UI 2.1 Update on AT&T S10+ - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

[Just got the Update this morning on my AT&T S10+ in Settings/ Software Update. 1489Mb download and took it a While to install & Restart. Running Smooth!!!

Any significant improvements or updates? I have AT&T as well, but froze the update as for now so I am still on One Ui 2.0

Does the update allow side swipe gestures with 3rd party launchers?

I updated ,but one of the camera can't work.

A camera not working is a bug. Good thing I have the OTA update frozen or else I would be mad that I updated.

Anyone else still getting Maps update notification after OTA update?

So the OTA update bumps Maps up to 3.4. So after the update, why am I getting the update notification from Market?
Anyone figure this out yet? May be an irrelevant question, but I'm curious.
I think they were two separate updates in terms of features. The OTA maps update was just the addition of pinch to zoom. The market maps update added some other random features [i don't remember exactly which but my friend with an MT3G got the same update through market with the same random features but no pinch to zoom]. idk. Long story short, I installed both, and didn't notice any significant changes from the market update.

Market update

Did anyone else notice their market automatically update? I just went on & there were some noticeable changes.
For one, you can now automatically update apps as well as update all with the click of a button. If you click on an app, there is now a related tab.
I knew a couple of those features would come with froyo but I thought the related tab was gingerbread exclusive.

As soon as I burned my phone with DK28 last Friday I noticed these changes as well. Much nicer now IMHO.
I flashed to DK28 a few days ago saw the Market updates for 2.2.1. Then I decided to flash back via ODIN (which after learning how to use is my new best friend) to DI18 and I had the regular ole' 2.1 Market. The next day I have the new and improved Market with the Allow Automatic Updates and Related tab. At first I though I did something wrong. But after further research I found out that a lot of phones are getting this update. www.coolsmartphone.com where I found the article and was relieved.
A while ago, I got a notification for an updated market app, so I installed it. It had comments separated, and an auto-update feature, and it worked fine, for a while. It started getting stuck on the download, so I removed the update. I liked it because of the auto-update. I had to hard-reset a couple of weeks ago, and I thought I'd get the notification again, but it didn't happen, then all of the sudden, the new market app is there, and it has the related tab. I was surprised because it didn't ask me to install it, it was just there.
Did anyone else get a notification to install the newest one, or was it just magically pushed to our phones? I like the new market app, but it disturbs me that it was there without my approval.
I'm on a rooted stock DI18 btw.
It was just there for me. No notification of any kind. I'm on Stock Di-18 never been rooted.

Same here, I went to the market to update my apps and it was there already.

We also have a market widget like the 2.2 widget for us 2.1 users....although it doesnt work properly because it doesnt show any info like the froyo version does.

Issues after successfully sideloading Lollipop in N4

I was able to sideload Lollipop OTA in my N4 and its running fine but I am having some annoying things
First, I am getting this constantly annoying notification that says "An application requires update". When I press it, I get the page of Google Play Services in the play store and it says that its updated. How can I get rid of this notification?
Second, I cannot use the face unlock feature. Its not there at all. I saw on the web that it was moved to the smart lock option but I don't see it in the Security tab of the settings. Either the feature was removed from N4 or the system update was not a success.
Did this happen to you?
Third, with all the fuss that Lollipop should be more battery saving system, I find it that it drains the battery really fast.
Those were some annoying issue from Day 01 of Lollipop!

I've had this annoying update notification from Google Play Services on a Nexus 5, though not on a nexus 4. This happened after I downloaded and installed the latest apk of play services from apkmirror. The problem was resolved after updating to the next version when it became available again from apkmirror. So try updating and if no update is available, try installing the stock version.
Thanks for clearing that out.
What about Face unlock and battery drain?

New Update

VZW just released a new update, includes App Flash, which only works with the Zenui Home apparently, since I See no way to set it up on Nova Launcher and the September security patch

All apps crashing on Android P since this morning

Things were going great the last few days on Android P until this morning. All of a sudden, post a few playstore app updates, the OS became unusable. Google Services (this apk possibly got an OTA update) kept stopping in a loop and all apps started closing....which ended up blocking me from using the phone (couldn't access settings etc. and was too lazy to adb into the device to troubleshoot). Ended up rolling back to oreo. Anyone else faced this?
More information please, where you rooted, custom kernel.ect
I was getting fc'z like crazy yesterday after a fresh install, what I ended up havingto do was a factory reset in twrp and have had none since.
No root, no custom kernel/recovery. Just pure Google provided images and apps from play store

no such issues here (yet).
clean install, no root.
Clean install of Android P with Magisk 16.1 last night. No issues so far but I'm not even 24 hours in. I do know that the Android P dev notes from Google report that the system can get extremely unstable over time. So the OPs issues make sense.
The way I'm looking at it is if my phone runs perfectly on Android P for 5-6 days before starting to hiccup, then I have no problem quickly reflashing Android P without wiping data every 5-6 days since it takes like 30 seconds and doesn't force me to re-download or re-setup any apps. To me, this would be worth it in order to run an otherwise stable version of Android that most other phones won't get until this time next year.
But, if I only make it 48-72 hours before the phone starts really acting up, I'll probably go back to 8.1 until the next iteration of Android P dev preview is released.
Clean flashed P the day it dropped, flashed magisk and flash when both were updated to support them. Only minor crashes every other day or so.
Playstore has a "huge" bug.Did you have beta apps (like WhatsApp,play services etc)? When you go to the tab "Beta" and try to hit on an application, playstore closes without fc message.
Clean install, no root. Widgets disappear randomly once or twice a day.

Stock launcher or a differnt launcher? I've been using Nova Prime since installing Android P 2 days ago and haven't had any issues with widgets disappearing or malfunctioning.
