Samsung will sue Apple immediately if they release an LTE enabled iPhone 5. - Galaxy S II General

Wow, look at that:--
Samsung confirmed it will sue Apple immediately if it releases an LTE device. This seems directed squarely at the new iPhone as currently the iPad does sell with LTE on board. Obviously, this legal case is just a start of a huge change, not the end of anything.
Considering Apple iPhone 5 is almost certain to come with LTE on board, let's see what happens.

Interesting, but it all depends where the patents are valid. In California they ruled in Apple's favour and fined them a billion dollars; in Korea they were seeking damages of only sixpence and a can of baked beans...

Dutch IDG publication Webwereld.nl reveal more info on apple’s case against Samsung in Europe. Last week they published a page from case filing in German court which shows Apple lied to the court in European Galaxy Tab Injunction, provides false evidence. Apple submitted an altered image of Galaxy Tab 10.1 as evidence to a German court where the Tab has been cropped and the image ratio has been tampered. After the reports become public,
The same way, an image submitted by Apple to a court in the Netherlands intentionally misrepresents Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. The actual Galaxy S (right on the image above) is both wider and taller than Apple’s iPhone 3GS, but the image apple submitted shows a device that is exactly the same height as the iPhone that appears next to it.
Rather than invest time to improvise their product, if Apple concentrate to kick out other companies from market with such strategy will do more harm for themselves.

New thinner note rumour

I have just heard from a reliable source that there might be a thinner Note released/announced within the next 10 days. This rumour was directly from HQ in Korea. We will have to wait and see. That's the only change that I know about "thinner"......
ics
hi can u ask this "source" of yours when sammy's gonna give us "old" note users ICS ?
Seriously? The only reason I can see for making a thinner phone is to fold it, or maybe jimmy open doors?
Quite possibly the reference is to a Galaxy Note 10.1?.. an upgraded tab with the S pen...and its thinner than its predecessor..

Utter bollocks.
Hell, I'm looking forward to mine being thicker. Once I've scraped the cash I'm putting some money Mugen's way for the mighty battery goodness.

For a seventh consecutive month, the Samsung Galaxy S III is the most popular smartphone in the United Kingdom. The data compiled by uSwitch is based on live searches, pre-orders, as well as postpaid sales.
Curiously, Apple's current smartphone flagship is not even second. The iPhone 5 is outperformed by its predecessor, whose lower price and improved contract offers helped it remain appealing. The Samsung Galaxy S II completes the quartet at the top.
The rest of the top ten smartphones is entirely an Android party. It includes the Google Nexus 4, who entered the rankings a solid fifth. The second half of the top ten includes the Samsung Galaxy Ace, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Sony Xperia U, HTC One X, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2.
With the Christmas shopping season picking up steam, it will be curious to see whether or not the Galaxy S III will retain its bestselling crown. Apple's iPhone 5 is said to be quickly gaining ground due to price drops, so it will be an interesting race to watch in a lucrative market.

It's been quite apparent this year that Apple's pricing on contract is too high..
My friends (cough) who have the 4 didn't upgrade because they saw no benefit in the iphone5.. Not everyone is the same I guess.

Galaxy S4 soon to be released, now is the time to complain about missing sources!

Hello
With the S4 soon to be released (in april) theres a lot of talk about the phone on Facebook and on Twitter. It is therefore a good time to start writing on Samsungs' Facebook- and Twitter pages about the promised sources that we never recived and how you feel about that.
Hopefully we will get a response from Samsung (it has worked before) and if not we might have saved some people the trouble we have had with the lack of Exynos 4 sources.
This might be our best chanse to get the Exynos 4 sources sense Samsung probably don't wan't alot of bad pr on social networks right before the S4 going to be released.
I wounder if the S2 and S3 will stop getting official CM support sense the lack of sources is why the S4 won't get it.

Nope, given up on whining about it. The effective (and much more satisfying) tactic is never buy another Exynos device again ever.

And how is that going to give us the sources for Exynos 4?
They couldn't even release any thing. But if they loose a single sell I would be happy for it!

LeEco's CEO Jia Yueting Says Company Overstretched, Now Running Out of Cash

The billionaire chairman of China’s LeEco
has admitted his technology empire is running out of cash
to sustain a headlong rush into businesses from electric cars to smartphones.
“Our fundraising ability isn’t strong,” Jia wrote. “The scale of our external fundraising had trouble satisfying the demands of our rapid expansion.”

Is
LeEco
really in trouble?
North American operations lead Brian Hui told the audience at TechCrunch Beijing today
that things aren’t as dire as the letter made them seem. “If you read the letter, it’s not about whether it’s sustainable or not sustainable,”
Hui said of LeEco’s growth. “It’s not about running out of money. It’s how you can spend your money wisely…
Hui also addressed rumors that suppliers for LeEco’s smartphone business had not been paid,
saying that LeEco was not carrying debt to its suppliers. “We will always want to sustain our trust,” he said.
“We still maintain a very good relationship with them.” During the U.S. launch of its smartphone two weeks ago,
LeEco says all of the phones sold in a little over four hours but declined to say exactly how many units were sold.
