Hi everyone!
so i've been using my S8 for probably 4Years. in samsung's original Voice recorder app there is an option called stereo recording which uses both microphones at the top and bottom of phone to record something likely ASMR. since i started to using a custom rom this feature is not working anymore for some reasons that i dont know. so is there any Mods/Apps that i can use to fix this issue ? my overall microphone quality is also decreased ... thanks for your help^^

Hi. I recently got a galaxy s4 phone. I want to use it to record commentaries and stuff for youtube but I was wondering if using certain voice recorder apps will make my voice sound better or if sound quality only depends on the mic and not the app?
yes there is some apps that is better than the stock recorder
but the stock is ok too, just try to record from a distance and dont breath on the mic
Hey guys, whenever I'm in a call with the Dialer app/Skype and switch to speakers, why does it use the mic at the top of the phone (the one for noise cancellation I believe) and not the one at the bottom?
I'm using the latest OMNI rom version.

Well maybe because the speaker is quite near to the lower mic and the person on the video call will get to hear his own voice too while you enable speaker mode.

Hi, when im trying to send some voice notes over Whatsapp it sounds terrible, I know that this is a common issue with the G2 so i'm trying to disable the 2nd mic to see what happen. I'm using Cloudy g3 2.0, but as far as I tried others it's not a Rom problem.
When I record using the built in record app everything is good, sounds clear, I tried using another apps that let me choose wich Mic to use (top mic or bottom mic) and it sounds good. I found in XDA some trick (here) editing the Build.prop but i think that thats only for Samsung.
It says that i have to edit from "media.a1026.enableA1026=1" to "media.a1026.enableA1026=0". but my lg g2 doesn't have that options.
Can someone help me out?

I am having problems with calling since i bought my n9005 4 years back, people did not hear me speak on the other side, but when i put the phone in speaker mode the sound was just fine on receiver side.
Using different roms from stock to CM13 and miui nothing software related seemed to be the problem (tried all the things that i could find on the net and in settings).
Anyway, so I always been calling on speaker or using my huawei watch.
Now after all this time i thought lets fix it, and bought a new USB / Mic unit which i installed without success.
Since on speaker calls still works great, normal calls only cracking sound, i thought maybe its possible to redirect thru software to secondary mic on top of phone which i believe gets activated when talk on speaker phone?

Hello everyone, i got an issue with my s7 edge. During a call, the microphone work when i'm using the earpiece speaker, but he don't work when i activate the speaker. The mic work in the audio recorder tho
Have the same problem on galaxy s6 nougat. Probably a nougat thing since it works on MM

I have an S7 (non Edge) that when I turn on the speaker mode, the other party cannot hear me. I broke the display and sent it to a non official store for replacement. After the display replacement it was like this, and the store didn't fix after keeping the phone for a month this second time.
