How can I rom Huawei y6 into a iPhonr

Well, is very simple, you take a chizle and a hammer and shape it in a Iphone.
But be careful it must be heated first to approximately 75 degrees Celsius (Preferably in the microwave) otherwise it will chip and you risk damaging it.
Good luck!

Hi All,
I've been digging around for any scraps of information I can find about installing a custom rom on a Huawei Y6 2019 (MRD-LX1). After hours of searching, I couldn't actually find anything. I can't make a new thread so I decided to reply to this one.
I can see some threads about doing it on a 2018 model. Would they be applicable to the 2019 model as well, or has Huawei done something special on the 2019 model to prevent old methods from working?
There are some threads about the Pro or Prime or whatever models of the phones. Would I be safe to assume the same methods can apply to a base (MRD-LX1) model?
If there is any information you can point me towards, I'd be grateful!

im having the same issue as well

Same issue here after 3 days of research for MRD-LX1 : no rooting possible, no bootloader unlocking (i found one code but that fails at the last stage of unlocking (oem unlock Err:0x7), no TWRP file at twrp.me...
How disappointing : I don't know what method I could use to recover some deleted pictures that are probably in the 8Go free memory... Arghhhhhh

Is the rooting process the same for italian p9 lite (L31 ITAC555 B361)

Hey guys,
I'm a noob when it comes to firmware stuff, only had some experience with rooting/flashing lg g2, which was pretty much straight forward. As of now, I have owned p9 lite for around half a year and I've grown tired of EMUI so I've decided to root my phone, install TWRP and flash something else. The only problem is that I'm not really sure if the processes of rooting/flashing presented in most tutorials are applicable to my phone, because the build number contains "ITA" and I haven't seen anything like that before. Does that change anything or can I just not bother and follow the standard procedures?
Regards,
Paul

I think you should not encounter any difficulty rooting your phone indifferently from the firmware you come from (however it matters if it's emui 4 or emui 5) it matters if you want to install roms, in this case it's recommended rebranding the phone in a popular and supported region (like C432).

Thanks for the answer. Now I'm running emui 5. So, if I want to install LOS 14.1, I just need to root, rebrand and then I can flash the rom?

Sorry for late answer, I don't know if you already fixed your problem but yeah you need to rebrand, flash C432B370 (dual SIM) or B371 (single SIM) and then follow the procedure to flash Los 14.1
Rooting isn't necessary because all of those things don't require user root.

Where can I find Huawei P10+ VKY-L09C02 OEMInfo?

Hi, I hate that my first post is a request, but I'm looking for the OEMInfo file for Huawei P10+ model VKY-L09C02 and the closest result I got from google is this post on XDA:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/help/vtr-l09c02-oeminfo-t3618083
Unfortunately the file is for the P10 (VTR) model and not the P10+ (VKY).
Please help
If you can't find it, i would recommend to rebrand to a more common model.

Thanks for replying, but I was hesitant about rebranding again since that is what caused my problems (sim not read by phone). But after some more digging yesterday I found a rebranding guide on FunkyHuawei where they mention that the VKY-L09C432 roms aren't working on compatible phones and that the solution was to rebrand to VKY-L29C636.
After trying this my phone could recognise my sim again.
Here is the link if anyone else needs it: https://funkyhuawei<dot>club/rebranding
Sorry for the format, but I'm new and forbidden from posting links

Rooting P8 lite 2017 with 7.0 Nougat

Hey there,
I'm sorry if this is a repeat question but I can't seem to track down a thread where it's described in detail how to root a P8 Lite 2017 running Nougat. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
I'm just looking to root it Not anything else.
Kind regards
Chris

You can't root the device at the moment using the proper method because Huawei doesn't offer unlock codes anymore. I've read that this may be temporary.
The very first step in rooting our phone properly is by "unlocking the bootloader" and we can't do that without the unlock code.
The thread with the tutorials for rooting our device has been deleted because the owner bricked the device and ended the support.
That thread doesn't matter to me though since the instructions were not very clear, links were removed and I followed another tutorial for rooting the device for I get nowhere when following an incomplete thread.
Instead, I followed this, this or this one, searched for the appropriate files in P8 Lite (2017) threads and watched some YouTube tutorials.
These tutorials will only work if you have the unlock code.
There may be some unrecommended methods like one-click root apps or maybe using a trusted website for buying unlock codes, but I wouldn't recommend any of those and you can try them at your own risk.
Some might work or others might be just trying to steal your IMEI and other sensitive informations.
I don't even know if they are compatible or supports the device.

Need help on downgrading

Hi xda members. I recently bought Mediapad M3 device BTV-DL09C209B312. ((I wanted to unlock my bootloader on ministryofsolution website for $4. the problem is, it can only be unlocked if the device were on july 2018 security patch or below. My current security patch is on november. My question is, is there any reliable tutorial to downgrade this device and unlocked it? I am afraid of bricking the device and i am not really familiar with huawei)) Please tell me step by step and what to do and what not before/after unlocking the device. Such as, do we need to save efs backup, imei, keys, oem info, any other important partition or something like that as long as it is important for huawei user. Thank you. I really need someone to guide me. Your help is really appreciated.
Edit: Skip the part for downgrading with bracket(()). Actually the unlock is supported and i misread the part where "EMUI 8 with july 2018 security patch above are not supported"

Huawei P8 Lite custom rom upgrade for beginners?

Hi all,
I just received a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 with the bootloader unlock code.
I really thought it would take me 10 minutes to "flash" my phone with another rom (when I wanted Cyanogen on my SGS3, it took even less)... and here I am, 3 weeks later, with nothing done and no progress in understandng how to change a rom on this phone.
I spent hours going in circle on a few sites which are supposed to explain the procedure, but there's always something missing or a command that won't work or I get to choose between hundreds of rom without help.
This is kind of my last hope before giving up...
My phone:
Model number: PRA-LX1
Build number: PRA-LX1C432B212
EMUI version: 5.0.3
Android version: 7.0
My question:
"How can I install https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8...ment/rom-aosp-10-huawei-p8-lite-2017-t4008999 as a beginner on my phone?".
Is there a comprehensive guide somewhere that would help me do that?
For the moment, I don't understand much of the installation section of the post (really not for beginners), and I'm stuck at the "required" section:
"ROM Firmware Required: Emui 8.x,bootloader unlocked and TWRP"
Since it took me 4 hours, this morning, to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP using ADB, can someone explain to me the step "Emui 8.x"? I really don't understand how to choose a working rom.
Thanks a lot for any help you can provide and sorry if this message is a bit messy, I really am confused...
Edit: Nevermind, it seems like I needed to write this down to find my answers piece by piece on many different posts on different forums
Sorry for the disturbance.
Emui 8.x - please update your stock huawei rom to oreo. Then you will have Emui 8.
