looking for a specific zenpad root guide if it exists - Asus ZenPad 10 Questions & Answers

The model is p00i and it's on Android 7.0 from Verizon. I can't find that exact model here and don't want to try something that is meant for another model

Hi there,
I just picked up this tablet as well they other day. Mine was bought on Ebay and the bootloader is unlocked. So, root should be definitely attainable. I'll read through the threads for the already successfully rooted model numbers and compare the specs to ours to see if it can be done.

Couple of ?s

I just bought a N109C international unlocked Note 4 off of Craigslist for only $100. I'm a little shocked myself lol. My build is 5.1.1 though. When I search for updates it doesn't find marshmallow. Is there anything I can do to send it to my phone? I don't have a computer to update manually. Also is root unable to be obtained after marshmallow ?

Questions related to ASUS devices

Hi devs, i like to ask some questions about the model Asus X00DDA:
1. Im a bit confused in this model, it has this X00DDA but when i search it in google, it shows the model ZC**** something like that. Can someone would lighten this up.
2. Since idk what are the specs, even in the box it is not detailed, for example idk what kindof chipset this device has because that is required for developing for this model.
3. I know that this is a dumb question but is this thing's bootloader is unlockable, if YES then we'll go but if it's a NO then i guess i stick with a stock Nougat instead.
Thanks, i hope someone will reply
Each device has two model numbers.
Specs: http://gsmarena.com/asus_zenfone_3_max_zc553kl-8425.php
And the bootloader is not unlockable.

Answers:
1) There are 2 model numbers for a device (eg: ZC553KL= X00DDA)
2) Snapdragon 430
3) The bootloader is not unlockable ( You can request ASUS to release Unlock Bootloader Tool app on ZenTalk)

Samsung Unlocked S10+ G975U1. Is this SD or Exynos, and is it possible to unlock BL?

Woke up to my phone being delivered today =D. However, I haven't found if this is the version with the SD chip or the Exynos chip. Also, I'd like to know if anyone knows for sure yet if this versions bootloader can be unlocked, as I would like to root it when possible. Also if someone can explain the difference between unlocked BL root and locked BL root that'd be great. What can one do that the other can't? I'm still not too sure what I want to do with the root other than some status bar customization, ad blocking and possibly a custom boot animation. Thanks for answers in advance.

You'll have to post a model number or Google your model number to find the chip. What country are you in because that will tell you what processor you have. If you're in the US and ordered from Samsung then it's a snapdragon and not root able.
It can be rooted
In Chinese online shopping platform, pay ¥150 for service, but i don't know how to do it
There's a similar thread already on this:

What Is My Model Number?

My brother got this S7 Edge on used market, so no box or anything. I don't live in the US but there's Verizon logo on the back of the phone. I don't know why but the phone is a bit laggy, so I wanted to flash a custom rom. Unfortunately I couldn't find any guide to flash TWRP for this phone as most guide are for Exynos models only.
Another thing is, according to about phone, my model number is SM-G935F, build number NRD90M.G935FXXU1BQB7 but CPUZ says my model is SM-G935T. Are this two model the same? Is it possible to root and flash TWRP on this phone without using CROM?

Boot to download mode there it will show you the real model number. The model number in about phone can be faked using build.prop and is therefore not always real
