To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Moto G7 Power can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

The phone recognises my older QC3.0 chargers and draws almost 6V at 3A as displayed by an inline meter. I'm pretty happy with this. I don't have an inline meter to determine what's going across USB-PD though.

I'm on the fence buying the 2 to c adapter for my phone to attach to my dock...

There is something going on when connected to a USB-PD port and the phone recognises it as turbo power. I don't have a USB-C meter to measure though.

I have the Mexican version of this phone and I spent 2 months in Europe (where there's 220v power). I used the same TurboPower charger and after a couple of weeks there, the TurboCharging stopped working. The phone still charges but it takes about 4 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. Also, the phone is no longer recognized by my computers (Windows 10 and Kubuntu 18.04). I tried different USB cable and chargers and they all TurboCharge and USB-connect with my son's identical phone but not with mine. (My son never took his phone to Europe though so that's why his works still).
This makes me believe that something in the 220v power messed up my phone's USB-C port and it now functions in the slow format and without data. That's fine but just thought I'd mention it because it seems like something that also happened in previous Moto G-series phones.
Anyway, I hope this helps someone.

I'm assuming the 220v standard is higher than that here in the US, maybe it's suffered damage from overvoltage or something of that sort?
Just a sorta-educated-sorta-uneducated guess on my part, I know very little about the ins and outs of electricity and its interactions with electronic devices.

I've had similar things happen to one of my LG phones when travelling... never went back to the way it used to.

[INFO] 100% Awake While Charging - Certain Chargers

I have done a bit of testing on an issue I thought I might have been imagining, and it seems there is an issue there after all.
Issue: Hero will sleep properly while charging, but only while plugged in to certain chargers.
Detail: My HTC wall charger model CNR6700 (clearly from an older phone of mine), is rated at 5v and 1A, which is the same rating as the wall charger that came with my Hero, model TC P300, also 5v and 1A. Should there be any functional difference between them as far as charging is concerned? I had assumed not, and I was wrong.
When plugged in to the CNR6700, the phone will not sleep, ever, although the screen does shut off on its own.
When plugged in to the TC P300, the phone will sleep within a minute of being plugged in, always.
I tested this a few times, back and forth between the chargers for 10 minutes at a time, and the results were completely consistent. Prior to today's testing, I have seen this issue (same issue, to the best of my recollection) on not just the recent 2.1 roms, but also on the 1.5 roms I previously had ran.
Anyone have any thought on why this might be? I would love to hear back from other people who are having trouble with their Hero sleeping while charging. Specifically, by model, what charger are you using, and do you have any others you can test with (in particular the one the Hero came with) to compare your results with?
Not sure about this, but I do know after talking to some associates at one of our electronic supply stores here that HTC's need a lot of power to charge and you can not use a power supply to charge them unless they are for HTC phones.
Mine sleeps fine with my wifes blackberry curve charger. I use an old razr charger at work but don't know if it sleeps or not.

Granted, they do draw a lot of power. As far as I know, a current generation HTC phone will pull nearly the full 1A (1000mA) that their chargers supply if it's available. USB ports are generally only required to supply 500mA per port, and you may notice that many other chargers only supply that much. So, not all chargers will be as effective.
However as I said, both the chargers I tested with are HTC brand, 5V 1A. One is older (6700-era, purchased with 6800, or maybe with Touch Pro), and one came with my Hero. Seems that perhaps there is some different circuitry in the chargers beyond their power rating that the phone responds to...?
To re-frame the question, why can an HTC phone sleep while charging on a 'new' HTC charger, but not on an 'old' HTC charger, or presumably on various other chargers, when they have the same power ratings?

USB Charging Kills HD2 like in one day?

Hey! Guys I am having problems with the USB Charging, it seems to drain the 100% charged battery quicker (while using the phone, unplugged NOT charging) like one day and I have to charge the phone again, But when i charge my phone (100% charge) using the wall charger my phone lasts two and a half days. My wife also said she experiences the same thing with USB charged HTC Trinity Phone. I have tried on different computers and laptops as well but still the same and i know that USB charging will take longer to charge (500mah) so i leave the phone over night like 9 hours but the phone drains like juice. What kind of a Phenomenon is this.. Guys i need your humble thoughts and solutions on this because this is becoming a big problem for me since i use USB charging mostly... Plus I am not a very hardcore app, wifi or games user on the phone either... Darn...

I don't know why but i meting with the same problem. No idea why this happening it should be same from electric perspective.
When the phone cahrges via computer USB, the phone charges at a rate of around 90mA due to the phone running. Try with the phone off

I am pulling my hair off because of this problem.. darn why is this just so... i mean like in the second post the process should be electronically identical right. only difference is it takes more time to charge from USB.... Grrrrr!
my phone hardly last one day..How do you make it last for 2 1/2 days?

Battery indicators do lie.
it all depends upon if your board can deliver enough current to run the phone and charge it. on my rig i see no difference between wall charger and laptop or desktop charging
the laptop is a studio 15 with an i5 and h55 chipset and the desktop is a core 2d machine with a p45 series chipset.
you can tell the phone to disable usb charging if the phone is on while connected to usb to see if that helps (it will still charge via USB if the phone is off)

any usb not from china will give about 500mah, whether it be my i7 laptop or z550 vaio, so specific components shouldn't matter.
usb charges a little slower, but no reason it should not last as long once its got all the amps it can take. weird situation man...my huge list of htc phones never had an issue, and i do use a work computer to charge via usb sometimes

Weird... Yeah thats the thing i am also using a Core i7 930 CPU and my motherboard is ASUS ROG Rampage III Gene board, so i don't think my system is the problem here...
The wall charger delives 2 amperes to our HTC phones while usb ports delivery only 500mA (0,5 amperes). It's not only a matter of charging slower but you can't deliver the full charge the battery needs to revert the chemical process of discharging when tou use usb port. With 2amperes the charging process reachs it's maximum.

some cheap mainboards cannot supply even 500ma. a good qaulity board can supply more.
want to test it? put your HD2 in the first USB port and then put a high power device like a wireless dongle or external USB HDD in the second and see what happens. if your board cannot power both, you'll drop your wireless/hdd connection when you plug your phone in.

Sir I have said that I am not a very heavy phone using guy, I am an average phone user. Plus I dont use the 3g or data connection here in my country since the connections are snail slow and prices are over the head and there is no unlimited data package here yet. I use the Wifi sometimes to update my twitter, Rss hub, facebook, weather tabs and very little market place... So my phone lasts for two and a half days when i use the wall charger.
Oh yeah and Guys, i tried recalibrating the battery by using it till the phone died completely and recharging it with USB (phone turned off) for like a day but still it drains faster than the wall charger rate.... I dont understand really...

This is why. The awnser was given, but people ignored it. To fully charge a battery it needs more amperes. Use the wall charger. The battery indicator lies, and is unable to acuratly measure a fully charged battery. It'll display 100% when it's roughly 70%.
Our batteries use Lithium ions as means of electricity. They use a Lithium compound, and move the ions from the negative to the positive pole. When there are no more ions to move, our batteries are discharged. When we connect to an external power source, the higher voltage will draw the ions back to the "negative pole".
USB supplies 500 mA (that's 0.5A) @ 5V (per specification, some motherboards won't be able to go that high, depending number of USB devices connected, etc)
European electrical sockets supply up to 2.5A @ 230V and although your HTC charger should only output 1A @ 5V, the topping off will occur much quicker.
Basically the more you have to charge, the more time it takes, and the bigger the effort on the current to pull the remaining ions back to the negative pole.
I am finding that in Android, my phone will not charge with either wall or usb charging. The phone shows that it is charging but does not actually charge. This is really unacceptable. It works in Windows Mobile but is not a listed problem of the Android builds. Are all of you using WM6.5 or Android? Or both?

I can Charge my HD2 well on both OS's but still when compared to android and WinMo when i use the USB Android does discharge heavily than WinMO and Android does the same when compared to WinMO on wall charger use as well... So nothing much more to say at that...
Charging mobiles using USB takes alot longer than using power outlet and this is valid for all kind of mobiles, ALSO when you charge by USB your mobiles battery drains much faster than charging from power outlet. (Electrical Engineers say so).
NOW why you don't use power outlet to charge your HD2 rather than using USB?
There are safety measures in charging from USB like, static issues from wall charger in some countries and then there is the ease of use from charging from PC while you are at work or away on a business trip..

Mine lives for 5 days on just 1 charge, and with normal use (every 2/3 hours updating weather and twitter, sometimes call, sometimes texting, sometimes using internet)

[Q] Pogo Cable Issue

Hello there developers,not sure if I'm posting on the right place but I have a really big problem. My new Pogo Cable arrived and I was so excited to use it,but my happiness didn't lasted fort too long. The problem is that the Tablet while charging with the Pogo cable is either charging slow ,or neither at all. This issue is available for both Lollipop and Kit-Kat,have upgraded an then downgraded with the hope that the issue will be solved. The original Micro -Usb cable works good but with the Pogo Cable in the Battery Monitor Widget it appears "Discharging" and "AC Plugged",and the charging rate is booring slow. Had the idea to measure the Voltage and the current Flow with a multimeter and got the surprise that while the voltage is 5.12 V the amperage is 0.12 A ,while the original charger pumps up to 2 Amps. Could this be the issue? Is there some electrical switch that should open and release all those 2 Amps or is this Cable a Hoax or something that is not fully functional? Thanks in advance,hope that you guys will enlight me somehow!
I've no idea if this is related but be aware that having your pogo plug connected while also having anything connected to the microUSB will stop charging. The charging icon (lightning bolt) will still appear but that I'd a false indicator. This limitation is due to the Android kernel and is present in all versions of Android.
I exclusively use a pogo plug to charge my Nexus 10 and it has always worked on all versions of Android including 5.0.2 which I'm on today. For me pogo plug charging has always been about 25 percent faster then USB charging.

well my warranty is expired so i Decided to "surgically" dissmantle my Nexus 10 in a heroic attempt to find the cause and I have made a breakthrough (or at least I tought so). I got another Pogo cable ,and this one was good,the voltage was exactly 5 Volts measured and the Amperage that I got was 2.21 Amps measured with a 6 Ohm fuse,all these values where from the original Samsung charger. All things good,but the Tablet is still not charging at all,the same Lightning animations and even after 3~4 hours still no charge at all,and this is Lame in my opinion. So after opening the tablet,I got the idea to short the 3 and 4 pogo pins together,and assumed that this will draw all the power that the battery needs to charge,the idea was working i got 20% more power draw than the usb cable BUT for only let's say Half of hour ,and then the same old story,battery was discharging but the lightning animation was on. This is not so good and my suppose is that the Power Management iC from the motherboard is some how not managing the Pogo charge at all :laugh: so my next idea is to wire the charging Pogo pins directly to the battery and hope for the best. I've got one of the original n10 from first day of issue. My battery is going to hell after being used and charged every day for the past couple years. It's been on/run everyday since Dec. 2012. I have always had a problem charging while using it. My display is always set at about 1/3 bright. When my battery drops to critical, I plug in the pogo and usually put it in sleep mode to charge. It will quick charge that way.
If I still need to use it at critical battery level, plugged into the pogo plug, it maintains power and possibly gives it a very slow increase in charge. Almost none noticeable, but will maintain power level (unless tons of graphic, camera or movies along with full bright screen).
I've just taken it for granted that this is how it works. Pogo plug will maintain battery while using and will switch to quick charge once put into sleep mode or powered off. It's always acted that way, so I have never known anything different.

Well I'm sure about what did you said,but in my opinion this is a marketing bulls$h*t. Why would I use that Pogo cable if it's role is to charge only on sleep mode and powered off?I ordered because I thought that like the instructions of the pogo says:" it will charge the battery even when you are using it for movies and browsing,being more handy ,because you have the micro USB port free." I play games ,I surf the web,so my tablet is hooked up to a USB hub so I have connected a mouse,a keyboard and a game controller,so my USB port is full,and I hoped the pogo will help. Charging only on sleep is equal to zero for me,I need live charging,in the same time as the tablet runs games and other stuff. In my opinion this "glitch" should have been told on the pogo site,so I could full understand this cable and it's role. Shame on Samsung,30$ .for nothing! Thanks for the help!

Charging Speed

i have had the V20 for about 12 hours in which time it charged from about 50% to about 75% ... my Note would accomplish the same in about 15 minutes ... and yet the V20 is supposed to run the same type of quick charger on the same size battery ... something about this doesn't rub me the right way
yes i did use the phone and unplug it a few times etc but it still should have been much faster ...
it was connected using its own cable and charger BUT through a USB extension cord ... so then i thought maybe that's the problem - maybe i need a longer type C cable and to get rid of extension cord ... but i need to have an answer to that BEFORE buying new cables ...
so i plugged it in directly ( no extension ) and tried to see if it charges in correct mode ...
and here is where i face plant into a wall of excruciating stupidity ... every single app out there measures charging current, whereas what i really want to know is whether the charger is running at 5V standard voltage or using the quick charge 9V voltage ... amazingly there doesn't seem to be an app to show this - or is there ?
my galaxy note would simply say " adaptive quick charger connected " when plugged into quick charger but the V20 doesn't say anything like that.
accubattery app says my screen on charging rate is 760 ma and screen off is 1760 ma ... and the charger of course states 1.8 A so that's consistent ... but is that at 5V or at 9V ? the charger supports both - which one is it ?
this is killing me - so much stupidity. it shouldn't be that hard to figure out whether the phone is charging correctly or not.
anybody have an idea how i could find out whether the charger is actually stepping up to 9V without physically cutting the USB cable and using my multimeter ?
EDIT: i realized i have a kill-a-watt ( actually two of them ) and i can measure power draw from 120V outlet ... so i did that. the draw fluctuated from about 6 to 13 watt. now if we assume 90% efficiency on the charger then full power would have to draw 18 watt from outlet - clearly it never got close. on the other hand at 5V it should have maxed out at around 10 watt power draw, and it went quite a bit over that so it would seem to be using the 9V mode ...
at this point however i'm up to 90% battery and can't expect it to charge at full rate any more as some battery charging algorithms taper off above 80% or so ...
i tried with and without extension cord and noticed no difference ... also if i remember correctly my Note also charged fine over this same extension cord ... but i'm not sure
EDIT: played with turning off 2nd screen as well as shutting down device completely - this phone is crazy. power draw is all the place - at one point it went to ZERO and stayed there until i unplugged it and plugged it back in, then it would fluctuate between zero and 14 watts ...
you know back in the day i had LG Nitro HD and it had worst battery performance of any phone ever ... and this V20 seems to be living up to that legacy. WTF.
anyway, it seems the charger and the cable and extension are not to blame - it seems there is some kind of software weirdness that is resulting in very sporadic power draw ...
slow charging is one of the reasons i switched from iPhone back to Android - i expected this V20 to perform similarly ( blazing fast charging ) to the Note 4 i had before the iPhone 6S Plus ... but it's charging performance so far is almost identical to the iPhone - slow as a snail.
i already spent $80 on case and screen protector and i'm supposed to spend a bunch more on extra cables and memory card as well as sell my iPhone and at the same time i'm thinking - maybe i should just return it ? going to have to observe it for a while longer before making any decisions either way ... terrible.

yeah it fluctuates a lot. i gave up on apps and just using Kill-a-watt now which is a physical power meter you insert into 120V outlet. it shows power draw from charger, not output, but we can assume about 90% efficiency from input to output of charger.
i let the V20 drain to 40% overnight and restarted the test today. with the extension cord it went up to 16 watt draw from outlet and stayed there - charge quickly went up to 55% then i tried without the extension cord and now its only at 11 watts. this is with both screens off. so far my conclusion is that using an extension cord makes no difference but the level of charge on the phone does impact the charging speed. you need to drain the phone to measure full charging speed.
i will continue with my testing but i am somewhat relieved. 16 watts is close to spec, in fact the spec is 16 watt but on the OUTPUT side of charger, not input, so i'm withing about 10% of spec.
i'm also a lot less nervous buying charging cables now that i verified 16 watt charging over many years old USB 2.0 extension cord ...
EDIT: wow it went from 55% to 68% while i was typing this message ! this is very different from what i saw yesterday ... it was running at 11 watts while i was typing. looks like the phone charges fast as long as it is: 1) drained and 2) left alone. if the phone is almost full and you keep playing with it the level of charge barely changes.
EDIT: at 89% charge it's now down to just 4 watts power draw from outlet ... 25% of what it was pulling at 40% charge. so far it looks like it tapers charging speed off gradually with charge level - starts early and tapers it off to almost nothing as it nears full charge ... and all the while it fluctuates with processor and screen use and probably other factors such as temperature. maybe the reason it went to 16 watts when i plugged it in the morning is that the phone was cold from not being used all night and perhaps it now warmed up so the power got tapered.
maybe i'll stop testing it - it seems to be working correctly, just not the way i originally expected it to.
overall i'm disappointed with this phone but the only phone i would trade it for is Pixel XL 128 GB Very Black which is unavailable ... so i guess i will keep it.
the phone i'm most impressed with right now is ZTE Axon 7 i got for my mother - it is shockingly good - if it wasn't for FM radio, IR Blaster, Removable Battery, Laser Autofocus, Dual Camera, Dual Screen and Nougat i would even say the ZTE Axon 7 is BETTER than V20. the main problem with ZTE is it's just not expensive enough for my ego - otherwise it is great. the screen is is super sharp, vivid and punchy, the front facing speakers are loud and crisp and then there's the 2 year warranty. i'm jealous ...
but i will stick with V20 to protect my dignity. because let's face it - if i'm out on a date i want to have the latest, most technologically advanced and most expensive phone - not the cheapest phone, even if it is just as good or better. really happy with my decision to get Axon 7 for my mom though. she loves it as well.
The way QC works is that it will charge fastest from low power until around 70-80% and then slow down A LOT to help preserve the battery. That is why you saw a high wattage and then when you got into the 80's you saw a very low wattage.
QC is mainly for you to get 40-50% of battery power in a relative short amount of time when your battery is low.
I bought a little device that measures the voltage and current of the charge. And I'm using my own Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger.
When the screen is off or powered down, it charges at 9V/1.8A max. Resulting in about 16W of power. Which is pretty much what the supplied LG charger delivers.
When the screen is on, it charges at 5V/0.5A
My QC3.0 charger is capable of up to 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A, 18W of power. The V20 doesn't seem to draw that much power. And now I'm starting to doubt the V20 is truly a QC3.0 device.

I bought a little device that measures the voltage and current of the charge. And I'm using my own Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger.
When the screen is off or powered down, it charges at 9V/1.8A max. Resulting in about 16W of power. Which is pretty much what the supplied LG charger delivers.
When the screen is on, it charges at 5V/0.5A
My QC3.0 charger is capable of up to 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A, 18W of power. The V20 doesn't seem to draw that much power. And now I'm starting to doubt the V20 is truly a QC3.0 device.

I'll grab voltage/amp reader that I have at home and test my 3 QC 3.0 chargers I have (I'll drain phone to around 20% and then test them and see how it goes) - I'm going to test with the phone off so it pulls the max and see what it ends up with

i'm also a lot less nervous buying charging cables now that i verified 16 watt charging over many years old USB 2.0 extension cord ...
EDIT: wow it went from 55% to 68% while i was typing this message ! this is very different from what i saw yesterday ... it was running at 11 watts while i was typing. looks like the phone charges fast as long as it is: 1) drained and 2) left alone. if the phone is almost full and you keep playing with it the level of charge barely changes.
EDIT: at 89% charge it's now down to just 4 watts power draw from outlet ... 25% of what it was pulling at 40% charge. so far it looks like it tapers charging speed off gradually with charge level - starts early and tapers it off to almost nothing as it nears full charge ... and all the while it fluctuates with processor and screen use and probably other factors such as temperature. maybe the reason it went to 16 watts when i plugged it in the morning is that the phone was cold from not being used all night and perhaps it now warmed up so the power got tapered.
maybe i'll stop testing it - it seems to be working correctly, just not the way i originally expected it to.
overall i'm disappointed with this phone but the only phone i would trade it for is Pixel XL 128 GB Very Black which is unavailable ... so i guess i will keep it.
the phone i'm most impressed with right now is ZTE Axon 7 i got for my mother - it is shockingly good - if it wasn't for FM radio, IR Blaster, Removable Battery, Laser Autofocus, Dual Camera, Dual Screen and Nougat i would even say the ZTE Axon 7 is BETTER than V20. the main problem with ZTE is it's just not expensive enough for my ego - otherwise it is great. the screen is is super sharp, vivid and punchy, the front facing speakers are loud and crisp and then there's the 2 year warranty. i'm jealous ...
but i will stick with V20 to protect my dignity. because let's face it - if i'm out on a date i want to have the latest, most technologically advanced and most expensive phone - not the cheapest phone, even if it is just as good or better. really happy with my decision to get Axon 7 for my mom though. she loves it as well.

Thats weird, Im using my Note 7 charger on the V20 and it charge the phone completely in less that 2 hours. In my case I always drain my phone to 3% and leave it charging up to 100%. I will check again tonight to be sure.

I wouldn't drain it that low all the time unless you plan on stocking up on batteries or don't mind depleting longevity of battery quicker than usual.

I was getting 9.2v @ 1.67A = 15w of power. This is the max that my USB multimeter can do so it would seem that this charger is good for QC 3.0 as it did fluctuate voltage as needed.

That is still wasteful use on a battery and giving the next guy a raw deal. But to each his own. I try and make everything last and more efficient so the next person feels like they are truly getting an almost lightly used phone. If I sell my note4, they're going to get a lightly used battery on top of the 3 extras, with fixed GPS and better reception and cleaned out USB port with no oxidization. Same with my HTC m8 though that was only used as daily driver for two weeks and then a DAP for trips and occasional home use. Definitely selling the m8. They are basically getting a lightly used phone and the battery should still have some good life coming out of it. And personally I think jump is overpriced leasing but I guess you can drive it like you stole it. I prefer handing down the best experience I can to the next person.

My devices go back to tmobile which then go back for refurbishment. With the V20 it's easy for them to just replace the battery.

Just tested this one at work. Phone was at 28% and I had been streaming Youtube for a good 2 hours before doing the test.
Ended up pulling 9.17v @ 1.68A = 15.40 watts (again maximum that my tester can do).
I'll be ordering a new tester that can handle up to 25A and testing again to see if I can pull the max 18watts of power that the QC 3.0 chargers says it can deliver

This looks like a good device.
There are time on my v10 where I'll plug it in and it will charge at a reduced rate so I have to unplug it and plug it back it and it changes to fast charge, that's just been my experience. This is using factory plug and adapter too.
So you might want to make sure the phone says "fast charging" and not "charging".

2 month old ZTE AXON 7 won't quick charge anymore.

My phone is two months old and has ceased to quick-charge. Actually, 90% of the time, it will only charge when powered down. I use the factory charger and cable but get a message that I need to use the original charger and cable. Catch 22?
I bought it at Best Buy so I took it back to them this evening. My charger is fine as is my cable. Best Buy confirmed that my issue is a factory defect and politely sent me on my way. I take care of my phones if nothing more than the fact that I've had to replace micro USB ports in the past. The weird thing is that when it charges powered down, it seems to refresh to full battery very quickly.
Has anyone else had similar issues? If in fact, I do have to deal with ZTE, what has been members experience?

U can test your charger using USB volt amp reader on another phone which supports quick charging.
If charger works as it should then u need to test your phone with multimeter to see how much current it draws while phone is powered off without charger (battery only).
But that means you need to open 2 month old phone which i dont recommend if u have warranty.
Axon 7 draws about 2.66-2.68 amps while in quick charging mode. Volts i forgot but i think it was 6v. I'm not in shop at the moment so i cant know exactly.
But for amps i remembered.
Wallor77, thank you for your reply. My charger is in good working order. In fact, I have several 2.0 and 3.0 chargers. They all work fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The Samsung displays "Fast Charger Connected" on the lock screen.
Now my ZTE Axon 7 will not charge while it is powered up. As soon as I turn it off, it charges just fine. This is really annoying!

If your charger and cable are OK, perhaps have you recently installed an application which limits the power. Such methods exists in some antivírus to preserve the health of the battery. It's just an idea.

Same thing there. If it charges normally while power off u need to see how much amps. USB volt amp reader is a good little device. I recommend for everyone to get one. It cost about 15 bucks. From there it's all about elemination process to diagnose proper issue

I second this. But $15?! You can get them for about $5 on aliexpress!
U have USB volt amp reader with both volt units, amp units, time duration and mAh over time charged value. But 15$ was about avarage price listing. I'm sure there is cheaper as well.
UPDATE: 6/2/17
I ended up sending my phone to the ZTE repair center in TX. It took about 3 weeks to get it back. There was no explanation of what was repaired and I received my original phone; not a refurbished one. All I know was that it was covered.

I am in the process of returning my 3rd Axon to ZTE. 2 of them have had this problem. It's definitely known because when I was talking to them and told them what was happening they just kind went "yeah ok" and fast tracked the whole thing. Thank god for this warranty, their quality control is ****e.

Last night, mine started doing this. It goes on and off about every two seconds. What's weird is it only does this with the quick charger. it slow charges when connected to a PC usb just fine. Its not the OEM charger either since my wife's quick charges just fine with the exact same charger.
Guess I'm going to have to call ZTE....
Mine suddenly stopped quick charging - I have 3 different chargers that work fine with other phones except for this one. And chances of all 3 of them going bad at the same time are slim to none. Tested different cables as well, but again same result. It charges with normal speed even when connected to QC3.0. Tried wiping cache. I think it's no different if I turn the phone off. Think it might be time to move on. Had it since December 2016, so I guess it's nearly 2 years old now. Still shame.

Quick update. Swapping batteries (OEM) hasn't helped. I wonder if this is software or hardware related
Let me add to this thread. I'm also not getting quick charge anymore for maybe a month already. Tried different cables, booting to safe mode, etc. There are few instances where i see quick charging but very rarely. I was thinking it's my usb port but I haven't opened my phone yet to verify.
