ATT. I know rooting will trip KNOX but I am not to concerned over that. What I am concerned about is all the different flavors of this phone and root methods. I have not seen the 900A specifically listed in any of the root methods so my question is simple.
Can the 900A be rooted right now, and if so what method works?

[Q] Can I use the G950FD (Exynos S8) on Cricket? And root?

Hi,
Sorry for what is probably a simple question, but any help will be appreciated.
I am just about ready to upgrade from my OnePlus One. I haven't had a Samsung phone for years and don't understand how knox, and the international Exynos versions work.
Can I buy an Exynos S8 version G950FD from ebay and use it with Cricket and my regular SIM card? If so, can the phone be rooted and a new recovery and ROM installed?
I think I would forfeit the warranty if I did this but is there anything else that I would lose? What reason would there be to not do this? It seems like this would work better than the carrier unlocked US version. Are there any flags I should look for when selecting a seller?
Thank you for your help!
Yes and yes, the fd will work on cricket(att) and you can root it and install twrp. Warranty is all you lose, android/samsung pay might not work but i think there are workarounds.

Is it possible to root G930P running G930PVPU6BRD2?

I just "upgraded" from an S5 to an S7 that I bought on Ebay running G930PVPU6BRD2. Coming from an S5, I just assumed (before I bought the S7) that the S7 could be rooted, but based on my web research, it seems impossible. Before I give up and live my life unrooted for the first time ever, I just want to confirm... Can I root my S7?

Bootloader is locked down tight.
method was found to root using 'engineering bootload'. This method yeilds limited root. No custom roms.
Sprint started updating bootloader separately of other carriers AND e-fused the bootloader so engineer bootloader no longer work on Sprint variant.
The digit '6' in G930PVPU'6'BRD2 isbthe bootloader version identifier. No going backward, e-fused.
Kaptain: Thank you for that excellent explanation.

Spoof Samsung Knox Warranty Void and Unlocked Bootloader?

Is there any way I could make apps not see that my Samsung Knox Warranty Void bit is set or that the bootloader is unlocked?
I am using hadesRom 3.0 on a Samsung S8 G950F and even though I am not using root, some of my banking apps say that I am and do not work anymore. I suspect they see either the Knox Warranty bit being set or that the bootloader is unlocked.
