I am very happy with bootleggers right now so I'll try to checkout youtube videos and read up on what changes there are in Miui 11 for Redmi Note 6 Pro.
It's funny that I had been waiting for MIUI 11 and now that it's here I don't really care to try it yet. But I'm eager to find out what people think about MIUI on the Note 6 Pro.
EDIT: Looks like I will be downloading and installing the update today or tomorrow.
I was loving bootleggers but then I got a facebook call and it asked for microphone permission and when i clicked "allow" my screen wouldn't turn back on... I even tried wiping caches in twrp but screen wouldn't come on when the phone boots system.
I had Xiaomi.eu MIUI10 on my sd card so I installed it. I'll have to Download MIUI 11 when I get home.

I got official update via ota

MIUI 9 is released by some real hard working developers and this thread is totally because of their hard work. I am here to just connect you directly with them.
Visit this page https://miuipro.by/rommgr/device/515 and sign up on it since they are releasing one version almost every week.
To downlod from that page you need to sign up and I will recommend you to do that. If there is any problem in downloading then comment down below.

my problem is weird one it was in all miui 8 rom and now on miui 9 also
The problem is when I use single sim with jio my jio4gvoice always say connecting or offline but when I use dual sim jio4gvoice shows online. I tried every possible solution i.e add apn, change to manual network, etc etc nothing works.
This bug is only present in all miui rom. All the flyme rom and nougat base rom works very well.
Please can anybody post any solution.

Open Beta Not Flashing ( Vendor Partition Problem )

I have Oneplus 5, I was initially running Open Beta 14, I installed Mokee ROM for Android P and later again flashed OP5 to OxygenOS 5.1.3 Android 8.1 using Qualcom MSM Tool.
But I am not able to Flash Open Beta(s) now,, I tried Open beta 13 and 15, none worked.
I clean wiped using stock recovery, didnot work.
Wiped using TWRP by BluSparx 3.2.3 - vendor still not mounted( as it doesnot exists) and - still Open Beta not flashed after wipe.
I also switched to Android 7.1.1 and tried installing Open Beta 13 and 15 - still didnot work.
Please help me switch to Open Beta ROM for Oxygen OS Oneplus 5
First flash open beta 12 then you can flash ob 14 or 15.

Have you read the post above yours? It's mandatory to update to a special ob first so vendor partition will be created.
It's not made clear in the installation notes for OB14, 15, 16 etc but yes as @bkma says, you need to flash OB 12 first if you are coming from non-OB.

The problem is that oneplus did not implement clean flashing of every beta/stable. The updates are always seamless ota updates, hence its not possible for normal users to skip updates and continue with ob16 when coming from OB11 for example.
That's a thing people don't understand here. The process provided by oneplus is fool proof, but when you did not follow the official way, it can be hard, as always.
Therefore its not mentioned in later open beta changelogs or installation instructions. It was mentioned when vendor partition came up.

I see where you are coming from, and you're right, if you were on the Open Beta program all along, this is fool proof.
I bought a new OnePlus 5 about a month ago, I think OB14 was the latest beta release about then. I had not been messing around with rooting, 3rd party roms, kernels, twrp, anything like that. I was just looking for OnePlus official way to get on to the latest beta. It took me a bit of searching through old forum posts (posts which were made before the time I was even thinking of getting a OP5) to find out how to do it.
The information on the OnePlus website currently is insufficient for new beta users to install it from stable. (unless if you go digging through the old release notes) It's not a complaint, just pointing out that it is a subtlety of going to the latest OB that people would have to be aware of if they are new to the OP5 (or if they have recently decided to move from stable to beta).

[MIUI 11][Chinese BETA]Redmi Note 4/4X

It appears MIUI 11 (Chinese Beta only) for the Redmi Note 4/4X is available for testing. You can download it via the page below:
https://www.xda-developers.com/download-miui-11-beta-now-for-13-xiaomi-devices-changelog/
I believe you can flash it via TWRP, make sure to do the lazyflash afterwards or it may bootloop.

For me, I have chosen to stay with MIUI 9 since last year because the MIUI 10 broke the Google Camera. I have never updated since then.
If anyone is currently testing this beta MIUI 11, would you be able to let us know here if Google Camera works for this now?

A way to quickly update 9T EEA to MIUI 12 instead of applying step by step MIUI 12?

Hello Guys
I just received MI 9T EEA variant. I want it to update to MIUI 12 but i can't apply MIUI 12 update directly because the system version is old MIUI V11.0.3.0.PFJEUXM and i am not able to apply my downloaded MIUI 12 because it needs an updated software version. Bootloader is locked and i have to wait 7 days to unlock. Is there a way to quick update it to MIUI 12 instead of step by step updates?
Get thru the 5GB of updates just like i did, updated it from MIUI 10 (didn't check the version) to MIUI 12.. but did it step by step

You can try the following:
- Download the latest QFJEUXM (supposing you are on *FJEUXM = eea) 12.0.2 Recovery/zip package to your phone from:
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/davinci/
- Go to Settings, Update and tap seven (or so) times over the big 11 (MIUI version number) in the center
- That would unhide few additional options in the menu (three dots top right), namely the option: Choose update package
- Take that option and navigate to the downloaded zip package for 12.0.2
If it doesn't want to update directly, it would probably tell you (once, by mistake I tried updating from eea to global and it stopped me telling that it's not the right package for my phone), then I used the eea package and it worked fine (but I was not jumping from MIUI 11.03 to 12.0.2)
This method does not require the unlocked Bootloader (root, flashing, anything special)

Actually i am AOSP based custom rom user but as i need to wait 7 days for bootloader unlock, i have to use MIUI and there are some new things in MIUI 12 and that's the only reason to update to MIUI 12. I can't say about battery life right now but the new UI is good.

Ok, I'll be on the lookout for a new post before you go to AOSP to see your final assessment so I can get a more concrete idea on whether it's better to stay on Miui 11 or go up to Miui 12 ... I've read a lot of bad things about the battery or lag throughout the interface. A greeting!

new update for Mi Max 3 update to Android 10 - Miui 12

Is MIUI 12 global for mi max 3 still closed beta only or did it go public? I'm using a custom rom and I want to revert to stock with MIUI 12 and sell the phone.
Need help
Hello i need information my mi max 3 is unroot with twrp install and now ota miui 12 is available can i install the ota update or do i have to remove twrp first and how can i remove twrp . Please help.
won't work, I tried that too, got stuck in the boot logo.
Only after flashing the nitrogen_global_images_V11.0.4.0.QEDMIXM_20200708.0000.00_10.0_global fastboot Rome using Mi Flash and then OTA UPDATE via smartphone everything was fine again.
But I will switch to Android 11 again, it just runs better and more stable for me

What is "here"? (you can find out everything "here" or read "here")
There is no link
Or did you mean you switched to MIUI11 for stability
from what I have researched since my previous post ...Android 11 is in the form of AOSP ported builds (lot of activity on Telegram) and gsi's.
