UPDATE: ¡U can use over the exisenz patch too!
°°°°°°°°°°Warning: In any versión you do this, Xposed stops the safety net.security.
This can be fixed whit the xposed module "No device check", but even, u couldn´t play some apps, for example critical ops.
TESTED IN F8331, it must work in dual sim too... comment.
After several bricks. I have been using the XZ for a long time, and now I have discovered modifications and apps, that I already have a great device. This is a guide to perfect the stock of xperia, also tips to polish battery life and performance. Using much, much threads, I finally get the perfect Oreo optimization. I remember u, I used social apps, games and a rude use from the xperia, and it works.
I will say you the xposed modules that work and I used without problems,
as well as the configurations that I used.
Features:
More life of battery.
More Ram.
Personalization.
No bloatware.
Enjoy the resources.
GravityBox Working.
Xposed Working.
No Bugs. (I haven't found) U can comment.
Better brightness control.
Customizable rom.

---Magisk 19.1 (flashable)
---Grenify
*GamerKit
---Ram Manager Pro (com.smartprojects.RAMOptimization) (No avalaible in GPlay, download byother side)
Well, it's time to install.
1.- You can install on ur stock without lose data, but I recommend to wipe absolute, factory reset.
2.- Download and flash the Aroma Stock Patch v6. In TWRP. (optional, recommended)(if u dont want, skip to third step)
-Wipe, factory reset.
-DON'T RESET AFTER INSTALLING AROMA.
-In aroma, flash as you want. I recommend unbloat level 2. The boot doesn't matter, u can flash as u want, personalize as u want.
-DON'T RESET AFTER INSTALLING. Stay in TWRP.
-Flash the KERNEL_F8331_41.3.A.2.192_CLEAN.img as boot image in TWRP (u can use adb too)
-Next, flash the Magisk 19.1 (latest version for now, when I make this post)
-Flash the drm-fix for 41.3.A.2.192
-To make sure everything goes well, we start the device and in case of wipe, we complete the welcome setting.
-Complete the settings.
3.- Installing Xposed
-Turn off Xperia XZ.
-Enter to recovery.
-Flash Xposed v90 sdk26 arm64 beta 3
-Flash the Xposed Fix: "XZ_41.3.A.2.192.zip"
-Using stock, if you install without having swept before, is very important to wipe cache and dalvik cache.
-If u wiped in first step, or installed aroma, u dont need to wipe, reboot, turn on.
-Turn On.
-If u wipped cache and dalvik cache, phone will take up to 15 minutes for booting. (deppendin of the apps u have installed)
-If u wipped in first step or aroma installing, phone must take up to 8 minutes.
-Turn on.
-Install Xposed Installer and Open, it says: "Xposed is not enabled, check log for more details". Reboot again and it will work
-Again, phone will take 8-15 minutes for turning on.
In this point, u must have root, xposed working, if not, u did something bad.
4.- ¡Time to fun! Install Gravity Box and Grenify, u can use I font for change fonts, it works. Reboot Again.
-Grenify (if u use donation package it will be better) (working all):
Investigate how to use grenify, I won't do for now. Don't hibernate services, and phone sim apps (caller, messages, contacts, etc, it help to make faster and more battery).
-GravityBox Working (I tested):
-All Status Bar Settings Working.
-All navbar settings working.
-Energy Settings Working.
-Multimedia settings working.
-Screen Recording settings working.
-Variuos Settings Working.
-The rest u can try and comment, I didn't use yet.
-In Greenify u must hibernate facebook (not messenger and whatsapp)
-If u are using stock pure, install titanium backup and:
-Type: Facebook in search, uninstall all app that will appear, except facebook.
-Uninstall, Care, Xperia Help, Amazon, Play Station App, Accesibility. Don't uninstall other apps, on ur risk.
-Ifont working.
5.- Ram and battery plus uses...
Install Ram Manager, busybox, and set the best profile for u. If u are gaming, u can set the profile.
6.- For brightness check the settings.
7.- Tested by me I was making every step while I write. It taked me 2 hours
8.- Enjoy.
If u discover other modules, please comment.
More settings on pictures
If u want to get more power so, u can look for the flashables in xda...

Unafortunelly no...
Use Ifont... You need root.
In this stock is posible using xposed and Ifont. They may work without xposed.
U can install in your existenze rom, using Ifont 5.8. 3
Go by your own risk

this worth testing, I will play with my F5122 this weekend and try to xposed it!
thank you so much for great workaround!

[NOOB Guide] Installing custom roms

Hi guys, I'm one of the testers of Supreme bean v5 rom before it was approved to go online, and I observed the forum and a lot of people have a lot of questions about installing the rom and the Note 3 package.
So, I'm sharing with you what needs to be done in order to install the right way, get the max performance, batt life, how to avoid FCs and some known errors, ways to correct them and what to expect from the device + some mods you would like to have
This Guide can also be followed for Hurricane rom, Phoenix, Jellykat, Dr. Ketan's and all possible roms out there with of course, logical reasoning required
And make sure you read the entire post as it will save you a lotttt of google searches and time searching for answers.
Please also note that following these methods will void your warranty, so dont tell me later I never told you so
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1
Case 1> You are coming from Android v4.1, not rooted, not modified
a) Then you would have to update the bootloader to mj5 which is available in this forum as well as install wifi patch.
b) Then you would also have to install a custom recovery such as Philz or twrp And this will be done through ODIN.
Case 2> your warranty is already void and have a custom recovery in place
Before install, super wipe. And I dont mean just clearing cache, preload and system folders. Use of Philz recovery recommended, update to the latest if possible. Use the "clean to install new rom" option under wipe data/factory reset. I havent seen an other recovery that does a better job than philz. I've made thousands of flashes, and not once my EFS was affected.
After using the option clean to install a new rom, head over to the mounts and storage area and use the option "format /sdcard", before using this option though, make sure you backup the folders pictures, DCIM and whatsapp if you plan on restoring the conversations that you've had. This is equally important if you play a lot of games. Games have a tendency to leave behind huge clusters of junk.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 2
Install the rom, and dont flash any mod or pack just yet, reboot. Allow the rom to complete all the necessary after install procedures. Complete setup and just make sure play store updates itself and camera is working all right.
To install mods or Note 3 pack or a custom kernel, reboot now to recovery
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 3
Installing Note 3 pack:
On roms such as Phoenix, Jellykat, Xperiazised rom, note 3 pack comes as preinstalled. So, the further steps can be skipped until step 4.
in case of Supremebean, as @geekynoob is working on his Note 3 pack, he suggests to use either Tamirda's or Hurricane's Note 3 pack.
Installing note 3 pack increases ram consumption and battery consumption, and puts in some bloat which might give errors so proceed only if there is an absolute need for note 3 pack, otherwise can be skipped.
Considering the fact that we install Note 3 pack, it is done in 2 ways,
1> right after flashing rom, flashing note 3 pack without reboot
2> complete rom setup and then flash note 3 pack with reboot
Although I recommend the second method, the first one is also quite possible if you just want to save some time. However, during setup, when asked to sign in to samsung account, skip that. As cloud services are natively missing in the rom, You will receive a "network error" toast notification during sign in. So, skip that. Rest is as normal. Follow the on screen instructions.
Now the rom has to be pretty much setup to your requirements
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 4- Mods
1> To change DPI
There are 3 ways of doing this
a) build.prop edit
b) installing a 240 dpi mod pack
c) using Texdroider dpi
Although all the 3 methods do the same job, i would not recommend the second method as it installs system files which can be much older than the rom base and can lead to some FCs or errors. Now if you find the first method too tedious, use the app called Texdroider dpi from play store to do that job. Its as easy as install, change values and reboot. Its the easiest way to change dpi on any rom,
2> Customization
To everyone who hates the stock look, or if looking for something different, use xposed module. I prefer wanam by choice as almost every option in it works. There are options available such as gravitybox, xblast and others which do the similar job. Here, you will be the best judge on what you want, and how you like the rom to be and function.
3> Custom kernels
There are options of Kernels available, but I personally prefer Agni. Tried almost all kernels possible out there on all the roms, and I mean literally. And Agni give me the best out the best possible batt performance and enhanced smoothness.
Use these settings in Agni as recommended by geekynoob
"Profile- normal
CPU governor- yanks zzmove
Max CPU freq- 1600mhz
CPU undervolting to -30mv
Gpu -50mv
Min 200mhz
Touch 2 wake off
Lmk medium
Power saving balancer set to max"
4> Disable motion, NFC, Air Gestures and all possible things that you dont use as it consumes CPU usage and battery as well.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats is guys. These are all the suggestions that I can think of at the moment. If you need anything else, let me know, by replying to this post.
Have fun customizing the rom.
And as always, thank me if this post helped you. :silly:

Just flashed the OTA with no issues. Let's see how it performs compared to 44S, specially the radio.
TWRP tells me that gps.conf was changed and update failed. Always something.
What folder in the internal memory should I use?
Please advice
I am on 44S... I have rooted the device and having teamwin recovery...... Can I simply flash this OTA.zip???
TWRP
Doesnt flash with twrp for some reason.. gives an error with updater binary!
If I'm already using SwiftKey should I uninstall it before update?

When?

i am stock and unrooted, will i wipe everything if i flash it?

i think if u wipe it it will get wiped
if u just flash on top of it u should be fine
For Indian users :
1. Download this cm-11.0-XNPH44S-bacon-signed-fastboot .
2. extract the zip and run the following 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' and 'fastboot flash system sytem,.img'.
3. Download OTA-UPDATE-05Q and transfer to phone.
4. Reboot phone to recovery i.e. hold power and vol down until you reach the oneplus logo.
5. Select the option to Apply Update--> From Internal Memory--> select the OTA file you have downloaded or you can do adb sideload.
6. Select Install/Yes and wait for 4-5 minutes.
7. Once the phone has rebooted, please do reboot once again to optimise the cache.
8. Thats it you are ready to go.!!!
Honestly there are about 4 other threads open with the OTA update and instructions on how to flash. Every single question on page 1&2 has been asked in nauseum throughout xda guys.. For crying out loud search it won't kill ya.
Its an OTA of course it won't wipe everything has any OTA ever wiped out your whole system
How can you get an answer to when stock rooted will be done when the guy that does it don't know. When it's ready its ready that simple
You need a complete stock OS with no changes to any SYSTEM files to be able to successfully flash OTA or else it will fail in recovery TWRP or any of them.
Lastly OP why post a zip when you know you have not reached your limit. If people are too lazy to search for answers the extra steps you created definitely will only cause extra issues. Thx for your contribution though
*Facepalm
Flash it like a regular Rom. Zip file through custom recovery.
WARNING: PEOPLE ARE HAVING ISSUES AND GETTING ERRORS IF THEY PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED EXPOSED FRAMEWORK AND TAMPERED WITH THE FRAMEWORK SETTINGS. THEN DON'T FOLLOW THESE STEPS!! ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAD A COMPLETE STOCK, UNLOCK BOOTLOADER, ROOT, CUSTOM RECOVERY SHOULD BE FINE!!
*these are the steps I did and I'm running everything fine on my end*
..On Stock 44s Build..
If already unlock bootloader, root, custom recovery..
-download the zip file
-place it in the internal storage
-(if you want root *download the latest supersu.zip file) other wise you will have no root! Place that in the internal storage as well
-boot into recovery (I'm using the latest twrp recovery)
- MUST WIPE FACTORY DATA RESET, WIPE DATA & CASHE!!
-flash rom
-flash supersu
-reboot and you should be on the new ota with root
Flashed over stock without a problem.

I had same issue as md5 verification was checked by default and its was failing because of that. When you uncheck and flash it works fine.

Ok, great. One more thing, does it make a difference if I flash this over stock lollipop instead of arianfans? I already got the former running.

[Q] Safety net issues / temporarily deactivating SU

Hi
Are there any knows workarounds on how to pass safety net? I'm running LineageOS 15.0, and just tried logging into Snapchat - failed. Guess that's the safety net working.. Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?
Thanks,
- H

Thank you for your response. Yes, I should have mentioned that I did do some research prior to posting, but the results I found, all either (as you link to) required Magisk SU, or (official?) CyanogenMod/LineageOS based ROM's (as shown here: https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.bhb27.isu ).
The reason I posted my question being that I am using SuperSU and the unofficial LineageOS 15.0 by vache (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/rom-lineageos-15-0-t3673573 ), and therefore - by all definitions - am not eligible for any of those solutions.
But you're right - I should've made that clear. Tho, one could make the argument that you also could've made ur point in a slightly less presumptuous, arrogant and wannabe superior way

Didn't intend to be arrogant. Sorry for giving you that impression. I'm using Los 15 by vache too. In 'the old days' I used SuperSU, but, imho, that's outdated. Magisk has become the new standard for me, in combination with the safeteynet fix, it's perfect. It passes the safeteynet and you can download and use all 'root critical' apps like Pokémon Go, Netflix, Snapchat, etc.

No problem
Cool, thanks. I have been away from "the android game" for some years, but have just recently got this Moto G5.. so yea, I don't really know what's "new" in the world of android customization. When I was doing this last time, it was all about Superuser, CM, Xposed framework, and apps like 4ext, a2sd, titanium, etc.. the old times..
Anyways, thank you for the update. A quick question; what would you recommend as the best procedure for switching over to Magisk - can I just flash it over the SuperSU, or would you recommend the whole big backup and clean re-install approach..?

Well, imho you have 2 basic options.
1. Make a Titanium Backup, go to TWRP, wipe cache, dalvik-cache, system and data. Reinstall LOS15, gapps and magisk. After setting up your device reinstall your apps using Titanium Backup. Install the safeteynet fix AFTER the first boot with magisk installed. So basically this is a clean install.
2. Go to TWRP. Wipe just the system partition. Reinstall the rom, gapps, magisk and, after a reboot, the Safetynet fix. All your apps should still be there... No garantee, but it should work.
Good luck!

Samsung pay on watch when rooted

Hello, I have a new one plus 8 pro and I am rooted. I also have a Galaxy watch and when I install Samsung pay on the watch it says call customer service device has been compromised even though I have magiskhide for all the Samsung modules. Does anyone have any ideas how to get this working?
Thank you in advance...
I have the same problem. Completely stock. So I wonder if it's a Samsung issue. I had the 6t rooted and I was able to use Samsung pay without any problems
Okay, I think I found the answer. In magisk settings, you need to rename the package to something else. It is the third option down in settings. After I change the name it worked like a charm and of course you have to hide the for Samsung modules in magiskhide...

Is this still working for you? It's definitely not working on my end with my Pixel. The newest Magisk Manager also does not allow you to select any apps to hide, it's a simple toggle on or off for Magisk Hide and renaming the Magisk Manager didn't do anything.
Did you have to reboot after the rename?

UPDATED Post : see next post for my solution that worked.
Hi aaronc_98,
Hope this is actually still working for you on your OP8 Pro!
When you say you need to rename the package, what are you referring to exactly?? The Samsung Pay app or Hide the Magisk App (renaming) in App settings?
Please provide more details on a step-by-step process you did to make it work on your OP device...if still working.
I have OP6T and it has stopped working recently and can't find a way to get back.
My setup:
OP6T, OOS 10.3.11
Galaxy Watch 46mm, latest OS installed (Jun 15, 2021)
Galaxy Wear App, SPAY Watch Plugin up to date. (Jun 15, 2021).
Thanking you in advance!

UPDATE,
Got it all to work!
Preparation:
- Install Galaxy Wearable
- Update Watch to the latest
- Install SP Watch Plugin (do not launch it at all)
Magisk Setup:
- Hide the following apps in MagiskHide: Hit the shield, Hit "MagiskHide" and select the apps:
a) Google Play Services
b) Samsung Health
c) SP Watch Plugin
* You can add banking apps here as well

}
Next, recommend hiding the Magisk App itself for the setup. Here is how to do it:
- Hit "Settings" (within Magisk App)
- Hit "Hide the Magisk App" (I used MGKSettings).
Magisk will accept it and repopulate itself.
For good measure, I rebooted my device to recovery (TWRP in my case) wiped "Dalvik / ART Cache" and rebooted to system.
Once rebooted, go to the SP Watch Plugin App INFO (Do not launch the App), got to Storage & Cache & Clear Storage & Cache (should be 0 on both) for good measure!
Launch Galaxy Wear and (Strongly Recommended) scroll down to setup Samsung Pay and follow the steps. **(I don't recommend doing the SPay setup through the Watch Plugin.)**
If you get a notice within 10 seconds saying that the device is not secure (can't remember the message), you may have missed something and you need to start over with clean install of the SP Watch Plugin (storage & cache cleared).
Worst case they may have updated the Samsung Pay, Samsung Health Apps & OOS and it's been blocked again. Therefore we would need to restart the whole process from scratch or find another workaround.
PS. Some of you would probably like to restore or Un-Hide the Magisk App, so I went ahead and did it....so far SPay seems to be working. I have not reboot my device neither, which I rarely do. (I have rebooted my device several times since this post)
For any reason, in the coming days, there is an issue of any kind, I will report back here. If not, it's all good!
Hopefully this can help some of you out there!
worked for me, thanks a lot
