Ok Google Hands Free Voice Detection - What is the newest Google/Wear OS V it worked? - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just purchased a Ticwatch Pro 3, and after some discussions downgraded the google and wear os to their base install versions. It enabled most of google assistant but passive keyword detection of ok google still does not work. What versions of wear os are people using that still have a working ok google, and could I get a copy of the apk? Thanks

As far as I am aware its version 2.34. There are a few mirrors of it over the web. I havent tested it with Ticwatch Pro 3 yet. GL

Problem with Google's services?

I just got the Axon Mini from china and for some reason it won't let me use any of the google applications.
I also can't create a google account because of this
I went to apkmirror and download newer versions of: Google account manager, google play services, google play store, and google services framework.
also tried a factory reset
Phone info:
Model Number: ZTE B2015
Android Version: 5.1.1
Android Security patch level: 2016-01-01
Kernel version: 3.10.49
MiFavor UI: 3.2
Build version: ZTE B2015FTV1.0.0B07
Any help or suggestions are appreciated, and it's a new phone so I'm not worried about losing anything
Hi Yosef,
it seems like you're in the wrong forum. As you state you have an Axon Mini and not an Axon 7 Mini. Sadly XDA Does not seem to have a Axon Mini Forum.
There seems to be some software and ROMs in the Axon Pro Forums for your Phone though.
Generally it is a really, really bad Idea to import a Chinese Phone. They generally come without Google Services and filled with Spyware:

As this is also well known by Google and therefore the S
spyware phones are not supported. I believe your best bet is to install custom Firmware (if available) and have a fresh start.

Google swrvices and purevpn

Dear all,
I just bought a Huawei Nova in Shanghai (chinese version). It has 5.1 emui. But no google services. Ive tried to download and install them and gave all permissions but still not able to start. Also i did install purevpn apk but it is frozen again at the beginning. It is about android 7? How can i solve this problem? Best,
Probably it's the same story as with Xiaomi phones with Chinese ROMs. Google is banned in China that's what you cannot use it. Try to find official international ROM for your device and flash it.
Hiapp has a modified google play and google play services. It worked on my device in China on EMUI 4. Not sure why the apk is force closing. Do they have options to set up the vpn manually?
hank you but i do not want to flash a rom. i found out that purevpn app is freezing when i was trying to start hiapp's google play. after removing it, it works but slow (nothing to do here). but still sad about google play and other google services part.

I now run LineageOS on my phone, so I have flashed GApps. Before that I was on EMUI 4 and it seemed fine with HIapps google. There is a free VPN called zerovpn and I got that to work in most places (again I am also in China).

Google Camera problem

Hi,
I was using a Google Camera app without any problems since I remembered on my Moto X Style.
Event after Nougat update it wasn't any problem.
Yesterday I made a full factory reset and I was suprised by the play store. There is no anymore possibility to install Google Camera from store!
It's not compatible with our device any more. It looks like before it was compatible. I was looked a app on apkmirror but all of them required android 7.1+ (since 4.2 version).
Version 4.1 doesn't looks like that I was using before (there is no hdr option there).
Is there anyone who still have a Google Camera app from play store on Moto X Style and can extract apk from device?
It's been very long since Google has made Google Camera exclusive to their nexus and pixel phones only. It would show phone not supported for any other phone trying to access Google Camera via play store.

Not so long... In a middle of 2017 I made a full factory reset and that app was still available in store for me.
Yesterday I checked friend Note 4 and it wasn't available too bu my friend had already installed that.
Unfortunately there is no possibility to export apk from adroid 6.0 to 7.0...
So maybe there is someone on xda who still have a last version from store with android 7.0?
You can download stock/aroma, 7.0 64bit gapps.zip from opengapps.org and extract googlecamera.apk.

4.1 on apkmirror is suitable for 7.0
I will try that, thanks guys!

Fire 10 HD 7th gen. Google Play Store install/update

So for picking proper version of .ap k files I am using following info: account manager, services framework, services, and store.
!!!Have seen one of the first two files (or both) listed later in install order! And provide details of they exist for installing over current versions (is safe)...
ARM64 architecture
!!!Have seen the specific mediatek chip uses arm64 + arm (some earlier A#)... So do I look for arm64 + ??? Or will just ARM64 ap k variant designation due cause of backward compatibility with older arm arch?
224pp I PPI... So 240 dpi variant of no architecture designation.
Android version 5.0 (api 22) variant of apk...
!!!! Have seen versions of services and store apks for Google play listed in "guides" that are more current for these two files, like installing latest version of store apk is ok?
Also apk mirror site navigation of available variants has weird inconsistencies like links two files that seem identical besides the number of times they have been downloaded!
Current versions/reported in fire installed all list=
12.2.21 for services...9.2.11 for store and same variant 5.1 174etc for accnt mangr and framework.
I updated services for some reason after initial use of some how-to
All in all everything seems to function well, though noticed differences between google integration vs. Fire 7 5th gen install using rooting and after reset/fooling just sideloading.
Any gaps filled by senior members of those who get what specifics I am after IS awesome.
Xda has been great 4 me since my HTC Kaiser then Fuze, etc.
Thanks!

Ok Google / Voice Match

Hello everyone, I need help with turn on Ok Google.
I have stock rom without root and Spanish lenguaje.
The problem is when I want turn on voice match i have to lear it my voice, when I back to home, the voice match is turn off.
I tested uninstall Google App and it installed again, also i installed old version and the problem exist. Also, I changed the lenguaje but doesn´t work.
Im tired, the solution exist or is the fu´´´ One UI or bixy ?
Thanks you so much !!
Had the same problem on A10... had to use a different launcher to get OK Google to work.
I got two solutions... the first one on A10. Join Google Beta. It's stable but working as it should. Also update OneUI Home (the launcher) via Galaxy Store
The second solution is updating to A11 and OneUI 3. With Google Beta it still works perfect
