I got the Xiaomi Redmi K30 (4G - 6GB+128GB) directly from China through a friend. My very first Xiaomi and boy what an amazing battery this phone has! Coming from Samsung I've been literally blown away. I thought such battery life was always limited to XDA threads and hence this was truly a dream come true lol. And for $250, this has been the cheapest phone I've ever bought. So much value this has to offer.
This is my first charge cycle of the phone.
I am yet to fully move all my apps to the Redmi K30 yet. Only Gmail, other Google apps including Chrome were mainly used with some very light gaming (I'm no gamer). And I uninstalled many of the apps that came with the phone.
Its running MIUI 11.0.3 on Chinese stock ROM. 4G LTE on all day (not connected to WiFi at all). Screen refresh rate set at 120Hz.
Usage was mainly fiddling around with the phone setting it up and installing Google apps, 2 hours of voice calls, 30 mins of videos on YouTube, 15 mins of games. I am yet to drain my battery fully. So halfway through at 50% mark, I have used the phone for over 24 hrs with 4+ SOT.
Stand by drain has been amazing as I've already slept through two nights where battery drained only 1% (!!!) over 6-7 hrs. For me, this battery life is purely insane!
I will post again once I manage to deplete the battery fully.

The battery was finally about to die after 2 days! (48 hrs!!!) With 7 hrs of SOT ?
In addition to the above, I further used the camera to take a few pictures, Maps/GPS and more fiddling around.
4G LTE (mobile data not WiFi) was on and connected throughout using a single SIM. Battery Saver mode was not activated as I wanted to see how far it could stretch. Screen refresh rate set at 120Hz.
Drains fast when 120hz but with 60hz amazing battery life, i must say. Even got 9 hours SOT in 60hz with small games and YouTube on speakers.
11 (ELEVEN) hrs of SOT!!!
3rd Charge Cycle -
Screen refresh rate set at 60Hz
4G LTE on all day (not connected to WiFi at all)

OK got it, It's about 7 and half hours.. Not bad I guess.. Use 120 hz.. Though use battery saver and location off.. Data is on most of the time

in my Poco X2, before i got maximum 4 hours SOT with 120hz, then i uninstalled mi pay, security, credit, music, video, browser, mi drop, mi mover, getapps and signed out from miui...cant believe ...my bluetooth, net, hotspot is always on for my office work...but after that i got 11 hours SOT....i recharged my phone now 2 days back...now i know mi bloatware is the main culprit for battery draining and security

I also did remove all those bloatware except security... I have heard that removing security causes some problem, please comment. Also right now i am getting almost 7 hours of screen of time with video streaming, social media and gaming most of the time
6 month old phone, I'm getting only 4hrs SOT on 120hz and 5hrs on 60hz. I don't game, no heavy use, I've almost tried all custom roms and supee debloating my mi rom, still no profit. Idk how to get better battery life at this point, I used to get 12hrs sot in my op5t

Awesome battery, easily lasts a full day of usage. Even more if you don't play games. I got 6+ hours of SOT with a day and a half usage (attached screen shots) with WiFi and 4G network always on. This was on my normal usage: calls, SMS, Viber, Emails, web surfing, even YouTube videos and now I have 20% battery juice left. Really thumbs up for this device! ??????

In my case (Firmware Version B130) the View 10 is a battery monster. Normally I have to charge it after 2 to 3 days.
With heavy usage (mainly youtube, netflix, browsing and hangouts... sorry, I can't upload any Screenshots):
Screen-On Time: 9h28m
System Running Time: 37h34m
-> remaining Battery = 18%
I really ove this phone. Even my beloved LG G2 couldn't reach almost 10h SOT over 1.5 days.
With normal (browsing, texting, youtube, calls) i get:
Screen-On Time: 7h6m
System Running Time: 49h6m
-> remaining Battery = 23%

Battery life is nuts for the performance. 5 hours on LTE in a low signal area, also took ~140 photos.

I do not understand how you do to do 5 hours of SOT, I at most I make 3 or at most 4. I have everything stock. But I don't use WiFi. 4g signal only. I hope it's not a battery problem
I constantly get 5+ hours on normal use. Little bit of Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, a bit of gaming NFS, calls, SMS... Wi-Fi and 4G are always on, and I charge it every other day.
There's a screenshot of 7,5 hours of SOT, and that was my best. ?

I have seen that also uses wifi though, I do not have the WiFi network at the moment and then I use only the mobile data. But I do use it hard for work. In any way some times I also arrived at 4.5 hours of SOT. It depends substantially on the use and very much from the WiFi network that will save energy. I have not yet had the way to try how the consumptions go using the WiFi.
Usually get 3 to 4 hr sot.. Using 4g all time.. Wifi usually around 6hr
I don't know whether to be a little disappointed with my stats on stock.
As it stands - Used 2d 8hr, 27% left, SOT - 2hr 18.
Sure having bluetooth on and a couple of hours streaming a day is partly to blame.

I often get SOT of around 6 hrs on my device, this includes watching YouTube videos for hr an so, calling, WhatsApp, etc

I'm on xiaomi.eu MIUI 10 open beta so battery life can be better when it's stable. Buts it's pretty decent right now I'm happy with it.
15 percent per hour if display is on. If display off than 0.5 percent.
On my usage I get two days.

The battery is what I was looking for in a smartphone. Constantly using it (web browsing, facebooking, gaming, youtubing, etc.) for a day, it could last around 8hrs or more, playing games heavily it could drop to 6hrs. I have been using the phone for around 2hrs per day, and it could last up to 3 days. Ah, I have Always-On enabled. My rom is still China, waiting for bypass time to unlock it.

So you are on miui 10 beta, i am still on miui 9.6.7, i hope it is not the issue. I put most of my apps to "not running in background", some are set with no restriction. But the system still kills all apps once in a while, i am new to xiaomi phone so I still dont know if this can be disabled or not. I have not installed all of my daily drive apps because I want to unlock the bootloader and flash global rom first, i also hope this is not the issue
My normal standby drain is about 12hrs for 10%. Oh, I do go battery settings to solve any detected issues when I am on break. I also hide the notch.
Battery life is solid, running china dev and i get 2 days with total ot 5+ hours SOT. For a non stop use indoor i can go 8+ hours
xiaomi.eu ROM (up to 8.8.30) drains battery fast, 15-20% per hour with screen on, = maximum of 4.5-5h SOT. With global stable or global beta ROM getting around 8-8.5h SOT, 10-15% during usage.
Yesterday i bought the phone, fully charged and at 25% i got 7h+ screen on time.. which is completely amazing!! Global stable 9.6 here..
You can easily get over 7 hours of SOT, and more than 30 hours on one charge.

With xiaomi.eu oreo i've at least 5h SOT and i can arrive at night with no problem

Very first 1 day, 6 hours of usage after my initial 100% full charge and I'm down to 10% with 7h 12m screen on time so far. And this during a time where I have setup the phone and played extensively around with every function here and there. So far I find it amazing.
Screen on time has been great so far, especially coming from S9+. I got 2 days of usage with 6.5h SOT and 20% battery left while also off screen downloading around 40GB of Tidal data, so SOT could be even higher. The biggest improvement compared to Sammy seems to be cellular data usage. Every Samsung I had, had crazy battery consumption on either 3G or 4G - stand by and SOT drain was 2-3 times higher compared to Wi-Fi. P30 doesn't seem to care whether on Wi-Fi or data and consumes around the same. Oh, and 20 minutes of Asphalt 9 ate 5% and 20 minutes of Wi-Fi Netflix drained 2%. Both on 50% brightness. So far so good.
Not happy with the battery life so far. Screen on time less than 8hours before I need to charge, brightness <50%, saving mode activated and phone only used for Web browsing and whatsapp. Is that normal?

Android 10 emui 10 is better than the 9.1.
With Google Photos setup to work only when I open the be app, location history and background scanning off everything is better them my last phone OnePlus 6T.
I am amazed whit the stability of Emui, even after update without clearing cache. The visual is far better on Android 10. I am very satisfied coming to Huawei from OnePlus.

I have been very happy with battery life so far.

Sot of 7 hours and 5 minutes.
Been of the charger for 15 hours.
Still 16% battery left.
First day of moderate usage with qhd and 90 hz
90 hz fhd betwen 7-8 hours screen on time normal use social media youtube and some light games (except pubg that game is a battery killer ) with quad hd didn't tested yet !
Fourth day with the op7t pro and I've noticed that the screen on time is even worse than on my 3 years old OnePlus 3...
I'm getting 3 to 4 hours of screen on time in normal usage. Google, social media and Netflix/YouTube.
If I start playing games the sot drops below 3 hours
I'll send it back and buy another smartphone. It's not acceptable to have 3 hours of sot for a brand new flagship
have you tried a hard reset in your phone , dark mode , and battery saver as well because 7t pro can do better than that

I have a 6-8 SOT usually (90hz and automatic resolution). Give it some days to stabilize. Battery on first days was bad. Now it's amazing
I average too around 7 hours of sot. Pretty good I would say.
I'm really thinking about giving it a try but SOT is very important to me and no phone has come close to my mate 20 pro this year and I returned every one I tested. But never tried a oneplus so... Wireless charging is really something i would miss for sure so I'm still hesitating. And the mixed results given here don't confort me into buying it...

Well... Now it's even worse. I'm getting like 3 hours (of even less) of screen on time.
Automatic resolution, 90Hz, only wifi, 1/3 of brightness, black/dark mode everywhere, only social media and video (yt and Netflix).
I'll send it back. It's unacceptable for a flagship to get under 3 hours of sot. I have to plug in my OnePlus 7t pro 2-3 times a day

The only kernel that officially supports the T series is Ex Kernel. However, I'm using Kirisakura Kernel atm without any issues on my 7T Pro.

Many threads mention WhatsApp as the culprit. The latest beta should fix the drain.

Im on my first charge 7t pro mclaren. Debloatet it, rooted and now are looking forward to drain it. Charged it to 100% and now im at 98% with screen on time 20minutes but brightness at ~30%

Withing a normal working day with my usage, I reach the evening (from 5:45 am to 10:00 pm) with 30% battery left and from 4 to 6 SoT.
5G antenna and SD865 need a little more power.

This includes social media, waze navigation , camera etc.. not gaming though.
No optimization , no battery saver mode (not even under 20%), gps enables, bluetooth enables , auto brightness.
