Usually I'm quick to pre order but this time was a bit too late to the game, tried to order the 128gb variant on the Samsung UK store, but didn't work. Shows 21st of March as the earliest delivery date and then when you add to basket, it removes it saying there's no stock even though the first page shows there is.
How has everyone else's experience been in the UK, where did your preorder from and when do you expect yours to be delivered?

The discount is what made me order, been saying to the wife I wasn't upgrading. Didn't need to from my S10+ 512GB.
Then found an old email with the discount code and it was ordered... Discount code expired 15/02 so it was fate....

Well worth it for that price. I've currently got the Galaxy Fold, so not sure if I'll enjoy the S20 Ultra more or not.
Anyways just managed to preorder from Curry's, I've never used Curry's to Preorder before so not sure what they're like. Got an email saying I'll get the phone on the 28th of February, which is clearly rubbish on their part.

They will be coming direct from Samsung, I know from previous S10 order from them. So be interesting to see if we get them early like some other direct orders have been doing in US. Be nice to have it Friday for weekend.

EE advised me that the 13th is the official launch for them, not sure if that's nationwide but I'd imagine so judging by what the CS for EE reacted like when I said people have already got the device.

i had only called to ask if it would be much difference in price between the 128gb and the 512gb i told them i would have a think and call back later that day but when i did they said they would have to cancel everything and start over so i told them i will stick with the 128gb
found a week out later they just cancelled everything with this alleged fraud crap ? i replaced the order on 19th feb all good so far
got a text today saying 2 week delay so called them today to be basically told its Because i ordered on 19th wtaf?

Some distributors still believe they will get the shipment this week, but I think this is simply that the sales guys have not been updated.
I have a call in to Samsung to try and establish the exact date and whether any shipment will reach Carphone before the channel - I would be surprised

Shipment delays on launch are always frustrating, but also very common.

I will be pre-ordering probably.. and most probably this week.
I will maybe use unlocked-mobiles to order, however I heard that Royal Mail is not the best service to use.
In my opinion the Galaxy i9000's ROM is nearly full featured. Root will definitely help but it seems already great, and it's one of the reasons I will be choosing this over other phones. Also the good large screen that is good against the sun's reflection.
Edit: Actually it seems complicated to order internationally with unlocked-mobiles. I'll stick to expansys.ca or clove.

Just to let you know that I have never used them before, so don't know how reliable/etc they are. As I say, I emailed them last night and they got back to me before noon today, so at least their customer service is pretty good.
For me it is easy to recommend Chris Love's Clove Technology.
I've known Chris for the best part of 20yrs and have never come across any other seller who is committed so highly to his customer base.
Clove are a reliable Family run business where they extend their family approach out to their customers.
They may not be the cheapest but you can guarantee if your phone develops a problem you can easily turn to Clove.
I heard also that Clove has great customer service and very reliable even for international shipping.

Awesome! I would love to get one as early as that! I have been waiting since it was announced, and I am so impatient...
I am put off Vodafone as their "unlimited" internet is 500mb/month, while t-mobile is 1gb (does anyone know if they will give 3gb if you tell them you are using an android device, even if they don't sell it to you? They have a 3gb allowance for android in their fair usage policy)
Do mobiles.co.uk sell unlocked phones? That would be neat, because I hate branding and the apps that the networks install. Hence why I am favouring unlocked (sim-free) phones now rather than waiting for the contracts to be announced.
Yep, all their mobiles are unbranded and unlocked. Am not too worried about the internet allowance, I tend to do the big stuff within WiFi range. But I think those caps will have to grow as more people start using android phones.
I'm so jealous right now even though i got a nexus one this phone is amazing i really hope T-mobile USA gets this.

I read somewhere that Samsung are releasing a T959-or similar which is a Galaxy S without the i9000 label. Usually the Samsung Txxx phones are T-mobile USA, apparently. So it's looking good for a T-mobile release over there.
Rumours are that all your 4 (?) major carriers are getting it. I hope something similar happens here: Nothing like good competition to bring prices down...

You need a discount code from your Dell Account manager then you can ring the EPP hotline and order at the discounted price... normally its a 3% discount but the Streak is an extra 7% off until July 31st... As far as I'm aware the discount is available to employees of any company with a corporate account at Dell, including NHS, Local Govt., etc.

I ordered 29th of June and my EDD was 19th July but yesterday they called me to tell that they are out of stock. After that phone call I noticed that my order was cancelled. Of course I contacted their live chat to ask what is going on and they apologised and asked if I remember who called me but I did not remember the name. After that they called me back to confirm new order so my new order is 5th July and delivery date is still 19th July but when I asked when it will be delivered I was told that 2-3 working days so I asked again if it will be this week and it was confirmed that Yes it will be this week as my order already finished production period.
So probably the container from china is already somewhere in the docks.
I think i will give them a phone watch this space

I ordered one about an hour ago. I got an order number and customer ID in the confirmation email just like every other Dell purchase.Even though I chose 3-5 day shipping in the cart, the status page is showing 7 day shipping and a 12/27/10 est. delivery date.
And the link on the twitter hashtag #dellvenuepro still seems to be working even though the pocketnow article says they pulled it.

I did next day too - expected delivery date is 12/14.
I had to call Dell and cancel the previous order I'd placed yesterday through the FS link, before it would accept the Accessory coupon mentioned in the previous page. The delivery estimate for that order was 12/22. Once cancelled (over the phone), I ordered again in the (what I assume is now the) legit way, and got $50 off, but picked one-day shipping versus 2-day. Total price difference after tax was about $36, but the delivery estimate is 8 days earlier - worth the effort in my opinion

Just FYI I bought the 16G full price $499 with free 2nd day delivey.
Well when i ordered my Venue i got a delivery of the 15th. I also ordered a Duo with a delivery date of the 26th. Just got an update the Duo is shipped with delivery tomorrow Heres to hoping the Venue will soon follow
Ordered mine yesterday didn't want them to sell out again!
They seemed to have pulled it again.. I was waiting for my upgrade status at Tmobile to be fixed. This is pissing me off.. I am stuck with a old Nokia flip phone as I had to send my HD7 back to Tmo.
Dell needs to sh*t or get off the pot already.... this putting on the site and then pulling it retarded.
Now its back up.. WTF Dell..! This really should give me pause to even buy it..

Come on guys, every phone has issues when it comes out. Luckily for us the Venue Pro is DELL's signature WP7 phone so they can focus on it, unlike HTC.
They can improve it by updates and other stuff.
Everyone is worrying just a bit too much.
The reason I asked is because I ordered my Samsung galaxy note from phones4u on Thursday, as I read on google the release date was the 3rd. I saw it on phones4u with a deal with orange. and I bought it.
Anyhow, I was told the following day (Friday) after calling them that the phone was on pre-order, and it would be with me at 11.11.2011 at the latest!
So basically I am confused, I've read on various forums that others ordered it around the same time and received it the next day, and this is all from phones4u!
Anyone else in a similar situation?

Hey man, did you get your phone yet?
I upgraded my vodafone contract early with phones4u yesterday to the Note (from Galaxy S). They said 3 - 5 working days yada yada. I went on the online chat today just to ask if they had a more accurate date so I could arrange to be in, but the woman told me it's not released until the 17th... I'm assuming she was confusing the Note with the Nexus and gave up in the end.
Got my phone from phones4u. Just walked in to my local store and walked out with the phone, simples. This was on the release day and not online, I think you will have better luck by going in store.
Dialaphone woes
I ordered mine over a week ago from Dialaphone (subsidary of Phones4U) they gave me a delivery date of 11th November, but emailed me late last night to say no stock. Hmm.. I did an anonymous cold call to them earlier in the week, they said same thing but failed to let me know that my phone was never going to arrive today.
Luckily I ordered one from Handtec, and it arrived within 24hrs yesterday. When the Dialaphone one eventually arrives I will tell them to shove it!
Crap customer service, but Handtec saved the day with 100% satisfaction.
PS the SG Note is a dream to use!
Yeah I just walked in to phones4u on release day and bought it there and then on a brand new orange contract.
Phones4u are now saying they're awaiting stock, but still saying the "release date" is the 17th. Oh well. If I'm luck I'll get it by Friday!
Wondering if this is because I'm going through the upgrades section. I know phone companies keep their stock for new customers and for upgrades completely separate sometimes. Suppose it means they can get new customers on to contracts as quickly as possible, and keep those existing customers on hold for a while.
Either way, I can't fecking wait.
Spoke to phones4u this morning, as today (17th November) is the day they claimed that the Galaxy Note was being "released".
I have been told that they've got stock and that it's being delivered to me on Monday, so fingers crossed!
I also asked about email confirmation, as I didn't get any - at all. Apparently this is because the upgrades process is "nearly completely manual". Suppose that would make sense, and also explain why it's difficult to get stock levels accurate.
Really hope it's here by Monday!
I had the same issue going through phones4u to upgrade my orange contract and the online chat system is useless, i was told that there was no stock of the handsets by the online people, but when i spoke to an account manager they said there where plenty and it was orange who did not want me to get the deal phones4u had offered as it was reserved for new customers!!
So basically i told orange i would go to another company ie vodafone or someone like that and they soon changed there tune so now today the 17th i am waiting for royal mail to drop mine off........
still no joy with phones4u. Just phoned them and apparently they've had trouble getting the transaction to go through the till, but it should be being dispatched by special delivery this afternoon. at which point I should FINALLY get some form of email confirmation.
*sigh*
I ordered the One from very.co.uk today and noticed it stated delivery was before the 25th March, seems odd that apart from P4U it seems everyone is quoting the 29th!

Hi all, yes it is expensive, but I get to pay over three months, plus I get 10% off as a new customer plus 7% cashback via topcashback so overall by my calculations it works out cheaper :fingers-crossed:

"Delivery by 03/04/2013"
was it just updated recently? (0.o)
I spoke to the guys at 3 today via their sales team and they stated that they have the Silver in stock and would be delivered tomorrow should I order today the black one however isn't expected until 03/04/2013

Mines also saying the 25th. Perhaps there are more delays

What! I ordered from 3 yesterday an they said mine will be with me on 28th this month
Mines showing delivery Monday 25th but its not dispatched.
I ordered mine through Very with the same date of the 25th. Seeing as it was cheaper to pay for over couple of months. However after calling them 4 times to find out when I was going to receive the device I was given the suppliers number to call which turned out to be Nokia Support. I have since cancelled the order with Very and taken out a contract with 3 instead. Device should be with me by the 28th. Hopefully.

Hahaha! This made my day! lol I wonder what could have happened if some less knowledgeable people got that response They could have called nokia and inquired about HTC Epic fail!

Popped into P4U in Northampton yesterday for a look, they had it advertised as sim free for £459, asked if they had any in stock and he told me yes but not for sim only and that would be a few weeks, which is a lie as other people on here said they went to same store and bough one. Plus I want to be able to return it if build quality is pants and can't if bought in store.

Interesting and annoying that different stores have different prices for sim free.
I will be in that area next Friday but by that time Asda may have shipped mine so would need to go through hassle of returning it and refund for £40 saving.

On that basis, I will be taking the day off work on Monday and if it does not arrive I will be certainly giving them a piece of my mind. I have no confidence that it will be here/there on the 25th or 27th for that matter.
People buying from Very Handtec and Asda are all in the same boat. We have no actual ides when we will get our phones.
Only places that seem to give a realistic date is Three as they delivered phones this week as advertised.
