I leave my htc shift at home. I found that its quite A HANDICAPPED device. Windows mobile is useless as the ram is so tiny. After liberating it and putting just a few software it runs out of memory. I cannot access the SD card. Although some guys here are trying, this should have been the job of HTC. Those HTC programmers are truly sleeping or simply lacking in talent. To have Vista on this device is a joke. Why can't they learn from OQO or Asus EE where they realize the user experience is better with XP on such a small device.

Even if there is, the weight will increase to 950gm. 100 grams more will get me a Sony TZ 18GN which last for at least 8 hours, on a big screen. Forget about HTC SHift. This is a pure waste of money.

I think you end up with this because you haven't done enough research. All your points are well known issue but certainly there are quite a few advantage that no other device have. That's why there are people happy with this device. EEE doesn't suit everyone's need, same as sony, same as Shift, don't blame Hugo for this, it's your own mistake not to do research and think whether this device suits you.
Lastly, don't blame HTC too, and bring back DOPOD won't help at all, you should do some research about dopod and HTC too, they are not separate company, dopod=HTC.

yes, I agree with your points. Everything was known or could be known. But there is one thing I find unbelievable. It is the arrogance or sheer stupidity how HTC treats its costumers. The support is lousy, more than lousy. I have sent them 3 emails, but I do not get any answer.
That they treat us like idiots is beyond me, as they should be aware that this arrogance might spread over the net and might lash back hitting a dent in their reputation if there is any reputation to lose when it comes to consumer support.

I really disagree your point of view about Vista.. Vista is the best OS I know... and it's the best solution for them to put Vista on it.
Sure the lack of ram is really sad (but it's still better than the HTC TOUCH because of the better CPU).

yeah sure... a year after the demonstration .... they should have a "good" support.
I think that HTC is lacking knowledges about support.... I have sent them a mail for 2 big issues I have with the HTC TOUCH and never get any answer
They'll send you a customer feedback email soon,asking what you thought of their service. Ironic, considering therell be no service to speak of!!

At least I have to agree with some parts of your oppinion.
Yes, we have to face the trouth: what you get for your money is a crippled pocket pc and a limited pc. Both parts, pocket pc as well as the pc part doesn't meet the today's specifications for mobile computing.
Sure, it's sad. I also longed for this device, but after studing the forum and all the problems I also decided not to buy the shift.

i must say that Sangri-la is fantastic! for many many features. esthetic, tecnique portability, display. i'm enthusiastic about it.
but there some issues that almost make to hate this jewel.
1 snapview and not winmo
2 blocked sd
3 very limited ram
4 no gps
5 no phone (i know that the device is not compliant with comfort etcetc) but some call with an auricolar..
6 no bluetooth and no wi-fi!! why why why!!
7 only 1gb of ram!! i love vista, i use it on all my pc's and laptop, but is a very bulls###t to put an os with this weight on a machine like shift
8 no cd, no driver to make an individual installation of many versions of os
and i think some others things.
but the reality is that this machine is marvelous.
htc made some big mistakes with it.

I LOVE my Shift - maybe because i bought a Tiny VISTA PC, not a big WindowsMobile Device.
Why is the shift shipped with Vista?? Well, remember: Microsoft will stop shipping XP in June. Yeah, there are ways arround (Vista with XP downgrade rights) - but as the Shift is not a low cost device, it can't participate in Microsofts new XP for lowcost devices approach.
Regarding the WindowsMobile part: BLAME DUALCOR! They patented the idea of a DualCore-Subnotebook - HTC had no other choice to design the Shift arround their patents. THIS is the main reason for the extremly limited WindowsMobile Part (remember: They sell you SnapVUE, not WindowsMobile, and yeeeeees, i know that SnapVUE is a crapped down WindowsMobile flavour).
The only thing i'd blame HTC for is the bad support - it was really hard to get SP1 running correctly (well, nearly correctly).
i love my shift and do not want to miss it anymore....
sure, it has a few points (already mentioned) which could be improved. but i replaced a notebook with this device - and with snapvue the battery lasts longer..
I think what we all agree on is that the shift is not perfect.
But many of us, myself included think that it is the best solution out there.
If someone stole my shift and replaced it with the cash equivelent, I'd be straight out to the shops to buy another one.

The Shift is the best PC/PPC I have had in my life.
There are some problems (SD-Card, 3G-Connection is slowly),
but I can take it every day with me. And this is for me very importend.
Bevore the Shift was coming I was going with Ameo (Advantage) and with my Thinkpad T60p. This was a big bagage for every day.
Now I take my Shift and all is good.
I think that some updates will help in the next furture to solve the problems.

My SHIFT has both Bluetooth and WiFi, not in WM but in Vista (where I want it).
I too would like 2GB, but I've been able to run all Office Plus apps (especially OneNote) without any major issues. I don't open or leave open a bunch of windows, device ISN'T a full fledged notebook so I don't treat it as one.
I agree with the lack of drivers issue, but HTC isn't exactly known for their stellar support. We should start some blog, website about the poor support in order to put a bigger public face on it.
My BIG complaint is the lack of backlighting for the keyboard, unless I missed how to enable it.
the keyboard is wonderful .. and there exist usb-light if you want to lighten up (enlighten?) the keyboard.
Vista has 2 virtual/visual keyboards... so even with no backlight, it's not that important to have the light.
are you using the shift in the dark to write a text? If yes, it's not good for you and you should use a light somewhere in the room.

there are manu people here with all kinds of noteboos, apple etc, but they all have 15,4 or 14 notebooks,
and everyone is watching my shift.. and they all envies it..

I really, really agree with you. The support of HTC is a pain in the behind. I do not know enough about the practical side of things, but yes, we should try to put pressure on them to change their practice. But as I said I do not know how to do it.
In sort of regular intervals I send them the same email, so far three without any success of an answer.
Yes, key backlight would be a nice thing. If you have to spare some bucks maybe the Logitech dinovo mini is the gadget to satisfy the last of your wishes.

was wondering we should inform htc about this forum? So many unhappy users. their support is so bad they will probably agree. Probably they are busy applying jobs to work in Sony or Asus
An official complain would be fine. Some sort of petition with some signatures should also be good. However let's not forget that the site xda-developers who's activities includes hacking phones and making rom's, this site's users are telling htc something like "hey htc, give some drivers and better support (so we can hack the shift in a safer and more productive maner)". i don't think they will bother.
They aren't that stupid not to realise that the shift could have been a better device if it had (...) . So there must be something or some serious reasons making them to take this position.
Hey guys, like i said in in the title (and having been on xda for a while) I hate myself for posting a "should i buy" thread, but i think i must have missed something.
As far as i see it the vega has pretty much the same spec as tablets double its price (thinking xoom / eee transforma) and yet the only difference i can see is the shipped android version and 1.2ghs processor vs 1.0ghz in the vega.
I have a HD2 and am happy flashing and running custom roms (running Android on my HD2) so as far as I see it i can get honeycomb flashed in the not too distant future when the boys finish the ROM build and just overclock to 1.4ghz and I am away.
And here in lies my question really, is the touchscreen nice to use? Whats the viewing angle like? HDMI out actually any good in the real world? Anyone use the tablet for work and not just media?
I would like to be able to use an openoffice / MS application on my tablet and if i could connect it up to projectors/tvs via hdmi for presentations and media that would be a real bonus - but only if it actually looks decent and works well.
Thanks for the time taken to read this, I am serious about buying but dont want to waste cash on the vega if people think the eee transforma would be more suitable.

Sorry for rippling questions in, i guess im just trying to work out what i would get extra for over twice the cash in a xoom / eee.
The key difference in price seems to be tied to screen quality and what the big names think they can get away with charging. Clearly the Motorola has a much better screen display than the Vega. However, for the price, the Vega is great for trying things out. There are a number of different user ROM's available and you can see how to push the technology without worrying about messing up your 'expensive' tablet. Also the Vega is UNBRICKABLE.
I use QuickOffice HD on the Vega and find it able to cope with MS Office 2010 Docs and Spreadsheets with no major issues.
I usee quickoffice works a treat also corvus and newbe5 have created a honeycomb port which is still in progress but something to look towards to if you buy one

Also, whats the max internal storage i can get 16gb microsd? Will USB thumb drives autmount when inserted?
And can you charge the advent via usb?
(I should say im out of the uk at the moment hence why i cant see the advent but can get vat free - gives with one hand..)

I have an old-batch Vega, with a worse screen, and I'm not unhappy with it (it can be testy, but it works). The new batch has better screens, more responsive, so the main qualm against the device is partially deflected. For 160 punds you cannot go wrong: it's a super-budget price for a quite capable tablet. Right now there are new smartphones which are not up to the horsepower of an Advent Vega. And if you overclock it... oh boy. 1,4 Ghz at your service. Believe me, the Advent Vega is a steal.
I am running with a 32GB Micro SDHC which I think is the max it can take. You need to get the system into USB Host mode, which needs some changes either to the stock rom, or use one of the very good alternate roms, if you want to plug a USB Stick onto it, but you shouldn't have the need.
I don't think the Xoom is worth the extra at the moment while I am still assessing whether the tablet is an indispensable device for daily use. I do use the Vega daily though and find the screen fine if a little tight on brightness and viewing angle.
There is an over-clock kernel available here now that also gets the Vega to out-perform the Xoom.
32gb would be perfect - and im pretty much mind made up.

Overclock to 1.2 as a starter for 10
Android 3 when the boys get round to finishing it.

I tried Amazon (only shows POV Mobii and for 280 pounds (!) which makes me feel like i´m being robbed) Ebay and other known on-line shops to no success.
Can anyone tell me where can I order this device (and identical ones as told before) on-line within EU? The ones I come across with at Ebay are from UK and none of them ship to Portugal, which is a shame.
Although I have the possibility I refuse to pay 500€+ for a device that otherwise would cost half if there was none of this tablet hype thingy messing with the markets (Shame on you Mr. Jobs).

If you are still unclear, Advent are a firm under the Currys/PCWorld brand and only operate in the UK.
If you can find someone who is willing to buy for you (for a 'fee' maybe), then that is prob the best way to go.

I want to buy a tablet and I'm hesitant between the 10.1 and the iPad 2. I'm no expert and they both seem somehow identical to me, in your opinion what are the main differences and your recommendations. Thanks in advance!

I'm just a junior member here, too, so I'm hoping not to get flamed on this one, but...
the biggest difference between the SG Tab 10.1 and the iPad2 is going to be the OS. Android vs iOS, the age-old debate.
I personally prefer Android, due to the possibility to delve into the innermost workings make adjustments, tweaks and change stuff to the way I like it. iOS is a bit cleaner, and faster, but without some serious hacking you can't change very much of the inner workings. Its like buying a Lambo or an old muscle car (a GTO for example), they're both going to be fast...but chances are, if you want to modify or adjust something, its going to be a hell of a lot easier on the muscle car (Android). Whereas when you open the Lambo's (iOS) hood, you only see plastic housing which hides all of the real machinery.
Sure, the hardware specs are also going to vary a bit, but that's misleading because Apple products can do a lot with a lot less. But they're both going to be fast tablets, that basically have the computing power of an average notebook (excluding enterprise or gaming laptop).
But the reason I wanted to reply, is to suggest that you wait a month (or a couple of weeks) and check out the Asus Transformer Prime. The hardware specs are sic, and (again, on paper) dwarf the SGTab and the iPad. Don't get me wrong, I wanted a SGTab until about 2 weeks ago, too. But the Asus will beat them both, if my assumptions are correct.

Not sure why you would come to a Samsumg Tab forum to see if people would recommend the iPad... But seriously, there may be other places on the web where you would get a balanced view. I love the Samsung.

When people ask me for a recommendation the first questions I ask are, "Do you have a Smartphone and what OS is it, iOS or Android? How invested (paid apps) in your OS are you?" and, "Exactly what are you planning to use the tablet for?"
Once they answer those questions then I can give them an honest opinion.
Me? I was looking for something to replace my 11.6" netbook for travel and general email/internet use. My 10.1 is perfect for my needs. Spent a week in NYC with my Tab and didn't miss the netbook once. (plus getting it for $100 off at Staples didn't hurt either)

The big question is what does that quad core get you. It is no easy task coding a thread efficient app. gods it took like 6 years before any core advantaged apps came out for the pc and those are still far n few to this day. Reality is most of your android apps in the next 2 years will be single threaded which means all things being equal frequency not core count is your performance driver. You might get some advantage in multitasking but that remains to be seen how the os takes advantage of the cores

I used to have an iPhone 3GS and a iPod Touch 3G 64GB. After moving to an Android device (phone), and later on getting the Samsung Galaxy 10.1" wifi model, I am extremely happy that I switched to Android. It's so much less locked down, and the flexibility is there to do just about anything.

* Widgets

The only major complaint I have is User Interface (UI) performance, however I am confident that Ice Cream Sandwich will be solving much of that with GPU UI rendering. I really can't wait to get a solid build of ICS on my Galaxy 10.1 ... it's going to be incredible! The hardware is *perfect* except for the lack of a SD card slot -- either way, that doesn't bother me too much. I can store a full season of TV shows on the smaller 16GB size.

But from what M_Shaaban said he doesn't want to do any of that with his device. He just wants to read email.. facebook and browse the internet.

For right now, probably yes. If you think longer term, once he gets a tablet, he may end up wanting to do more with it, once he realizes what it's capable of.
IMO, the iPad is nice and easy because Apple just blew up an iPod. With the same restrictions, the biggest is still having to rely on outside sources provided by apple. So if your on a plane you wont have access to documents and other such files that an iPod would not support.
Galaxy Tab using Android can run completely independant. And I think that's how people get confused. Trying to make it work like an old palm or apple device. ”How do I make it work with my computer”. My answer is always , I don't! Except to transfer large volumes of media or documents. Free music downloads? Yup. Torrenting? sure. Document viewing, editing and creation and stored locally? Done. If you want a cloud service you can choose from a variety of sources for that. And the best part for me? Using Gmail syncing, my tab, RAZR, and even my BlackBerry and N8 are in sync OTA (meaning cross platform abilities). My computer is literally for storage these days. Or flashing Odin or other hacker style stuff.

I didn't mean say that the quad core will make all the difference. Point well made, to multi-threaded apps. I've only been coding for about 3 years, and have only been recently introduced to multi-threading. I say 'introduced' because I've basically only seen it in a classroom environment as basically a proof of concept. We never got into the useful aspects of it. But I would think that multi-cores could dramatically improve multi-tasking. But again, I'm a layperson in these respects and not ashamed to admit that I'm in this conversation over my head.
I think the biggest advantage (aside from weight, dimensions, and aforementioned computing power) of the Asus over the SGTab is ICS. ICS does have some pretty cool features and although the Asus is being shipped with Honeycomb, its upgrade ready. This could be better for a novice user in that he could receive the upgrade without having to root brand new hardware.
For your requirements of facebook, email and internet, I recommended an iPad 2. It's simple, easy to use, and pretty much works out of the box. No tinkering required (or allowed). It has a better GPU, too, if you decide to do a little mobile gaming.
If eventually, you decide you want more out of tablet than what iOS can offer, you can always sell it and get an android tablet. Apple products are easy to sell and have, generally, a higher resale value compared to android devices.
As for me, I'm immensely enjoying my Galaxy Tab 10.1. I thought about waiting for the Transformer Prime, but I realized that for my needs, the Galaxy tab is more than capable. Email, internet, books, comics, movies and the occasional wind-up knight.

To help you understand more about two tablets I would suggest that you give the community a bit more information on what you gonna do with the tablet?
Is it just for basic stuff? (Internet,Email,Videos)
Or are you going to use it more for gaming?
Pretty sure that once you clarified that, people would start helping you properly.
I needed a tablet, to write, surf, multimedia device, etc. As I also needed a new phone I wanted them to link easily.
I purchased the GT 10.1 3G 16GB for about USD 650/- and added to it Samsung Galaxy Y for about USD 125. The screen resolution of the phone is not the greatest, but I don't care as I carry normally in any case the tablet.
For less then USD 800, I got an in my opinion excellent phone and a great tablet, which do everything I need. Had no problems with Norton rings, or any light leakage worth mentioning. Market is great. Even Adobe Touch applications came earlier on Android market then the Apple App store. This maybe tells something about what the future holds.
Apple is known for selling outdated tech for outrageous prices. So, if you are not a diehard apple fan, I would think thrice, before I dump my money into something which is not only expensive for the tech offered, but also limits my choice for the simple reason, that the former CEO of Apple, believed that all customers are complete idiots who can not make a choice for themselves.
Ipad is so limited, no Widgets, no flash support, even email is limited to attach photos only unless you use a third party application to send a document file for example, if you received a wmv file by email for example you cannot play it because it's not supported by apple...
Android is simple to use and you can do everything you need.

I hope the other OEM's start taking their designs a bit more serious. Nokia will make them look like chumps if they do what they've been doing for years, and what they've done on phones up until this point.
I'm sure the OEM's realize this because its going to be just like what Nokia is going to do for Windows Phones if they go into the tablet market with a vengeance. They will stand out tall, in stark contrast to the cookie cutter habits of Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Dell, HP ect.
Very excited for whatever Nokia may come up with. If the aesthetic is anywhere close to the Lumia800 with decent battery life, this could be a killer Win8 tab.
Now its hard to decide if I save pennies for this or the Asus Transformer Win8 tab, which they will surely do...

No more 1500$ windows tablets...nokia and my other favorite manufacturer have had hardware that trumps apple since day one...its time to regain some of that market share back!!!

$200 is a very tough, very established pricepoint to attempt to compete with. Might be better to risk $2-3billion on directly competing with the ipad in terms of hardware quality and pricepoints, given that its going to be fairly obvious within 2-3 months if there is any future in w8 tabs.
I also would definitely not attempt to launch anywhere near an ipad update. That would guarantee failure.

My Gut tells me, it will not be a high priced device....it is not going to be an X86 version.
It's Windows 8 on Arm, so it is going to be seriously priced around many Android Tablets.
Unless your going to get a 4G +WiFi model.
I'm good with a WiFi only and hot spot my Radar for data.
to be honest, id jump at an x86 Nokia Tablet, just as i would the New WP7 Nokia 900, (but only once its cracked open!, my HD2 will do for now) the whole idea of an Arm tablet doesnt interest me, but thats personal, an no fault of an ARM system. alas unless Intel gets its finger out with some lower power CPUs ill need to wait a bit longer, the prices just now are far to high, im not even looking for serious CPU power, i just want x86 instruction sets!

I know allot of people are excited about Win8 on ARM. I understand the power consumption/management and price point benefits to building a system on ARM. However, Win8 on ARM will only be able to run programs specifically written for ARM architecture. In my mind this kills the best thing about having a windows tablet, the ability to install any program written for x86. That means Photoshop, autocad, office, or any of your favorite PC games written in the last 30 years. For me thats a deal killer. Sure, we might see something comparable to these cooked up for the win8 store, but they will be just that...cooked up and watered down...anybody else who has played with Photoshop from the android market and compared its function to the real photoshop running on a windows x86 tablet knows exactly what i mean.
Its not that I think WIN8 on ARM will be useless, or that it wont find its place in the market, with a name like Microsoft, im sure it will do fine. It will do fine as a media consumption device, not the high performance business tool which WIN8 on x86 is. Having 30 years of programming for the most successful architecture at your fingertips is pretty freaking amazing, and now that ive bought x86 windows, i wont be going back.
Bottom line WIN8 on ARM will do fine, but it will be just another media consumption device, probably priced around the ipad/Adroid tablet range and end up with about the same plethora of small semi functional touch programs and games. For working professionals, or hardcore gamers, the x86 structure and history is the way to go.
For the gamers out there ill lay it down like this:
best Android games: Angry Birds, Words with friends, a port of GTA3
best ipad games: Angry Birds, Words with friends
best WIN8ARM games: Angry Birds, Words with friends, Cut the rope

I'm debating on getting this tablet Android version or getting the Asus transformer mini(T102HA) Windows version.
Is the yoga book worth $399 or should I look into the ASUS?
As for usage I just need to be able to take notes, watch videos (YouTube, FreeflixHD,Koko time, ECT) check emails and web Browsing.
It would help to get some input from real users of the yoga book to help me narrow it down some..

That's an "apples and oranges" question, the answer to which depends how you feel about Android vs. Windows.
Speaking personally, I find the Windows tablet interface to be *horrible*; add in the much higher screen resolution on the YB, and I'll take the YB any day.
If you have to do any "real" work, however, I would prefer Windows (using the desktop interface, not the tablet interface) for the much wider range of software available and compatibility with peripherals such as printers.
Im leaning more towards an Android tablet or 2 in 1 like the the yogabook simple because I can do everything I need on a Android Device.

I used to lug around in a 14.1 inch windows 10 notebook, but it got too heavy as the day went on. (I work out in the field)
Then I moved to a windows convertible netbook, and when I got the Yoga Book android, I have sinced used it on a daily basis, as I have migrated all my reports over to Google Docs so the interface on that is the same whether I'm on a Windows device or an android device as you use a browser anyways.
For quick local documents, Office for Android does its job. Though I admit, it is a bit easier on the netbook with physical keys and the familiarity of some windows apps (like paint and paint.net for example), but the portability is more than enough to make up for it, not to mention the proper layout of apps on the tablet interface of Android as compared to the Windows one.
I just saw the Android model YB1-X90F at Walmart for $249. Almost tempted to buy a second one at that price but it may go even lower considering Lenovo didn't properly push this to market which makes consumers think it is essentially no better than most other devices. I love mine. It is a tad heavier than most tabs but the Halo keyboard once you get used to using it seals the deal imho. Really like being able to take notes and draw on it as well. I cannot play my "Shield" only games (Nvidia Lightspeed Studio stuff) on it but for me that was a small price to pay to have an Android tablet that I can keep updated without losing major features. Otherwise it is powerful and plays everything else I enjoy without a hiccup.
Personally I played with the Windows version of this tab once and felt for the price the experience was less than stellar. Admittedly I didn't fuss to long.
One item to note for both, this is another personal preference item, but I despise the glare of the screen and immediately after buying this device installed a matte finish protector, much better.

Wow that's a great price I just saw it at my local Walmart for $399 but they may have not put up the correct prices as the sticker said the Android version was $499 and the Windows was $599 but then they had a bland tag that said $399? Confused yes
I have one still - couldn't get anyone to accept it from me as a gift (Lenovo has a poor rep around here). Went back to my sammy s10.5. BUT I take the yoga with me travelling: it's light and unobtrusive, good enough screen for airport video, and the sound is expecially good. Good for notes, except be careful with the keyboard if there is any movement: easily miiss keys.

In store is where I saw it, actual device (at least two of them still) and price. I also can look up online and plug in my local store which does show the price of $249 but online states it is out of stock.

The price is really good. Just gotta find a store in my location that has them? Too bad Best Buy doesn't have it..
IMO I would skip it. It's utility is decent but there is minimal support from Lenovo and if you run into problems, your only option is to warranty repair it or factory reset. If you can't fix it with a reset, you can't fix it. Lenovo has not provided the necessary tools to reimage the device and start fresh. Not saying it's going to happen but if it does, you're out of luck. I would get a tablet from a manufacturer that is willing to invest at least some of their resources into supporting it. The update for Nougat isn't even scheduled until AFTER Android O drops. And I'm guessing given Lenovo's attention so far, that will probably be where the updates end.

Off the top of my head Samsung, HTC, Google, all of them have software that allow you to re-image from a stock image. A factory reset won't fix corruption in the boot sector, or some types of malware. Right now I'm dealing with this very specific issue on mine. The latest update won't install because it failed the first time and now says there is something in the boot partition that doesn't match the old checksum. Sounds to me like it wrote the new boot and failed on the system update. But without a tool like Samsung Kies for my S7, I can't flash a clean image. Have an issue on my Pixel, phone or tablet and I can fastboot flash a nice clean image.
That's why I got the Windows Version. I don't see Android on Intel Motherboards. The hassle with a cropped Insyde Bios etc...

Write it new. Use Fastboot to rewrite the boot image...
Get one of the ROM's here in XDA, unpack it and flash each image manually so you can see if something goes wrong during the flashing...
This is are the steps I use on my Lenovo Tab. The boot image the last one to make sure none of the previous write on it...
Fastboot flash cache (cache.img)
Fastboot erase splash
Fastboot flash splash (splash.img)
Fastboot flash system (system.img)
Fastboot flash recovery (recovery.img)
Fastboot flash userdata (userdata.img)
Fastboot flash boot (boot.img)
That's the plan, and I can then understand if you have the windows version why you would recommend it. Honestly I was solidly behind even the Android version when I first got it. It's not until I ran into firmware issues that I realized how little effort Lenovo has put into support for the Android version. I have to pay $15 to Easy Firmware to get the software image. With the windows version all your updates will be handled by Microsoft and the system will be supported until it can't run the latest version of windows. And in that case I would recommend it as well.

I got the Windows Version mainly because as mentioned I don't see android on Intel Based Mainboards. I wanted a Wacom replacement for on the go. Networking with Android is just bull****. Yes I know there are solutions, but why the headache? I interchange data between the different Workstations to often so I avoid having all the hassle. Even tough everyone praises the Cloud, interchanging data with Windows is so much faster and comfortable... As soon as I have time I will even publish a trick how to use the Halo surface as external Wacom replacement over the network.
