Can the number of rings prior to a call diversion or a missed call listing be varied on the XDA 2 Mini itself or is it a service provider setting. What is maximum time setting? At the moment it seems about only 20 seconds and i currently miss a lot of calls because I am not quite quick enough getting it out of the holder, opening the cover and answering the phone.
It's an Operator function so you'll need to speak to them about it. You can send codes to some operators from your phone so hopefully they'll tell you what the codes are!

The (your prefix, your number) can be any number you like, it is the number the caller is diverted to when you do not answer, ie your network answer phone number is default so make a note of this first.

today I bought credits for ezSEMC software to sim unlock my xperia. I'm trying to unlock it for 10 hours but i can't.

Read the message again, specifically the line "Server under maintainence,Please try after sometime".
That means the server is unavailable because of maintenance
I purchased the same utility to unlock my Arc as well and have encountered the same server maintenance status. It has been like this for the past 6-7 hours. Not complaining, just letting others know there is more than one person experiencing the same issue.
Mine has been like this for 3 days now, really pissing me off. ezSEMC had better work soon!!
Was origionaly counting down to midgnight, but after that it said "after sometime"
Was informed that the server is under maintenance and can only handle 20 requests a day and it resets at midnight, but tried that too and no unlock.
Anyone know an alternate?

Apologies for the delay in unlocking your X10,X8,Arc, X10 mini etc..
Sony ericsson recently has started blocking the unlocking dongles and at this moment, we must be carefull not to exceed the number of unlocks that is restricted per each dongle.
I will be able to activate your account to perform the unlock immediately. But the unlock must be performed within 5 minutes of activation, because the account will reset again.
Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
There is a huge risk running the dongle at these times as each of these dongle costs a min of 20k euro and the risk of it getting blocked is very high.

@ferraripassion... I received your text message and was able to login with ezSEMC and unlock my Rogers branded Arc. After trying two other providers who were unable to unlock it, your service was able to get the job done. Thank you very much!!!

beware, unlocking by cable will void your warranty. factory unlock codes will be a much better choice without any limitations. accepting orders now
Unlocking Troubles
I paid $39.99 to get my unlock code to a website which was mentioned here (if people can tell me whether I can write their name or not?)
and after going through the code check which came back saying yes we can unlock it now I am receiving emails which is saying the following

With a Non accepted simcard start up the phone. When the screen says "emergency calls"
1. Start up the phone and press the Menu key ( ) and Back key ( ) as follows:
2. Pressing Key Sequences: Menu Back Back Menu Back Menu Menu Back
Note: Please make sure the phone have SIMLOCK when pressing these keys to get into the Service menu.
Also You can check there is counter of wrong
code is blocked.
Please send us this information as soon as possible, as we can guarantee no other company will be able to retrieve Sony Ericsson Manufacturer Unlock codes faster than us.

Hi, I finally able to use the Note 3 VZW on att. Another problem shows up when i get call from people. When friends call The caller ID display +415xxxxxx or + area code then number.
i think when u add a + is consider international call. So, i guess the phone thinks i am getting international calls. I am wondering how i am able to remove that? I had note 2 vzw, and it doesn't give me such issue. any comment or suggestion would help. Thank you very much:good:

I was wondering the same thing! Whenever I return a missed call it has the + like you say before the caller ID and then it thinks I'm trying to place an international call. Makes it very annoying to use on AT&T. Maybe that is their plan?

i would look at 2 things
settings > Call > Other call settings section
1. Current Country is set correctly?
2. try to toggle Assisted Dialing?

I'm always being shy to post, but this is an amazing place for information, this time i couldn't find anything that I was looking for so here it is the question:
- I have bought LG v30 from South Korea unlocked 128gb phone
- its recognize Verizon sim card
- 4LTE internet is working
- text messages or voice phone calling is not working, if something else is calling me it goes to voice mail.
I have called to Verizon tech support they told me that they cant enter manually the IMEI address since such phone doesn't exist yet in they data base.

In order for a phone to work reliably on Verizon it must have LTE Band 13. I'd imagine the Korean version does NOT support Band 13. Most phones support Band 4, which Verizon sometimes uses, but without 13, you're out of luck in most places. I'd either wait for the unlocked American V30 or get the Verizon branded one.

I am doing free SIM unlocking on the T-Mobile OnePlus 8. This allows your device to be network unlocked once you choose "Permanent Unlock" on the T-Mobile Device Unlock app or in Settings > WiFi & Internet > SIM & Network > Network Unlock.

Current turnaround time: ~1-3 days depending on how busy I am.
Requirements:
Unlocking for T-Mobile OnePlus 8 variant only.
Not eligible for MetroPCS users.
Device must be on the network for AT LEAST 3 full calendar days.
Cannot be on the OnePlus 8 international firmware.
