Nope i don't think so
You will also need to unlock your bootloader to get rid of the Balong. It is not a build number, it is a bug related to installing something wrong on your device.

I unlocked my p9 lite's bootloader and relocked it when i relock bootloader my system apps missed and when i trying for flash via 3 buttons method it not working and I can't update my phone.
If you know any solution please tell that!

I need to downgrade my Huawei p8 lite before security patch March 2017 and well my friend told me about magisk unfortunately with me I have computer only with system OS X which means MacBook. So if need someone to help me downgrade my Huawei before that patch over the Mac. I'd really use and appreciate very much any help. Thanks

Hi xda members. I recently bought Mediapad M3 device BTV-DL09C209B312. ((I wanted to unlock my bootloader on ministryofsolution website for $4. the problem is, it can only be unlocked if the device were on july 2018 security patch or below. My current security patch is on november. My question is, is there any reliable tutorial to downgrade this device and unlocked it? I am afraid of bricking the device and i am not really familiar with huawei)) Please tell me step by step and what to do and what not before/after unlocking the device. Such as, do we need to save efs backup, imei, keys, oem info, any other important partition or something like that as long as it is important for huawei user. Thank you. I really need someone to guide me. Your help is really appreciated.
Edit: Skip the part for downgrading with bracket(()). Actually the unlock is supported and i misread the part where "EMUI 8 with july 2018 security patch above are not supported"

The hd8 (2016) Giza likely can get unlocked, there are only a couple developers who have been doing this. I would request it from one of the unlock thread OP's to help. Likely they don't have a device so you will have to risk your device. It being 4 years old, I don't know who much support you will get. Here is a link to a unbrick. What is your objective to unlock for? There are no custom roms, are you just trying to get root access?
