Samsung WatchOn App issue

I have notice that this app turns on automatically in the task bar, and I cannot turn it off unless I go to running apps and disable it. Has anyone else had this issue and how can I fix it?

When you open app and go to settings you can turn off by unchecking "Show remote control on notification panel". But for some reson mine is showing back after i restert my phone..Maybe is just my phone.. Try..

It is not just your phone and it is quite annoying to have to turn it off after every reboot.

This is an issue with the last update. I notified the developer and they Emailed me back telling me they are aware of the issue and will be adding a "fix" in a future update.

If you wipe data on the app then this stops. It has for me at least

If you don't mind, reboot your phone (completely turn off and then back on) and once it is fully rebooted, pull down your notification panel and see if it turns back on again.

If you wipe the data, it clears all the settings... I have the same issue. I want it to only be active when I call for it by clicking the app. Not all the time. I tried greenify and it seemed to work until I opened the app, now it is back to coming back after every reboot.

Lightflow kills one hand operation

I don't use it very often but I do like one handed operation. Today I realized that it wasn't working so I started undoing all the mods/setup I've been working on. Turns out it was lightflow. I can disable it in accessibility options and one hand operation immediately starts working.
Are there any other decent led control apps to try?
Thought I'd post here to hopefully save anyone else the trouble if they run into the same problem.

It seems like having anything enabled under Accessibility kills one-handed mode.
But Light Flow is working for me without the Accessibility setting. There's a new setting called Notification Access in the Security section.
Try enabling Light Flow there and see if it works. As I said, mine is working that way, but I'm also rooted, so maybe that has something to do with it...

Yeah it was enabled there too. Maybe there's just something wrong with mine because my wife just informed me that hers is working find and all she did was install it and forget about it. I had to enable options I've never used before like the one to make the led flash even when the screen is on, in order to get or to do anything at all.
I'm rooted too.

Make sure that you have the LED settings under 'Settings' > 'Display' to have "Charging" and "Notifications" checked along with the checkbox in 'Security' > 'Notification Access'.

Lol, looks like that was my problem. For some reason I thought they all needed to be turned off so I did that initially and didn't even think to revisit it.

So we don't need to enable it in accessibility? Cuz that ruins most features. Makes you disable them.

Mine is currently disabled in Accessibility and enabled in Security -> Notification Access. In Display -> LED indicator, I have Charging, and Notifications checked.
Working like a charm.

Works good this way with or without root. Just installed.opened.enabled the notification access. And use. Doesn't need enabled in accessibility.

In my S3 they had to be disabled in stock settings to work. In this they need to be enabled in stock settings for it to work. I know lightflow told me to disable it in stock settings on the S3.

I cannot find the setting to allow gps tagging on my pictures. Does any know where it is?

In Camera select settings. Scroll Down and select Location Tags to turn it on.

I did however install some of the free camera mode features, maybe it got installed with one of them. If you select mode and go to the bottom there is an option to download. I picked a few of the and they installed, then that's when I noticed the location feature. Try that.

Tried that. All 4 modes. Still no go. What mode did you see the option in?

Camera settings is actually bigger than what is shown use your finger to scroll it up and you'll see more options

Lux > Settings > Advanced > Alternate overlay and everything should work fine. I am using lux too.

Don't use fingerprint as you lockscreen lock type.

Settings > Lock Screen & Security > Screen lock type.

haha sorry. I wasn't very specific. I want to keep the fingerprint scanner as the option to unlock my phone. But I just don't want the message as it destroys my wallpaper. I just want the small lock. What do I need to modify to get rid of the few words?

A very odd thing to be annoyed about in my view but it goes to show that people are different. There is no method that I'm aware, although it's possible there is an Xposed module that could do it. Alternatively, you can always try a third party lock solution, although I'm unsure how secure they would leave your phone in comparison to the default system one. There would almost certainly be vulnerabilities to some installable lock applications, so if you go down that route I suggest you do your research.

A very odd thing to be annoyed about (as Beefheart already noted) indeed, but "freaking nitpicking"? I wouldn't go that far.
We actually benefit from these (sometime odd) desire to customize/tinker our phones

mine says swipe screen to unlock with a little lock above, yet I still use fingerprint to unlock. never seen what you describe. interesting.
