Can't find the K30 Pro in the devices fingerprints. Should I use the Mi 10 instead?

It works. Thanks ?

@tze_vitamin
Works flawless!
A bit tricky to find (You mist choose "Redmi" as vendor), but this took just a few seconds to execute :good:

Same here :fingers-crossed:

Now use magisk beta 21.0 also good result.
And also much stable than canary. When I was used canary I've had apps keep crashing issue. But with 21.0 it solved that issue for me.

How can I get android 11? I have global miui version...

Google Pay doesn't work for me even though I'm passing SafetyNet. It let me set up my cards but then on the main screen below the contactless symbol it says "Not set up" and when I go to "Contactless setup" it says "Your phone doesn't meet security requirements."

It is exactly the same for me. Safetynet is ok but gpay doesn't work

Safety net is pass but device name changed to Lmi

You just set to bate under the setting of the magisk manager.
Then tap install , choose download zip only then install use twrp.
Anyway, attached beta zip but actually you can find very easily at the magisk github......

Choose POCO F2 Pro Global fingerprint in option 1. and POCO F2 Pro Global device model in option 2.
Also, in option 5., manually set ro.product.brand, ro.product.odm.brand and ro.product.vendor.brand to POCO for everything to be perfect.
Restart and you are good to go.

Thanks! Working on 21.0+ (stable)
Just wanted to confirm for all that 21.0+ stable from Magisk works!
(perhaps you can update post @tze_vitamin)
Before any stupid questions, I mean this version (flashed via TWRP) : https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/v21.0
To spell out the steps I took (as XDA users love to re-ask the same questions):
Flash above linked stable Magisk via TWRP
enable MagiskHide (under Magisk manager settings)
install & enable `MagiskHide Props Config` from plugins menu in MagiskManager & reboot
termux su; props; 1-edit fingerprint; f- certified fingerprint; 22-POCO; 2- POCO F2 Pro Global(10); reboot
termux su; props; 2-enable force BASIC key attestation; reboot
... enjoy your safetynet passing PocoF2

Havoc 2.0 Pie - accesibility app is obscuring a permission request...

Havoc 2.0 on 2017U
There are 4 problems:
1. Can't Grant accessibility due to error " app is obscuring a permission request...". Tried many suggestions found online already, ex gesture, stock pixel launcher.
2. Some app have duplicate icons in the app drawer. Such as McDonald app. Clean cache on the Nova launcher has no impact
3. Some app freeze, such as McDonald app, suspect it is related to #1.
4. ctsprofile check in Magisk always fail even with magisk19 and props config module. Basicintegrity is green though.
Any suggestions?

Viper4Android on the Redmi Note 7

Hello there, I've been trying to get the viper4android but it just keep asking me to install the driver.
I've tried with the magisk module and the xda labs version (which looks awesome btw).
I'm on magisk 19.0
My rom is xiaomi.eu 10.4
Any ideas?
Just install a Magisk module or a script to set SeLinux as Permissive. I am using it right now and everything works great.

I've had trouble installing it, too. Tried every rom posted on this forum, stock MIUI, and some GSI, and in none of them I could get V4A working. Used Magisk Module, too.
Could you please ellaborate how you installed it? Which rom? Which Magisk/V4A version?
Viper is literally the only thing I'm missing from my previous phone; I'd reeeally like to enjoy it again!

Yes, I tried that one as well. Always the same error: "No driver installed", press yes, restart phone, and back to "no driver installed" again.
Which busybox version are you using?
Ok, I finally got it.
I'll write it here for anyone with the same problem, or for future reference.
First, check that you have BusyBox installed.
Then, in Magisk Manager, install the Audio Modification Library. Reboot.
In Magisk Manager again, install the Viper4Android module. Install options: new driver, old interface, user app, library workaround no, oneplus 3 workaround yes. Reboot.
Check opening the app, it should work normally, with no "driver not found" errors.
Notes: tried with letsmakecake's Lineage 16. People in the RN7 Telegram group recommend busybox.zip, but I confirm that the stericson app works the same.
If anyone has problems making it work with Poweramp: settings->audio->advanced->
- Direct Volume Control: disabled
- MusicFX: enabled
Then go to the eq screen, second tab, press MusicFX so it's enabled.
Thanks all who helped, and the V4A devs. This is the best audio tweak mod available for Android, hands down.
Personal recommendation: try the Dolby Pro Logic II irs in the convolver!

Alright, can confirm this works, with some minor differences:
-new interface (just personal preference)
-library workaround was applied automatically
I also have selinux permissive and MusicFX disabled (app frozen).
The package I used is Viper4Android FX Legacy. The new version, Viper4Android 2.7, did not work for me.
My ROM is HavocOS.

Unlocked bootloader + root = no Google Pay ?

Hi,
I've switched to xiaomi.eu rom and installed Magisk. Unfortunately Google Pay doesn't work anymore. Same thing for one of my banking app that doesn't allow me to use fingerprint to authenticate :crying:
Everything worked fine with the stock rom and locked bootloader.
I tried to use Magisk hide for Google Pay and my banking app with no success.
Also tried "SafetyPatch" Magisk module and it still fails.
SafetyNet test in Magisk is successful so I have no idea what can be the problem ?
I think there is a solution. I found it at Polish forum. I translated it with google. Should be good enough to know what to do. I didn't test it yet. I need to wait for BL unlock.
We install Magisk - Magisk Canary (.apk file). With Magisk Manager, we download the latest .zip Magiska and install it in TWRP.
Go to Magisk> Magisk Hide and select Google Pay , Google Play Services and other banking applications .
In the Google Pay app settings, we're cleaning data and cache (Settings -> Applications -> Management -> Google Pay).
Go to TWRP -> Advanced (Advanced) -> File manager .
Go to file: /data/data/com.google.android.gms/databases/dg.db
We click chmod , enter 440 and confirm.
We run the system (reboot system) and configure Google Pay . After correct addition of the card and verification by the bank, we should be able to pay with NFC.
Thanks a lot! It worked for me too on my Mi9 with xiaomi.eu !

Like the other post said you have to enable HCE Wallet. And also have a look if Google Pay has the right permissions like using NFC. After I did all that it started to work like a charm.
is Google Pay still working with this fix ?
I know that even if it works for some time it will stop working after few days ...
Cheers,
It's still working for me.

I've been using the xiaomi.eu weekly with Magisk and MagiskHide Props Config add on, and was able to activate Google Pay (haven't used it yet, that's why I'm asking), and use my banking apps.

How to install non-magisk YouTube Vanced?

I've got perfectly working Magisk module, but would like to install the latest versions. I manage to i stall it with Split APK installer. Install MicroG, Vanced afterwards (with Root enabled and signing of APKs also enabled). It seems to work, but I can't login. It always tells me my account already exists on the device.
Anyone succeeded with installing it and logging in? Split APK installer complains about MIUI preventing the installation, until recently. I'm on latest Mi9 Xiaomi.eu ROM, so the install works.

For Magisk, use the YouTube Vanced module you will find and install by using Magisk Manager (or download directly from Magisk repo)
Before that, go to Playstore and for the YouTube app, disable automatic update (top/right three dots).
Then uninstall YT.
Finally install Vanced module and reboot
The magisk Youtube Vanced is outdated as hell

With the sai installer you install it next to the original youtube without Google assistant features
I think you need to install the root version to have all features.

[GUIDE][ROOT][(ED)XPOSED] Install Xposed using Magisk

SOME OF THIS MIGHT BE A BIT OUTDATED.
I haven't checked Riru for some time now. My school is killing me with assignments. When I have a bit of free time I will check everything and update this post.
Hello!!
In this thread I'm gonna show you how to install root with Magisk and install xposed.
First off all. This is how I did it. I'm going to explain it to the best of my abilities. However, if this does not work for you, or it resolves into a brick, its not my fault. Everything you do to your device it your own doing.
With that being said. Lets start!!
My setup:
Phone: Poco F2 Pro
Rom: xiaomi.eu Stable for Poco F2 Pro/Redmi K30 Pro
Android version: 10
Root: Magisk 21
Edxposed version: EdXposed-YAHFA-v0.4.6.2.4529.-release
Riru core version: magisk-riru-v21.3
EdXposed manager version: EdXposedManager-4.5.7-45700
What did i do?
I installed xiaomi.eu weekly first. But quickly after finding out that root doesn't work on Android 11 yet, I installed the stable which was still on Android 10.
So here are the steps what i did to install EdXposed
The files should be attached to this post as a zip, if you don't see them here is a link
1: Install latest Magisk 21.1
2: Install magisk-riru-v21.3.zip
3: Install EdXposed-YAHFA-v0.4.6.2.4529.-release.zip
4: Reboot phone
5: Install EdXposed installer
After I did this Chrome stopped working. Every time I wanted to open Chrome it just closed on its own. So I did a little search on Google and found a fix.
Thanks to Reddit user lkn194 for explaining how to fix this issue.
A quick step-by-step on how he/she did it:
In EdXposed Installer:
1: Go to settings> Framework> activate APP LIST MODE
2: Go to applications (Black list)> Leave enabled for:
• Android Services Library;
• Chrome;
• Google service structure;
• Google play services;
• Google play services for AR
3: Restart your device. After that you're done and Chrome is working
The first module I installed was CustoMIUIzer. Its an amazing addon mod for MIUI devices. You should definitely check that out.
This is the link
I hope this works for you as well as it does for me.
If you have any questions, be sure to say so.
Thanks for checking this out and have a great day!!
Welp the files weren't attached to that post, so here they are.

• Android Services Library;
• Chrome;
• Google service structure;
• Google play services;

Thanks for the tutorial, but just wondering; does Customiuizer work well for you if you've got phone security enabled? I ask because I tried it earlier after correctly installing edxposed on the latest stable MIUI EU, but once I had customised the settings through the app and rebooted to have them applied, all I got was an onscreen 'please wait' warning that just hung there forever.
After doing some online research, I found out that if the phones encrypted (fingerprint or password), the Customiuizer app gets stuck on load for some strange reason. If all security options are disabled, then the app will apply the customisations just fine (although at the moment not all features seem to work on Miui12), so just wanted to know if this happens to you as well... Thanks again.

Hmm. To be honest, I've never encountered that. I always disable the MIUI security checks. So everything works fine for me from the get-go. I guess you have to disable the security to get it working. I'm sorry to say so, I'm not much help here...

Thanks for the reply, but when you say you disable MIUI security checks, which options are you referring to? Is it something within the customiuizer app itself, or on phone settings?

I'm sorry, i didnt say what. I was referring to disabling the security checks on installing apk's. That all i disabled. I also did nothing with the Security app. I haven't even actually opend that app.
Try disabling the security for apk's check by going into
Security app --> settings --> Security Scan --> disable "Scan before installing".
I also didn't click on any "agree" button cus like i said, i dont use the Security app
Thats what i have. Nothing more nothing less.

Thanks, but I had already disabled "Scan before installing". I guess it's something to do with the device being encrypted, because once I remove any passwords or fingerprints, some of the app's functions do indeed work (eg.: advanced reboot, volume keys media playback control). I guess for the moment it's either no security at all or no CustoMIUIzer...
A small request if I may; if you have the time, could you kindly check if album art is displaying on your lock-screen while paying music? The option to activate this feature is under 'lock-screen' mods within the CustoMIUIzer app... Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the confirmation. Album art didn't seem to work when I tried yesterday...
In any event, it's all quite strange since I'm also using the same rom and configuration as you are:
Xiaomi.eu Stable for Poco F2 Pro/Redmi K30 Pro
Magisk 20.4
EdXposed-YAHFA-v0.4.6.2.4529.-release.zip
Do you have any password / PIN / fingerprint enabled?

Really weird... :silly:
Anyhow, will try and reinstall the app again later today and fiddle around with it a bit to see what could be causing the issue then...
Thanks anyhow for the help. :good:
Update: Tried it all again starting over from scratch, and this time the CustoMIUIzer app worked perfectly without any hangs. What I did differently was verify all permissions had been granted for the app and also enabled it to auto-start as well, and so far, it seems to be working fine.
Had a problem with the album art on lock-screen not applying, though, but after a few tries I managed to figure out that it was because of some compatibility issue with the default MIUI theme; it worked when I set the 'Classic' theme as default, and also used a static wallpaper instead of a live one...

No problem, thanks for replying anyhow.
BTW, I found out why the app was freezing... Seems it was because I had activated the 'no password after boot' option under the apps lockscreen settings... ?
Why not use Edxposed canary (5.0.6)?

Just wondering if you'd still suggest using the stable ROM instead of the weekly.

As of now, root in its whole doesn't work on Android 11. And because it only works for Android 10 there is no other option but only to use this on Stable.
Unless you want no root and just want check out the new features. I suggest the Stable.

Or am I missing something?

I dont know anything about root on Android 11. When i tried to install it on beta it didnt work. And so far I've seen only one person who said he/she had been able to acquire root on 11. If someone else can confirm this that would be great. I cant test it rn, cus of personal reasons, I need a stable phone.
for what you use Xposed?
