DOOGEE Y8 Soft Bricked dm-verity error - DOOGEE MIX Guides, News, & Discussion

For whatever reasons I have left my Doogee Y8 on the home screen in a loop, the most I have achieved with SPFlash is to leave a black background notice on the screen of the Logo
DM-VERITY ERROR (to see photos)
I have tried to unlock the bootloader by means of fastboot and I have used all the unlock commands that I have read in different forums but as apparently the flag of the dm-verity is triggered it does not let me unlock it, with the erase commands and flash it gives me always the same failure, "is not allowed because the bootloader is blocked".
Neither do I get into active adb and therefore all the commands in adb do not take them into consideration, it does not detect the device.
Someone can give me a hand, those who find this failure of the DOOGEE Y8 others and especially I would be very grateful.:fiesta3:
PS, I forgot, before the disaster I made a backup with TWRP but since it does not start in TWRP I can not recover it. I have used the fastboot flash boot boot.img (from the backup copy) and in all the attempts the result is still "not allowed because the bootloader is blocked"

dm-verity error
I also suffer from the same phenomenon. :crying:

dm-verity error too
Hey Guide...! I have this problem too. How to fix it?
Hope someone helps!

Hello guys, i have same problem, kindly help.

Mesmo problema!!!
A Doogee deixa muito a desejar pois não disponibiliza ferramentas, com esse problema agora só outra placa.

please enter link, for how to solve it, hopefully it can help

Motorola XT1563 seems dead

Hey guys.... I have a Motorola xt1563 dual sim. A week ago I was trying to flash my phone with this rom:
XT1563_LUX_RETCA_5.1.1_LPD23.118-10_cid14_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml
But unfortunelly doesn't boot. The display only show me a text:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (Secure)
failed to validate system image
ERROR: Failed to pass validation, backup to fastboot
Fastboot Reason: Fall-through from charger boot mode
My phone is not unlocked and no root.
I really don't know what to do, anybody can help me? Any idea?
Thanx a lot....

Aldo.
I do it, I try to unlock this device but nothing happends.
(bootloader) Check 'Allow OEM Unlock' in Developer Options.

Do you have any other idea? Thanks, man.
I assume you have a mexican or brazilian XT1563 the firmware you used is not made for it. I looked around and found a file factory page
http://www.filefactory.com/folder/dd05c058d3ff8dbe/?sort=created&order=DESC&show=100&page=1
My BLIND guess is
XT1563_LUX_RETLA-IUSMX_5.1.1_LPD23.118-6.2_cid12_subsidy-IUSMXLA_CFC.xml.zip
this based on the IUSMX (which I assume means U.S and MEX)
Again it is a blind guess so double check, then triple check and proceed with caution.
not sure if I can actually link out to another page if not mod let me know and I'd be happy to take it down. Otherwise I have previously stumbled upon some forums in Spanish and Portuguese which point to the right firmware. I'd suggest look into those as well.
As usual google is your friend.
Hope it helps.
hey Joeanca....
I read your comment and that's true I have a Mexican XT1563, I will download all the firmwares and I try it, thats interesting.
About your blind questions.
IUSMXLA means
IUSACELL (name of the cellphone Company)
MX means Mexico
LA means Latinamerica
I will do it with caution, but let me explain you. I even downloaded the original firmware from motorola's webpage and also follow the instructions but nothing happends, the phone still show me the bootloader options with this message.
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (secure)
failed to validate system image
ERROR: Failed to pass validation, backup to fastboot
Fastboot Reason: Fall-through from normal boot mode
I'm not sure what's happening. And you say it, google it's a great tool, but I have a week searching for a solution but I can't find it.
Thanks for the advice Joeanca. Have a nice day. And if you know any other idea please let me know.
Go to About Phone in Settings.
Then click build number 6-9 times until it shows 'you are now a developer'.
Then go to Settings > Developer Options and select OEM unlock.
Then unlock you bootloader.
Flash a custom recovery (TWRP).
After that root your device.
And finally flash a custom rom.
Hey Sid.X
When I turn on the phone only shows the display in recovery mode, unfortunelly I can't do it all con can say. And the phone can't load Android, so that´s the problem. I can't find the solution because my phone is not working. I try to install the original rom from motorola's web page and nothing happends.
The phone also is oem locked and never root, and I buy it 2 months ago.
Do you have any other idea? Thanks for the advice, I hope somebody can help me.
All comments will be wellcome.
Thanks anyway, have a good day.
Hi, cybergonvergalarga.

how were you flashing RSD LITE or manually??? dis you flash bootloader. bin and gpt.bin ??
if you have the bootloader blocked even have guarantee of purchase go claim it...
about warranty thing...they are saying motherboard is locked...they have to change it...which cost too much...also try using RSDLite...I am having same problem but RSD Lite could not recognise my device...Try fix it through varizon wireless repair assistant...If that doesn't work too let me know which version of firmware you were using before you did this to your phone.

Fastboot commands are disabled on lk user builds (LittleKernel (Bootloader most of qcom devices use)) That means while you can see device in fastboot mode you cant interact with it since it has no commands implemented there is no way around it but why dont you just use lg flash tool? from my experience you should still have access to it also more info about lk here check out page 14 for info about fastboot and how it is disabled, No this doesnt mean we can recompile lk before someone asks since we dont have sign keys

I have the same issue with lg spirit 4g (h440n) on hutchison three uk. boot certification verify in download mode, and then off in 3-4 seconds. fastboot mode stays on without going off, with the same error as the original poster. But no fastboot commands do anything. Annoying because nothing dodgy has been done with this phone, and it is always treated with the utmost care. Need to fix because settings produces "unfortunately settings has stopped", after a factory reset, even in safe mode.

simplemente no puedo hacer nada
pero puedo entrar en modo fastboot. pero cuando entro me sale lo siguiente:
fastboot_init()
Estado de error al cargar el almacén de claves 5 [600] USB init ept [MENCIÓN = 1163592] 0x8 [/ MENCIÓN] f2270
udc_start()
-- Reiniciar --
-- cambio de puerto --

hello
I have the same problem but with the bootloader unlocked and when I try it, it comes out failed remote failure
i have done a month research and found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRa97F14RKE&app=desktop
it's not in english thou u could make use of the links in the description not the video. even i had the same preflash validation failed error with an bootloader version 81.12 with bootloader status 0 on my xt1602. just flash it like u flash a stock rom. the reason for our error is we still didn't have the proper stock nougat 7.1 rom for our device. roms available in the internet are not working but this one works. be sure not to downgrade your'e phone and take an ota coz. the bootloader can't be downgraded and when it installs an older ota boom phone is bricked. make sure u flash some blank flash files of harpia before doing this. first u need to soft brick ur device from hard brick that have occured
my issue with xt1602 appears to be incorrect (I can't really properly comment on this) blankflash - I get stuck with 0x69 CID and phone suggests using verizon tools (while the phone is just RETIN originally). At this rate I can't re-hardbrick the phone into Qualcomm loader (qloader for "qboot" tool to work) so I can't even flash stock rom provided in Your, @keerthi perumal, link. So I am currently at a real loss here with non functioning device. My only hope is that someone actually helps to re-hardbrick device - No combination of fastboot commands (and different versions of adb&fastboot) to boot into "edl" (fastboot reboot edl) worked for the thus far.

I will let you know Im in the same situation as you. I unlocked the bootloader to root my device. But after trying what was available couldn't root my device. Not even patching the boot.img with magisk as the tutorial says. It didn't worked for me and it soft bricked my device so I decided to go back and locked the bootloader but this is the first time that I have an issue locking back a Motorola bootloader I don't know what moto did this time but things don't work as before. Im downloading the firmware through this tools and see if its any different to the firmware available at lolinet repository. If it work with the boot.img from this zip its downloading then it meas that the latest firmware available at lolinet is not the final or not signed or anything. lets see I let you know.

Out of curiosity, since I am not familiar with the Lenovo/MOTO software tool, why can't you just hit recover? If the goal is to go back to full factory, from the box condition? Does it do something bad if you have an unlocked bootloader?

Try...
I can try and help...
Are you running stock firmware?
You can get official firmware from Lenovo assistant.
Once it is installed, the only thing left is locking.
Do a factory reset after your phone is flashed and do your dev options stuff.
What is your region... What state is your phone in?
Give as much info and steps as possible.

yes, I installed the firmware from lenovo's program, turned off the phone, plugged in the pc and opened adb, typed '' fastboot oem lock '' 3x and nothing happened, says I need a similar developer permission;(
Ok. You still need to turn on developer options and usb debugging. After going back to stock, do the dev options stuff and then plug into your computer and make sure to get the screen where you can always trust the pc... Then adb reboot bootloader from there.
Give that a go!

Nokia 6 lost Recovery mode

Nokia 6 unlocked bootloader, then I installed Lineage-15.1 of pirrat25. But then my device locked itself to bootloader, and lost recovery mode. When I try to open the locked bootloader, the message "failed partition is not allowed flashing". And I also tried flashing the stock rom using OST LA but it didn't work, the .log file also says "failed partition flashing is not allowed". Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
