JVC Android TV (Android 7.0)

Hi,
I bought a JVC Android TV (Android 7.0) but missing Google Play Store; instead there is a JVC Market (Aptroid based). I tried installing Google Play Store along with the Google Services however Google Services is installing successfully, but not showing anywhere for configuration.
Any advise how to successfully install Google Services and make it work...? Do I miss any other component...?
Furthermore, I can open Google Play Store through the browser and successfully sing-in into Google Play Store but my device (Android TV) is not listed in my devices. Can I add a device manually in Google Play Store...?
I have a 4K 65" 3D JVC TV With android 4 and also looking at ways to get Android TV 7 on it.. any help would be appreciated

YouTube in 1440p on a Huawei Mate 9 Pro

I have a Chinese version of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro (LON-AL00).
I have successfully rebranded it to a European model (LON-L29C432).
Before rebranding my phone it would play YouTube videos in 1440p. Since rebranding I am unable to get YouTube to show 1440p in the list of possible resolutions.
I'm not sure if it's related to the Google Play Services version or if it's something else.
The L29C432 firmware seems to use the 040408 Play Services version (arm64+arm Android 6.0+ 480dpi) but my AL00 firmware used 090400 (arm64+arm Android 8.0+ nodpi).
I've tried installing the 090400 Play Services version but that hasn't made any difference.
Yes, I do have my screen set to use WQHD 1440p so that isn't the issue.
Can anyone tell me what version of Play Services they are running?
Is anyone else able to watch 1440p on YouTube with a LON-L29 handset?
I also can not play 2k. I have the latest software installed. But I installed the external program "NewPipe" and I can watch movies in high definition.

It was working when my phone was still on the LON-AL00 firmware but no matter what I try I can't get it working now.
Really annoying as I know the phone has a 1440p screen and YouTube plays 1440p on this Hardware.
Search for Google Vance apk on Google and click the first xda link, go to codex in settings and change video codec to s8
Thanks! The only codec option was VP9 (non rooted version) but that did the trick.

Excellent workaround if Google play store won't run: Aurora

Install "Aurora Store" via f-droid.
It is a wrapper for Google play store, and it works! You never have to run play store again.

PIP feature on H870DSU

does anyone has any idea how to activate PIP feature for youtube without having a youtube red subscription?
the PIP option is set to on in the settings is there a real possibility of doing that other than the youtube red subscription thing???
Mate, If you are having rooted variant, its possible to activate PIP using magsik module. If you are not, then install YouTube vanced along with microg (for signing into you Google account), both is available on apkmirror. com
