Tempered glass without actual holenon it - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Accessories

Just bought 10plus... any tempered glass without a hole in market? I dont care for finger print reader... if anyone got a good tempered glass kindly post link.. thank you so much.

Double posting please delete, my bad.. thanks

I feel you.
I've had the same issues with urethane etc ones as well.
The reason they're like that is because it will cause optical issues with the front cam.
I don't care about selfies so some refraction, cmos reflections etc don't concern me.
At the end of the day finding the best screen protector that fills your needs is more important than that bloody cam hole.
If you can find one without sacrificing other needed parameters, fine. If not don't sweat it as the hole causes little trouble normally in well design protective cover.
The wet apply Gorilla IQ Shield has one and even on this 6 month old screen protector it's adhering perfectly around said hole.
It's time to replace it now and the hole was no issue at all in my case.

Been an alinsea tempered glass fan, for they have been good and great price. Puppy knocked onto floor so need a new one. Kinda changed search words for protector and have found Akcoo screen protector. Getting about same reviews as alinsea. Someone always has to degrade. Guess I will find out and let ya know.

So 3 screens. No hole camera cutouts no fingerprint locations. You are thinking...junk. I have posted pictures after on. Review...Love It No camera holes no fingerprint set area and nice side to side edge meet screen Most screens once hole set to camera you have a gap between screen and phone case. Not now. Once on, set, fits nice. Was paying 9.99 for one. Now you get 3 clear screens and all accessories. 16.99. No complaints. If you don't here from me. No problems. Watch video and cover plus lightly push fingerprint area while using light. Fingerprint works phenomenal!

Solution to prevent SGS camera lense from getting finger prints and dirt

Not sure about you.
But i find my self always sticking my finger right into the camera lense, and it's always hard to keep clean
specially when you are eating with your hands then you do something on the phone and that oily residue is hard to get out without a good wipe.
the problem is i find i spend a lot of time trying to clean it.
So i was wondering if anyone got a good idea to put some sort of screen protector for the camera lense
i was thinking probably i'll cut a small piece of the screen protector and put it on top, since i got many to spare
also i got a few very nice one with mirror coating
problem is... not sure if the mirror coating ones will make the picture less sharp as it reflects back the light
right now the camera is taking very nice a vivid pictures as well as recording, and i wouldn't want a screen/lense protector to cut down the resolution & light input when taking pictures and making videos
specially for night mode photo shots
Food fingers will also be an issue with a screen protector. Unless you use a anti glare one which will most likely degrade the image. You best bet is a case or backing that recesses the camera preventing you from touching it.
it's really hard to avoid touching the camera, and you're right, a screen protector might deteriorate the image quality.
what i've been doing, same with phones i've previously had, is carry a small piece of micro fibre cloth in my wallet. that way, i can make sure my lense is clean.

i do have that, problem is, oily residue is hard to remove with the micro fibre cloth
it just smudges it around, the only way to take it out is to go to the washroom get a tiny bit of soap (or wet cloth tissue, like the ones you can get from KFC) and clean it with the micro fibre cloth
I never took the protector off that comes with the phone.
It was quite funny. The screen protector I bought came with a protector for the camera lens but no matter what I couldn't get it on.... I discovered that the camera came with a protector already on it, lol.
this would probably be your best bet. it's an oleophobic (supposedly oil repelling) screen protector that includes 3 extra pieces for the camera lense as well.

Just use your thumb.
1. Don't eat greasy food, it's bad for you--bad for your smartphone, too.
2. Use a fork instead of your fingers.
3. Barring those smart-alecky suggestions , perhaps there's an opportunity for someone to develop a sexy after-market back for the SGS--one which makes for easier battery changing and has a sliding window over the camera lens. Does something like that already exist?
If you get a Martin Fields screen protector it usually comes with a additional cut out protector for the camera lens. It's pricey though, but the film is good quality and you don't get any bubbles.

xoskins and xtreme guard screen protectors

Hiya guys,
I was just wondering if anyone else has either used xoskins or xtreme guard protectors and been left feeling disappointed? I originally had an SGP ultra on my nexus 4 but I was feeling a little annoyed that it didn't cover the full screen. Other than that they're perfect, nice screen hardness difficult to scratch and leave the screen looking amazing. I really thought the xoskins one would be perfect so I paid the price and ordered (shipped from US to UK).
Finally arrived, installed straight away. Let me just say I've fitted lots of screen protectors before to various phones and I'm pretty good at it. So much so friends and family ask me to do theirs for them. Still, the xoskins one felt a little fiddly. The solution they provide makes it very slippy, so using the squigy afterwards made it squirm around which was annoying. Also, even though both sides were wet the squigy still left slight burns after only 3-4 swipes. It took a full 48 hours for it to dry.
The cut on the protector was good, and it was nice and clear. It seemed to leave a slight orange peel effect across the screen though, and I had 4-5 thin rainbow type lines/scratches about 1cm long on the one side which were clearly on the underside of the protector (all perfectly straight and all facing down perfectly so I'm thinking manufacturing fault?). The feel of the protector was frankly awful. It flexes under finger and restricted swiping somewhat. Worst of all, any slight knock leaves imprints. I tested it by lightly rubbing my nail across it, it left a clear mark that was there for 2-3 days! It flexes way more than I'd like, I can't see it providing much protection from knocks tbh. Granted I wouldn't do this in normal usage but any other knocks left imprints too.
So I removed it, and thought I'd try the xtreme guard. My god, I've never used such a rubbish protector. The cut is dubious at best, the screen clearly looks worse when its on and it suffers from the same indentations and flexing as the xoskins ones.
Maybe I've been spoilt by the SGP ones (I still have the back protector SGP skin on there as its a perfect fit as its flat) or maybe all wet application protectors are like this to be more flexible for the curved glass?
Either way I've ordered another set of SGP protectors and I'll put up with the exposed edges. I'm sure there's people out there that are happy with their protectors, but I just wanted to share my experiences.
Wet applied screen protector can never compete with the dry one..even the $1 junk one.
I took off my Xtremeguard and using the junk that came with my nillkin case..which is still much clearer than the xtremeguard.
But I keep the back of xtreme since it make it less slippery.
Glad its not just me who found this then I can see how having a *stickier* back protector could be beneficial. The SGP one I have is still rather slippy. Hoping it will help strengthen the back though in case it has any accidents The SGP ones saved my iPhone 4 before. One was a drop from my ear onto a wooden floor!
It's nice to read that I am not the only one who dislike the Xtreme guard screen protectors.
I just cant believe how sticky it feels and how much it gets scratches and dents.
I've got a fillkin flip case comming my way as well so I think I'm also going to replace the front xtreme guard screen protecotr with the nillkin one.
One thing to keep in mind for all wet protectors is that when you need to push out the bubbles, never used a squeegee. It is very difficult to avoid burns on the surface with a squeegee. Instead wet your finger tips and push the bubbles out with your finger. Much easier and doesn't leave burn marks.
If you absolutely need to use a squeegee, the paper one provided by SGP (ironically) is pretty good for wet protectors. Use the corner as much as possible and don't push too hard.
I myself prefer dry protectors as well but there are indeed some good things about wet ones. They are very scratch resistant, provide more grip, and doesn't show finger prints as much.
The xo skin i have is trash the front has so many random Knicks and bubbles and stuff the back does too but I'm going to leave that on and just use these 3 for $5 screen protectors from amazon until the glass protector comes out with reviews

I am using the XG and granted it has it's orange peel look to it, but I don't mind it. The look reminds me that I have a sp on and I can safely put the phone in my Seidio holster without looking. LOL.
Yes, the screen looks way better with a dry sp on, but I am happy with the cutouts and fitment. And plus doesn't affect the Diztronic Ultra hard case at all when taking off or putting on. Which is good IMO.
Am I 100% happy? No, I say maybe 96%. But for the price of 3 front and backs for 6 bux. I can't really complain too much.
Xtreme Guard are excellent. You just need to take your time applying it and pushing out the bubbles. Minimal orange peel and the protection is perfect around the curved edges.
After having mine on for nearly a week i'd still disagree. I have no bubbles or marks on the xg but it does have the black spots issue I've read about which suck! The cuts off on mine everything is aligned perfectly with screen edges but 1/4 of the camera lens is covered. Honestly its not how I fitted it. The feel is also pretty bad. I genuinely cannot wait until I get my new SGP ones.
Xoskins replied to my email about 4-5 days after I showed photos of the defects. They are sending me out a new protector at least. Will probably sell it on eBay to claw back some cash.
I'm not going to bother emailing xg as they're cheap and tbh I won't be going near their protectors again!

The problem I had with XO Skins was that the protector for the back of my n4 had a little pin hole in it! Luckily they are replacing it free of charge, including shipping! Which is good cause I'm in the UK and did not want to pay to send it back to the US.
The protector for the screen however has been brilliant, I've had it for about two weeks on there and the sort of rubbery feeling goes away and it feels very similar to the glass on touch. If a little more squishy. It does not drag against my finger anymore.
As for bumps leaving marks, I've noticed that, but they always go away within about thirty seconds.
All the bubbles have disappeared on my screen and its very clear.
I definitely agree with the OP about the application process though, the solution makes it very slippery, which is good when trying to position the skin. But when using the squeegee to push out the air bubbles and liquid the skin moved everywhere. After that though, it dried family quickly, did leave it overnight anyway.
I'd say I'm pretty pleased with my XO Skins purchase.

Why not? I'm talking about the front facing camera not on the rear. My SGP ones arrived this morning so the xg one was ripped off almost straight away so unfortunately I can't take you a photo to show you.
The cut was definitely off, there was some extra material right in the dip of the cut out that goes around the lens as if it hadn't been cut cleanly. The dip wasn't rounded like it should of been. Maybe I just got a bad one in this respect, but it shows there is very little quality control. Especially as mine also suffered from the same black spots I've seen elsewhere.
The bottom of the protector was literally up against the chrome rim, I couldn't of positioned it any lower so it wasn't due to bad positioning. It was just poorly made.
I've just ordered a Nillkin case which will hopefully help protect the bits of glass the SGP ones miss. The feel and screen clarity is so much nicer!
Well, xoskins replacement arrived today. It had been put into an envelope that has a bright blue lining and the edges of the protector now have a lovely blue haze. Great! It didn't even have a piece of card in to stop bending etc. so lucky it survived at all.
Not even worth trying to sell it, If I purchased one off ebay myself and it had this haze I'd be gutted. Really disappointed with them.
I did notice they seem to of changed the design too. My previous xoskins one had a U shaped cut out for both the front camera and the proximity sensor. This new replacement has O shaped holes for both so that there is something actually protecting the top edge all the way along.
That sounds like your first one was a case fit and your new one is a full skin. When I got a replacement it came sealed in a baggy, crazy. I would hit them up again.

The first one I had definitely went right up to the chrome edges on every part other than the top by the proximity sensor and camera where there was a U shape.
I'll drop them another email and see what happens. They can only say no.
Well, what can I say? I'm using the xg for the front and for the back of my nexus 4 and I'm very pleased with it. I have them on for about 2 weeks now and everything is well..
The cut of the xg protector is one of the best out there. In my past galaxy nexus I used a clear screen protector and every 2 months I had to change it with a new one because of the dust that got under it... Causing to many bubbles.
That's not the case with the xg protector. This thing is not going anywhere.. And I also use it with the official LG bumper case with no problems..
I'll try to upload some pictures for you to see.. The only disadvantage is that the feel of the xg protector is worst from other clear screen protectors, using the dry install method.

Extreme solution for screen protectors with curved screen

DISCLAIMER: TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Supplies: Fresh screen film, a thin, soft cotton cloth, and adjustable temp iron, spay bottle, and preferably a infrared thermometer.
Video: http://sendvid.com/ez03e7q7
If you're anything like myself, then you've discovered a long time ago, that although unsightly, screen protectors do exactly what they are supposed to do.
Enter Google Pixel: A beautiful screen that's just begging for protection so that it may remain as such for years to come... But there's a major problem. The screen is curved!
After failures from tempered glass and a few different brands of film protectors, I ordered the iCarez film protectors. The technique they recommend works really well. Nailed it on the first try, no bubbles or fuzzies!
After a few minutes, I noticed the right side peeling up. Pressed and rubbed and did everything I could would not stick. Tried again with a fresh film. Same thing, although this is the closest I've gotten to perfection so far.
Here's where the disclaimer comes in.
I grab the iron and set it to "synthetic". I let it heat up for a minute and check the temperature with my infrared thermometer. It's at about *220 f. I place the phone on the cloth and fold cloth over screen. Just one layer. Lightly spray the cloth with water so it's just a little damp. Then I grab the iron and with slow, firm movements, press the edge of the screen where the bubbles are, making sure to not leave it in one place for too long.
I pull back the towel and wipe away the moisture on the screen to reveal it's working! I have 90% of the halo gone!
The last bit just wouldn't go down. So I turned the iron up to about *270 f and repeated the same motion. Boom! Flat, no bubbles or halo.
If you try this, please be careful. I'm sure exposure to high temperatures is only OK for very short periods of time.
**I will reiterate that this should be done at your own risk.**
DON'T BE A DUMMY. DO NOT PLACE A HOT IRON DIRECTLY ON YOUR PHONE.
Good luck!

I never run a screen protector. Honestly by the time I was ready to switch phones I had one or two tiny scratches on the screen. My wife always runs a screen protector and while I am sure she is just using cheap screen protectors her screen always looks like shiz. Oh the reason I dont use screen protectors is because glass apparently keeps getting better and better so where is the need.
I also don't put things in my pocket with my phone and I tend tp put the glass side in towards my skin.
Just some perspective from a guy that doesn’t use screen protectors or cases. By all means your money is not mine and spend it how you will, this is just some insight.
I ordered the iCarez [HD Clear] Screen Protector for Google Pixel XL. I have had it on for 6 days and have had No issues at all. Very nice film screen protector. For years I have used, http://www.clarivue.com/browse-by-brand-screen-protector.html. Very solid ultra clear protector.
Thanks

I see where you're coming from. I treated this phone like a sleeping baby on a land mine for the first few days waiting for a case and screen protector to come in the mail. Even then I still got a few small superficial scratches on the screen and a pretty noticeable one the softer back glass. A properly installed screen protector is barely noticeable and I change it out every few months when it gets scratched up. Small price to pay for the added protection.
It boils down to preference. At any rate, if you do like them, it's hard to install one on this phone. This is a way to get it to fit better. It's been a few days now and it's holding strong. I'm pleased.
I've noticed after my screen protectors get crappy and I haven't had them on my phone for a while, my screen never really gets scratched up. Therefore, I don't really use screen protectors anymore.
The only thing that ever scratched my screen was a titanium keychain accessory on my keyring. Regular keys never scratched my screen, but the titanium sure did. Luckily it was on a horrible temp phone I was using until my pixel arrived
I quit using protectors. Don't like the way they feel. And they have come a long way in scratch proof glass
Bought a tempered glass one about 2 weeks after getting the phone. And I got it about a day or 2 after its initial release.
Havent had any issues with it at all. Can't remember the brand, I just know it's a full protector, covers the entire front of the phone.
I bought the Supershieldz tempered glass 2 pack off Amazon as I have had success in the past with their screen protectors. It covers JUST the usable portion of the screen, not the entire front, and it works just fine. Zero bubbles and no "halo".
I've just got the orzly pro protector, covers the entire front as well with perfect cutouts
Easy to install, just hinge it and flap it on lol

If you got the S7 Edge then this seller on ALi has the proper glass for your phone as well. In any case I have seen enough videos of how to apply this protector that I am now persuaded that this is indeed the ultimate screen protector for edge phones, the only thing that is to be found out, would be the quality of the glass it self.. AKA, oleopathic coating, strength and etc. These things are important as these days 90% of Chinese tempered glass has no oleopathic coating and is not even real tempered glass, it is just a cheap gimmic that breaks easy as F***. So hopefully since this whole UV glue is a next level kinda thing, the quality might still be on the high.
When mine arrives I will make a video of the installation and post it here for you guys with my comments.
i have S9 and S7.
ok, i will wait for it, thank you Mate!

So the glass i ordered arrived yesterday. Photos below. On the 1st glance, the glass appears to be of rather good quality and it seems to have a real oleopathic coating against fingerprints, which is quite rare these days with Chinese tempered glass.
As promissed i will make a video of how i apply it and post it here.

I ordered this for my S9 plus. It worked very well. It doesn't come with an install kit to balance the dispersement of the liquid, so when I installed it I missed a small edge and I installed it a little to low on the phone so my case would move it. So I removed it.
However I would recommend this product as a good alternative to the more expensive model.
Ok so LONG post, but absolutely necessary to read if you consider using this type of screen protection. My glass arrived 2 days ago and I applied it today. It is crystal clear and the visibility is at its best, touch sensitivity has not been affected at all. It is pleasant to the touch and does not feel like crappy tempered glass. (pics attached)
I had promised that I will upload a video but I did not think it trough and on the 8th minute the memory on my backup camera finished, so without my realization it turned off.
Below however are a few notes that are important and I realized it while shaking above the phone and overcoming them
1. Make sure to put a dust sticker on the TOP speaker in case some glue decides to enter there..
2. Put dust stickers above the buttons, all of them, so in case some glue leaks out it will not go inside the buttons.
3. From the place i ordered on Aliexpress, the glue that arrived may have been about 10%- 15% more than necessary in the tube, so i got leaks on the sides of the phone once the glue spread all over, I cleaned it with a napkin, it is possible that it leaked as I may have mistakenly applied a slight pressure on the glass while I placed it. I recommend that once you release all the glue from the black non-transparent bottle, you can squeeze it and then suck up about 10 15% of the glue that is on top of your screen.
4. Make sure before you start the whole procedure, to turn your phone off.
5. Do it on a FLAT surface because the glue may start moving from the middle of the phone towards the sides.
6. If you order from the same seller I did, your lamp would likely have a pre-set timer, as mine apparently does. In this case, the lamp will turn off every 45 seconds approx, that signals that you should move it on the next area (Bottom, middle, top) of the screen.
7. I would recommend that once you place the glass on top of the glue and let it spread, DO NOT freak out if it leaks. Turn on the lamp, and move it on top of the screen from top to bottom for about 40 seconds so the glue hardens just a little. Then with a napkin gently absorb the leaked glue.
8. Make sure you see at least 5-6 videos of other guys doing it so you can be best prepared.
Overall, I think it is a good option for screen protection, much better than all the NON-FULL GLUE alternatives. Aka, protectors with glue only on the sides of the glass only and not in the middle. It is tricky to apply but once you are done you will be glad you went for it. I am not sure if it is any different than the more expensive versions others people are talking about, I suspect that it is plain re-branding. The more expensive ones just come with a different brand logo, better advertisement and more promises. But, same thing in reality. At least in my case, I paid about 15$ and got 2 glasses, 2 glues, and a good UV lamp.
Quick summary: Find a dust-free flat surface with good light, clean screen, apply stickers to speaker, and all holes and buttons, gently remove any additional dust particles from screen, apply glue to middle of screen, gently place glass on top and DO NOT apply pressure, if it is not too straight you can move it a bit, If any leaks, apply UV light for about 40 seconds up and down, gently clean leaks, apply UV light for 45 seconds for 3 more rounds. At the end you may even do one more 45 second round top to bottom as I did.
Enjoy.
EDIT: After applying it the whole thing, the glue may still remain slightly sticky on the corners, so that may allow extra dust to stick on it. However, If you can, leave the phone under the sun for 10 minutes, and the glue will dry to the full, then it would be easy do fully clean the corners with your nail or some non dusty cloth. Just do not put too much pressure with your nail as you may raise the glass and allow a bubble to form.
I have ordered the same today. lets see when I receive it.

It should be... I don't see why not. The one i ordered covers most of the screen but leaves quite a bit out as you can see in the pics i posted... and that is considered not too case friendly. However to me it seems pretty compatible with all cases.
But, to be safe you can order the alternative case friendly version of the glass from the same seller. It is smaller and covers even less of the screen. I don't see the harm in getting one and trying it
Received mine today. Took 12 days to reach India. The screen guard is really good, fits perfectly. the glue is little excess so had to clean up a lot. note for next time. However I fixed the glass a little to the lower side so bundled case is almost touching the glass. Don't know in future if it will lift because of that. Overall a fantastic deal.
Hello
I received mine yesterday it took about 13 days to get to the EU, and applied it today.
The application when well on the first try,i did watch quite a few tutorials beforehand and that helped alot.
The screen protector is very clear , and you do not notice it at all, it also seems to have some real oleophobic coating.
Tactile responsiveness is on par with what you would get without a screen protector.
All in all a very good alternative to the more expensive competitor you also get two screen protectors and two tubes of glue for the same price.
If you are in the market for a screen protector dont hesitate.
Jay
Just ordered, thanks for the review & tips..
Another positive report here, although I wish I'd been a bit more careful as I have a couple of tiny bubbles near the edge. They only show up on a bright white screen so I may live with them rather than try again with the spare glass & glue.

You wont be disapointed.
watch some videos before applying it, that really helps.
Check out this one for example.
( not affiliated in any way but i found it really helpful.)

Thank you very much!!!
I have the whitestone and love it. Was wanting something for a backup though. Last time I waited a week to get my warrenty replacement.
Does the AliExpress come with a tray to line up the glass? Or does the glass work with the Whitestone tray? If not, how do you get your glass lined up?

The tray you are talking about probably will work. However the standard way to align the glass is by your finger and vision. Just make sure that if you do so, do not press downwards while you are moving and aligning the glass. If you press down, it will push some of the glue out...

[REVIEW] amFilm Ultra Glass Screen Protector

Hello all!
First time posting in a while, so forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. I just got my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ yesterday, and my amFilm Ultra Glass Screen Protector today, so I thought I'd write up a little review. Sorry for no pics, but I was busy installing and trying to keep things dust-free
I've used Whitestone in the past but was disappointed with both my Note 8 and 9 installs, primarily because of the LOCA spiderwebbing on the edges. I figured I'd give another brand a shot, so I went searching here and found the amFilm Ultra Glass Screen Protector. A quick trip over to Amazon, and $40 later (for a full kit including *2* protectors) and here we are!
PACKAGING: The box is nice - wider and flatter than the WS product. It's clean and simple, but professional looking. Plus their website and install video are well done also. Inside the outer box are three smaller boxes. The largest contains the plastic frame, screen protectors, and wipes (I think). The medium size box contains the UV light and the MicroUSB cable. It appears to be identical to the WS product, but I don't know this for a fact, so take that for what it's worth. The smallest box contains the LOCA (2 tubes), extra absorption pads, plastic pin, tabs to place over the speaker, a bubble level, and a weight. Everything you need comes in this kit, including plenty of wet and dry wipes, microfiber cloths, and dust removal stickers. On the packaging is a QR code to go to the install video.
PRODUCT: Everything seems to be on the same quality scale as the WS product, with a few minor changes - 1) there is no LOCA applicator "bridge", you have to aim and dribble the solution by hand, 2) the pin is different - there's no more tilting the entire phone to move the liquid into position - the pin is angled and sets the glass down at an angle, and 3) the "fingerprint" weight (more on this later). Otherwise, if you've done the WS before, this isn't significantly different.
INSTALLATION: **REMINDER** REMOVE the factory plastic screen protector and clean your screen THOROUGHLY before proceeding! I ALMOST forgot, which would have been a disaster! I watched the video twice and didn't see any mention of this, so amFilm, here's a tip for you. Anyway, installation is straightforward -put the little feet on the bottom of the phone to bring it flush with the pins inside, make sure the screen is 100% clean, install the sticker over the speaker, apply the liquid (making sure to absorb any "splatter" before proceeding!), peel the protective film off the glass, place it, and pull the pin. Once the liquid starts to spread, put the weight where the fingerprint sensor is and let it settle and "ooze" for 3-ish minutes. (NOTE - it's hard to locate the fingerprint scanner, so you might want to mark the frame in advance with a Sharpie (another tip for amFilm - marking that plastic with some kind of raised bumps or hash marks might be a good idea, or maybe a film for on top of the glass that marks where to place it - just a thought). After that, it's bake-time under the UV light, then you're done.
RESULTS: I'm very impressed so far. The glass appears to be nice and clear, and I can't even see the little "spots" in the corners others mentioned. I lucked out this time and no dust specs at all. No bubbles, etc. the fingerprint scanner appears to be working fine, although I haven't re-registered anything. It DOES require a little extra "umph" to scan, but that's not a big deal. Part of that could be me getting used to an in-screen scanner. There was minimal over-oozing, and the pre-installed pads absorbed everything fine. Barely needed a wipedown afterward.
FITMENT: There appears to be no flaws in placement using the guide, or in the fitment of the glass. It sits flat, and lines up exactly where it should. The cutout for the front-facing camera is exactly where it should be, and it's not overly-exaggerated in size. The edges leave plenty of room for putting the phone in a case (I've tried 4 so far, all fit without touching the glass edge, so there's no worry about case push on the glue). The bottom edge is just a tad bit short, maybe a 1/16", but that could be allowing for larger cases (I don't use the big bulky ones, so IDK).
OVERALL ASSESSMENT: 4.5/5 Stars - Great product, especially for the price. I'll keep you posted on long-term wear & quality, but for now, I'd say it's a great deal versus the competition.
Great review. I just installed mine yesterday and I've had exactly the same great experience with the product. It really does work well with the fp scanner. I had a terrible time with the S10 plus fp scanner and the Whitestone. Great price as well. I'll buy again for sure.

So did everyone's. There's three or four threads about it already. And that's why the OP said to make sure to removed the factory installed screen protector.
Will this work with the samsung clearview cover ?
and can this protector be easily removed?
thanks
I just picked up a set of the amfilm install went flawless a lot easier than the whitestone I had on my S8 fingerprint worked right of the bat with what I had already registered I think it even sensed it better than the stock protector that came with the phone, well spent $40 bucks on amazon
Forgot to mention it fits perfect with my otterbox case

Not sure about the Clearview cover, I haven't ordered it yet.
As for removal, it uses LOCA glue to adhere the screen protector to the phone, so it's not the easiest thing to remove, but will come off with a little effort. You will want to have lots of alcohol wipes handy to clean the screen afterwards. Maybe a few Band-Aids, too
AMfilm doesn't seem to gather dust at the edges like it did with the Whitestone install on my Galaxy Note 9. That's a blessing! I was always cleaning clingy dust away on a daily basis. The edges on this install are clean!

Hey Ray, do you know why? is it because of different density loca glue? I really want to switch to glass protector but hesitant because of dust built up around the edges.

yep. works with every case i got so far. Might have issue with the ones with a front plastic piece though like on some heavy duty cases.
not sure about removal, but ive not had issue with any loca based one so far in the years ive used them.

It must be a difference in the glue, I don't know what else accounts for it. I had really fuzzy edges all the time with WS.
How hard is it if you want to remove the screen protector pls?
I'll add my review...
I applied this to my S20+ yesterday. The steps were clear on paper, but the video was more helpful still.
Everything went fine with the exception that when I opened the adhesive tube it sprayed out a bit even before the top cap was opened, and I suspect this is due to me living at a high altitude. As a result my glue didn't fully spread to the whole screen, but close, and there were many small bubbles in the center of the screen. Next time I might try opening and closing the top first to equilibrate pressure.
That said, this is a promising product. It has a smooth and even finish, remains low profile so my case fits which still wraps the lateral edges, and the fingerprint part works a bit better than with the cheap plastic screen protector that samsung supplied (which also scratched easily).
I've never used screen protectors on prior phones, but this product is nice enough that I'll use it on future phones as well.
Additionally, the customer service was outstanding and they immediately sent me a replacement protector and more adhesive to try again.
Thumbs up so far, I'm confident my next application will be successful.
For those who installed this last year, how has it held up?

Sorry, haven't been on XDA much. I've had my amfilm since Dec, 2019 and it's still like new. Oleophobic coating has not wear off.
