I love this phone but Samsung and AT&T included a lot of stuff I have no use for and that I cannot disable thanks.
i rooted on qe2 unlocked and it worked
I just did a scan with the BlueBorne Vulnerability Scanner on all my devices, my s5 neo is vulnerable for the exploit (my s6 too).
I'm on stock 6.0.1 MMB29K.G903FXXU1BQC1 , security patch level is july 1st 2017 . Is there a way to patch the exploit myself via adb? I need bluetooth for various headsets, so never using bluetooth again is no option.
I do hope to get some kind of official security patch in the next ?? months, but as the s5 and s5 plus were already served with security patches I'm not sure, no love for the s5 neo I guess
I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 (G950F) on stock ROM, Android Pie, on security patch June 2019. Is it possible to downgrade it to stock ROM, Android Pie security patch March 2019 using the Odin method? I have already downloaded the appropriate firmware (G950FXXS4DSC2).
No u can't downgrade anymore , your bootloader is on v5 and there is no way currently to downgrade bootloader to older version
Thank you for your response. Theoretically would I be able to downgrade an S8 on the May 2019 update (G950FXXU4DSE4) to the March 2019 update (G950FXXS4DSC2)? If I am correct the digit after FXXU, i.e 4 represents the bootloader version, which is 4 in this case.

Yes u can downgrade to any earlier pie or Oreo frimware as long u didn't install June update
I thought this was possible too. That's half the reason I rooted. A security update messed up my night mode and it's very annoying. Shame. I doubt Samsung will fix it with any future updates.
I am currently on
Android Security Patch Dec 1 2019
OxygenOS v10.3.0
Build Number A6013_34_191228
System Update wants me to go to A6013_34_200207
Android Security Patch February 2020
Is there a way to TWRP flash the patch and retain Root / TWRP?
I have been searching Google / XDA and my search FOO must be broken because everything I find wants me to go to the international version
Any help is appreciated!
Just received a used Galaxy s10 that I bought in hopes of rooting and installing a custom rom.
Phone has the March 1, 2021 security updates installed so am I screwed?
