Screen on time

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Honor V10 before depleting the battery.

Awesome battery, easily lasts a full day of usage. Even more if you don't play games. I got 6+ hours of SOT with a day and a half usage (attached screen shots) with WiFi and 4G network always on. This was on my normal usage: calls, SMS, Viber, Emails, web surfing, even YouTube videos and now I have 20% battery juice left. Really thumbs up for this device! ??????

I think I made a record. Almost 7,5 hours of SOT. ????

I love this phone:
After a whole day of useage. With playing game (CR), browsing, installing apps, using a huge amount of different apps, auto brightness on, more than 7h SOT and still 9% battery left! Awesome
I have just one little problem, chrome is almost always active...

In my case (Firmware Version B130) the View 10 is a battery monster. Normally I have to charge it after 2 to 3 days.
With heavy usage (mainly youtube, netflix, browsing and hangouts... sorry, I can't upload any Screenshots):
Screen-On Time: 9h28m
System Running Time: 37h34m
-> remaining Battery = 18%
I really ove this phone. Even my beloved LG G2 couldn't reach almost 10h SOT over 1.5 days.
With normal (browsing, texting, youtube, calls) i get:
Screen-On Time: 7h6m
System Running Time: 49h6m
-> remaining Battery = 23%
...sighs...just loving it <3

Yeah.. Loving this phone

Battery life is nuts for the performance. 5 hours on LTE in a low signal area, also took ~140 photos.

I do not understand how you do to do 5 hours of SOT, I at most I make 3 or at most 4. I have everything stock. But I don't use WiFi. 4g signal only. I hope it's not a battery problem

I constantly get 5+ hours on normal use. Little bit of Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, a bit of gaming NFS, calls, SMS... Wi-Fi and 4G are always on, and I charge it every other day.
There's a screenshot of 7,5 hours of SOT, and that was my best. ?

I have seen that also uses wifi though, I do not have the WiFi network at the moment and then I use only the mobile data. But I do use it hard for work. In any way some times I also arrived at 4.5 hours of SOT. It depends substantially on the use and very much from the WiFi network that will save energy. I have not yet had the way to try how the consumptions go using the WiFi.

Usually get 3 to 4 hr sot.. Using 4g all time.. Wifi usually around 6hr

I don't know whether to be a little disappointed with my stats on stock.
As it stands - Used 2d 8hr, 27% left, SOT - 2hr 18.
Sure having bluetooth on and a couple of hours streaming a day is partly to blame.

I often get SOT of around 6 hrs on my device, this includes watching YouTube videos for hr an so, calling, WhatsApp, etc

Around 10 Hours SOT are possible. I use WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube, Chrome, Google News, Camera and some 2.5D Gaming.

I got the Xiaomi Redmi K30 (4G - 6GB+128GB) directly from China through a friend. My very first Xiaomi and boy what an amazing battery this phone has! Coming from Samsung I've been literally blown away. I thought such battery life was always limited to XDA threads and hence this was truly a dream come true lol. And for $250, this has been the cheapest phone I've ever bought. So much value this has to offer.
This is my first charge cycle of the phone.
I am yet to fully move all my apps to the Redmi K30 yet. Only Gmail, other Google apps including Chrome were mainly used with some very light gaming (I'm no gamer). And I uninstalled many of the apps that came with the phone.
Its running MIUI 11.0.3 on Chinese stock ROM. 4G LTE on all day (not connected to WiFi at all). Screen refresh rate set at 120Hz.
Usage was mainly fiddling around with the phone setting it up and installing Google apps, 2 hours of voice calls, 30 mins of videos on YouTube, 15 mins of games. I am yet to drain my battery fully. So halfway through at 50% mark, I have used the phone for over 24 hrs with 4+ SOT.
Stand by drain has been amazing as I've already slept through two nights where battery drained only 1% (!!!) over 6-7 hrs. For me, this battery life is purely insane!
I will post again once I manage to deplete the battery fully.

The battery was finally about to die after 2 days! (48 hrs!!!) With 7 hrs of SOT ?
In addition to the above, I further used the camera to take a few pictures, Maps/GPS and more fiddling around.
4G LTE (mobile data not WiFi) was on and connected throughout using a single SIM. Battery Saver mode was not activated as I wanted to see how far it could stretch. Screen refresh rate set at 120Hz.

Drains fast when 120hz but with 60hz amazing battery life, i must say. Even got 9 hours SOT in 60hz with small games and YouTube on speakers.

11 (ELEVEN) hrs of SOT!!!
3rd Charge Cycle -
Screen refresh rate set at 60Hz
4G LTE on all day (not connected to WiFi at all)
2 hrs of YouTube video/music playback

OK got it, It's about 7 and half hours.. Not bad I guess.. Use 120 hz.. Though use battery saver and location off.. Data is on most of the time

Coming from Galaxy Note 8, the battery life is really impressive. Im on china rom with google play install. 60hz and on wifi all the time. No games. Just watch some videos and surfing the web. And social media such as whatsapp, instagram and telegram is also used. Planning to switch to xiaomu.eu rom after my bootloader has been unlock which I need to wait for 168 hours.
Edit: since I could not upload the image I will just say it. 23 since last charge with over 7 hours sot with 50% battery left.

in my Poco X2, before i got maximum 4 hours SOT with 120hz, then i uninstalled mi pay, security, credit, music, video, browser, mi drop, mi mover, getapps and signed out from miui...cant believe ...my bluetooth, net, hotspot is always on for my office work...but after that i got 11 hours SOT....i recharged my phone now 2 days back...now i know mi bloatware is the main culprit for battery draining and security

I also did remove all those bloatware except security... I have heard that removing security causes some problem, please comment. Also right now i am getting almost 7 hours of screen of time with video streaming, social media and gaming most of the time

6 month old phone, I'm getting only 4hrs SOT on 120hz and 5hrs on 60hz. I don't game, no heavy use, I've almost tried all custom roms and supee debloating my mi rom, still no profit. Idk how to get better battery life at this point, I used to get 12hrs sot in my op5t

i removed almost all bloatware in adb. no power saving turned on, no games,just browsing ,YouTube and Termux

With the 11_a34 firmware the battery life is bad. Max 5 hours SOT on Auto refresh setting.

Up to 8 hrs with light use
I got up to 8 hrs SOT with light use, no gaming, auto refresh-rate, performance mode-balanced. I tried performance mode with some PUBG mobile and got SOT about 4 hrs @ 15%. If you use power saving mode, i think 9 hrs of SOT will be possible. All these are using Wifi, not enabling Mobile data. Your mileage may vary.

I got about 7 hour principally playing (7ds & era of chaos) in forced 90 Hz.
WiFi is attached about 80% and mobile data always on

16 hours with 60% battery DOD(depth of discharge). Spread over 3 days and 3 hours. Web browsing and social media mostly, with some selfies and stuff. Phone connected to towers all the time. No flight mode. Bluetooth, GPS, etc whenever required. Battery saver on (good to reduce standby drain )
You can get another 10 hours with 100% DOD, if you don't want to maximise battery health.
Full day of screen on time!
The CPU is super efficient and Moto has done a great job in optimising it further. Battery feels nuclear.
Samsung M51 can't compete even with a 7000mAh battery. That one lasts longer only in watching porn coz it's Amoled.

Got my MG9P on 27th. Battery seems to be incredible so far - at 67% current SOT 5H 31 min. Phone was charged 23 h ago - first charge to 100%.

The battery life of this is truly amazing. Depending on your use, this will last a long, long time. During normal use, watching videos and the like, the battery drops at a rate of about 3% per hour, which is good, and if it is idle, it drops at 1% every hour.
Easily lasts for 2 days from 100 to 0, and on less use, will last even more.
I charge from 20 to 80 to maximise the longevity of the battery, even still, it lasts me 2 days.
Excellent battery.

everybody get 10+ sot and u have only 6h with 6000mah battery? something is wronk dude

Just bought the G9 to test it's battery-life,
This is my first 100% usage with it, 12h SOT over 1 day++ with 4h of them playing Gc. Guess I could get 15h SOT over 2 days+ with light usage.

Update on last post. Very good battery-life Beats my Asus ROG phone that has the same batterycapacity

everybody gets 14-16 h and u have 6 and this is good? u have half of battery bruh

That's just screen on time, the phone battery lasts for around 2 to 3 days
