Cannot locate Combination File for SM-205G/DS - Samsung Galaxy A20 Questions & Answers

I have searched everywhere but have not been able to locate the combo file for firmware: A205GUBS3ASI4.
I bought this phone at Amazon and is FRP locked. Amazon pretty much stated to return and get mo ey back. This is a gift and got it at a great price. I would like to get it working.

Update: I have used the Highjack software to "create" a combination file off the PDA it currently has but it reboots back normally, it doesn't go into combination mode to enable usb debug and such

which binary is your cellphone?? (mostly is the 4th number next to the model number in your build number, in my case is A2GUBU4ASK2, it means my cellphone is in binary 4, aka BIT4 )

Recover Bricked AT&T Tab SGH-I987 - Whew

UPDATE: As rangercaptain notes, there's a simple fix (which I failed to find the first round) for the white line black screen brick (or whatever you want to call it.) For anyone else, this may still hold value for how to convert your AT&T Tab to a P1000 Euro version with phone functionality or if you need to otherwise recover/restore a rooted AT&T Tab that's not booting.
I bricked my SGH-I987 (don't ask how). It was an already rooted and unlocked Galaxy Tab I bought crippled (of course) from AT&T sans contract. It was bricked. I couldn't get to the bootloader but I could hear the Samsung startup sound and then I got a blank screen with a faint line through it.
Anyhow, here's what I did to recover it.
Install USB drivers (if not already installed, else skip. The files I eventually found were called usb_drivers_GalaxyS_x64.zip but work perfectly on my Win 7 Ult x64 system.)
Turn off Tab
Hold the [Volume Down] + [Power On] buttons until the Digging Android screen appears
Connect your Tab
Run Odin (as an Administrator if you're on Vista/7). If the phone is connected, you'll see
COM with a value and color highlight (not blank and white). (I used Odin3 v1.7.exe)
In Odin, load the following files (which I downloaded from samfirmware.com - the download will be password protected with the password "samfirmware.com"):
PIT => P1000XWJJ4\P1_add_hidden.pit
PDA => P1000XWJJ4\P1000XWJJ4-REV03-ALL-CL639474.tar.md5
PHONE => P1000XWJJ4\MODEM_P1000XXJID.tar.md5
CSC => P1000XWJJ4\GT-P1000-CSC-SERJJ2.tar.md5
Make sure "Re-Partition" is checked
If all's set, click Start and Odin will do it's thing. The Tab will reboot a few times and I was done and "unbricked".
Of course, I can't use the AT&T sim for phone functions because the sim's voice calling is blocked by AT&T. But, I put in another GSM sim and the phone works. Will you find me holding my Tab to my face? Um, no. But it will be handy in a pinch.
I hope this helps. Don't contact me asking for files. I'm not sure of their distribution/licenses so Google and download them like a big boy (or girl).
I hope nobody follows all these steps! A few threads down in the general section is a thread about at&t black screen with thin white line during boot. All you do is flash one file with odin. The link for the file is there. Too bad people can't do a little research before posting.
Bricking means totally dead, with no chance to fix it. Obviously you weren't bricked.
And at&t does not stop the tab from making voice calls. The stock rom doesn't have a dialer so you have to flash a rom with a dialer.
You're right about the black screen white line, for some reason I didn't find it when I first researched it. That would have saved me some time.
As for being officially "bricked" or not, 6 or half dozen.... If I can't boot the device I just flashed and I can't fix it no matter what - it's bricked to me.
Anyhow, yes sir, voice/phone features on AT&T sim cards issued with Tabs purchased from AT&T is blocked. Only data and messaging are enabled.
The AT&T SIM issued by AT&T with my Tab failed on both the Overcom and MoDaCo ROMs with dialer apps; but my T-Mobile and a foreign card worked fine. (Data worked on all, I'm just referring to voice dialing.) I also took my AT&T/Tab SIM and put it in a few other unlocked locked devices and again, nada. Every time dialer functions fail with this AT&T/Tab SIM it does so with the AT&T operator message "this service is not enabled..."
So yes, SIMs issued with Tabs purchased from AT&T do have voice/phone functionality disabled (it's not just a dialer issue). "Too bad people can't do a little research before posting."
Those features aren't disabled, they are not offered by at&t or included or intended for the tab. When we enable them by flashing another rom, it is with a sim card and data plan that is not a tab plan. At&t thinks I am using a captivate.
When you held in the power and volume down did you see the digging android? That's download mode, what to be in to flash. If not there still is a way to flash, but you have to use adb.exe, from the android sdk. Have you used adb yet?
How did you get the borked tab? What did you pay? I'm glad you got that tab working!
Thanks dude... you saved me... but i didn't get my 3G back... didi you get it?

SAMSUNG ATT SGH-I987 TABLET

Soft Bricked (SM-G530W)

I was trying to upate the SUBinary and it told me to reboot. As soon as I did I get a message saying "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP" and a red text saying "Secure Fail : Kernal" help me.
It has something to do with your Google account being logged into the phone.. samsung can send signal to reset it but they won't if it's been rooted etc still trying to make sure reflash omg the phone with original rom would make it worse or not. Or maybe just reflash in the kernal. I'm on t mobile but can only find original rom on t mobile same network but we will see. I'm on my fiance a accident messaging from her phone lol or maybe just reflash the kernal the whole problem for me is I don't have a computer to try to reflash from what someone told me I may try to reflash with odin 3.90 with a tar file to the exact model number

This is the best and quick fix for FRP Lock

Worked for my SM-G530W
I had the same problem, and i used Kies3 (not compatible with my phone anyway), but if you go on toolbar to "TOOLS", "Firmware Upgrade and initialisation", it asks you for your device model (for mine i typed SM-G530W, and then it asks you for device serial number (S/N) found under the battery by the IMEI number. After this, follow on screen prompts (Restart your device in Download mode/ PDA, connect USB cable, etc), and let the software download and install (factory rom); After your device restarts, you are good to go (sometimes if it gets stuck on booting, remove battery for few second and start again.) Now you have to go back and set up everything you want, including re-rooting your device... Good luck. (My device is Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530W Factory unlocked rom, Android 5.11.

What are the Requirements to change Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 Firmware.

Hi guys.
I am new here.
Can you tell me what should I need to check to change my Android Firmware.
I have S4 i9500 GT Probably China.
model : jftlespr
Android 4.4.2
CSC = CHN
PDA = CHN
Recovery mode : TWRP
I want to updrage to Android 5 but in my phone there is no Software Update Option in my Phone.
Later I downloaded an app from Play Store name " Phone info : Samsung" . This app shows all the info about my phone.
There is an Option for firmware checking on this app and this app gave me options for "I9500ZCUJOH2_I9500CHNJOH2_CHN" . This firmware is downloaded in my PC but Still I need to check before bricking my phone.
Reply Fast PLZ
What is the model number in download mode?
I don`t understand you.
I have S4 I9500 GT
PDA & CSC of my Phone is CHN
Current Firmware is : I9500XXUFNB7
and "Phone info : Samsung" app from Play Store gave me suggestion to use this ROM : "I9500ZCUJOH2"
And the suggested Firmware in downloaded in my PC but I haven`t installed it yet.
Also I need to know that will I lose my IMEI after installing.
Download mode will tell you the exact model #. I don't trust software to do that.
If the phone is from China, you may be very limited in terms of ROMs that can be flashed to the phone.
How can I give you link of my uploaded image. I am new member I can't post links here.
Boot into download mode and get the model number from there. Your post had conflicting information as the gt-i9500 was never sold by sprint yet the model is jfltespr.
Power off the phone completely by removing its battery for 5 seconds.
Re-insert the battery back into its place.
Press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons, all at the same time.
Release the buttons only when the ‘Warning!!’ message appears.
Next, press Volume Up button to confirm that you wish to enter Download Mode.

Hi,
there is unfortunately only one way to fix this problem which I found accidentally by sitting many hours at the pc to find a way... Go to this site
htcmania. com/archive/index.php/t-1319796. html (without spaces)
and download the spanish 4 file repair archive and load with z3x pro the AP file and then pull down the selections and select only the system.img (this is very important because otherwise you`ll get errors until you`re dead) and after reboot make a factory reset. When it comes to the setup screen make connect to wifi and go back to start screen. Then push emergency call 112 and wait a few seconds and then you can activate the bluetooth function. Connect a bluetooth with the phone and end the call. When at the start screen push the call button of your bluetooth and you will see a pop up at the screen where you select the google app and when it starts just say - open calculator and the calc app opens. Put the code (+30012012732+ in the field and you will taken to drparser mode selection. There put the *#0808# and you see your selections of usb modes . Select the DM + ACM + ADB mode and reboot. Disconnect the phone from pc . After reboot connect your phone to the pc again and wait for the fingerprint message which you have to push ok. After that you can use adb frp tool and voila there you go... Just in case if you have any troubles with your modem or imei or no call sign - just flash a modem (cp without hidden) with z3x pro again and you will be fine
This drama had cost me 5 days of f.... research

Sprint Samsung Galaxy SM-G950U sucessfully unlocked

Hi you all for those trying to unlock and root the Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950U snapdragon locked for USA sprint company. Voila! it is possible even if you got the 6th version firmware (latest update to October 28, 2019)
After some days trying to root and lock unsuccessfully and looking info I gave a shot to movical wesite. Price is very cheap and they guide you into the process. Basically the steps are:
1- download and run unlock client software and select your model. (They send you all the links)
2- Select you phone model and Insert the license provided by movical website in the search bar.
3- Install samsung drivers into the pc and connect the phone via usb to pc
4- Open the device manager (window+x ) and see what type of connection is showing the phone. If it say "modem" it will no work. You must set up to "ADB" for that follow this step (two options):
First developer option must be activated
4.1 Dial *#0808# if this not work (in my case didn't) then
4.2 Dial ##3434# when prompted select CMDA, another screen will show up, then tap on DM+MODEM+ADB.
4.3 Check again device manager after plug the phone again into pc it should now say "ADB"
5- Run Unlock client set up the settings and it will return a message that is not possible unlock cause flash must be done first and the software provide the link to download the files needed for make the flash
6- Flashing:
Open Odin and set up the file recomended by unlock client software on the Odin ( i used v3.13 version) AP section. Let Odin software do the rest. Voila you phone has been flashed.
7- After flashed turn on the phone and plug it again into the pc
6- Set up and Run the Unlock client software again and voila this time the software is able to unlock the phone the message " Unlocked" should be displayed on the screen.
8- Recover to stock room
8.1 Download the files recomended by unlock client for recovery
8.2 Open Odin and set up all the files Ap, BL, CP, CSC (you got two option here if you select CSC home yo got the sprint logo back if you dont want it then select CSC file) and USER Data
8.3 Let odin do the rest and check if it pass
9 Voila phone unlocked
I used window 10 computer. As a reminder i did it for Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950U with the 6th version of firmware unlocked by Sprint
