Trump said he would allow American companies to sell to Chinese company Huawei, which the U.S. Commerce Department blacklisted last month. "We'll continue to sell," President Trump said. And we heard that the new flagship HONOR 20 Pro is now Google Play certified.
The latest development in the Huawei trade ban saga comes directly from the ongoing G20 summit wherein US President Donald Trump announced that “U.S. companies can sell their equipment to Huawei”. This is a major reprieve to Huawei, which was suffering from the political tensions between USA and China.
“U.S. companies can sell their equipment to Huawei. We’re talking about equipment where there’s no great national security problem with it. I said that’s O.K., that we will keep selling that product, these are American companies that make these products. That’s very complex, by the way. I’ve agreed to allow them to continue to sell that product so that American companies will continue.”
Mr. Donald Trump, President, USA

With the Honor 20 Pro being released, I wonder if many people will buy it. The future of the phone (Android updates ect.) seems uncertain.

Samsung will sue Apple immediately if they release an LTE enabled iPhone 5.

Wow, look at that:--
Samsung confirmed it will sue Apple immediately if it releases an LTE device. This seems directed squarely at the new iPhone as currently the iPad does sell with LTE on board. Obviously, this legal case is just a start of a huge change, not the end of anything.
Considering Apple iPhone 5 is almost certain to come with LTE on board, let's see what happens.

Interesting, but it all depends where the patents are valid. In California they ruled in Apple's favour and fined them a billion dollars; in Korea they were seeking damages of only sixpence and a can of baked beans...

The Lenovo NBD new glass C100 is one of the most hyped wearable smart gears in China. As Google Glass failed to make its way into the Chinese market due to the PRC’s ban on all of Google’s internet services, many local manufacturers have been trying to create the Chinese version of this cutting-edge device, but it was Lenovo’s NBD (New Business Development) Platform that made it possible. Channeling the resources of the world’s largest computer manufacture, NBD successfully released two models of smart glasses tailored-made for Chinese users.
While the Lenovo NBD VUZIX M100, with a price tag of $1300, is mainly designed for business users, the new glass is more marketed as a consumer product. Although Lenovo hasn’t revealed the price of this device yet, there is reason to estimate an initial price tag of under $800.
Lenovo NBD has sent out the test hardware to only a limited number of testers, and the one unit for me just arrived. I have been writing reviews about this device and, anyone interested could read my reviews here on XDA forum.

The billionaire chairman of China’s LeEco
has admitted his technology empire is running out of cash
to sustain a headlong rush into businesses from electric cars to smartphones.
“Our fundraising ability isn’t strong,” Jia wrote. “The scale of our external fundraising had trouble satisfying the demands of our rapid expansion.”

Is
LeEco
really in trouble?
North American operations lead Brian Hui told the audience at TechCrunch Beijing today
that things aren’t as dire as the letter made them seem. “If you read the letter, it’s not about whether it’s sustainable or not sustainable,”
Hui said of LeEco’s growth. “It’s not about running out of money. It’s how you can spend your money wisely…
Hui also addressed rumors that suppliers for LeEco’s smartphone business had not been paid,
saying that LeEco was not carrying debt to its suppliers. “We will always want to sustain our trust,” he said.
“We still maintain a very good relationship with them.” During the U.S. launch of its smartphone two weeks ago,
LeEco says all of the phones sold in a little over four hours but declined to say exactly how many units were sold.

Five lucky participants are gonna receive the OPPO Product Ambassadors Swag Bag (which will be released in mid-June).
This thread is only for the conversations about sharing your home screen or lock screen. Please adhere to the XDA rules when you participate.
The biggest prize you guys could give us is the possibility to unlock the bootloader. I know you guys are only ambassadors, but why promote an unlockable phone in an "all things custom" forum? As far as I know ambassadors should represent the brand in other places but also bring the consumers needs/wishes back to the brand. Please, this could a big thing to be able to continue upgrading our phones even after the 3-years support period is gone. That would also be a huge sales advertisement!
