AllWinner T3/ Android 7.1.1/ MCU T5.3.19xxxx/ 1024x600 (Wifi BT won't auto connect) - Android Head-Units

This headunit was installed in my Mazda 5, it comes with Google Play, 2gb ram / 32gb rom. I am trying to keep it simple with the following launcher / apps installed, but I am facing a lot of pain points now.
App installed:
- Google apps (play, youtube, chrome, map, find my phone)
- OBDII app (Torque Pro)
- Dash cam app
- TPMS app with USB dongle installed
- Car Launcher
Issues I am facing:
1. Wifi will not auto connect to my 4G USB dongle (need to click SSID manually; auto connect to cellphone hotspot is no problem)
2. BT won't connect to OBDII connector (I tried 3rd part BT app, it seems the system disable BT config)
3. Popup message asking me whether the use TPMS dongle as default USB device (even I clicked by default, it prompts every time the unit startup)
Any allwinner expert can give me a hand?

Hey, any luck with this one?
I have the same unit and I am having BT issues (bad bluetooth telephony quality and lag).

Exactly the same issues i was having with my T3 Android 7.1.1 MCU T5.3.19 except for usb TPMS wich works perfectly.. Maybe I installed it in a lucky usb port?
I resolved the hotspot thing by buying a separate bluetooth usb dongle and setting tasker to turn on hotspot when paired to that bluetooth.
I still cant get OBD2 to work... Build in BT is super buggy... Android phone keeps dcing from build in BT.
Id like to root but cant find anything related to this model.

AVIN 7in Universal Android Headunit

I got this Radio hooked up a couple of weeks ago. It's my 2nd Android based Radio. My first was a OttaNavi unit and I was happy with it, but wanted Torque Pro app to work on my radio. I was under the impression when I got it. Torque would work on it. Well it doesn't. The App worked, but the BT won't connect to the OBD2. Well then I got the AVIN unit and I'm glad I did. Best headunit I have ever had. It works like it should. No glitching, screen runs smooth. Apps open up quick. etc... Works and feels like a higher end Tablet.
Like may of the other units they run a bit larger and can cause some headaches for installing. Lucky I found an easy and cheap way to install it and it looks great....
Not sure what all info you guys would want to know. So far I haven't had any issues with it yet. Only issue I'm having so far is the Torque App... I think it's going to work thou. I can connect to the OBD2 device and Torque sees it, but the OBD2 wont talk to the ECU..Which is weird to me. It all works fine with my Phone and Tablet with the same ODB2 BT Device. I had AVIN send one of their own BT Devices and it didn't change a thing...
Here is the radio..
https://avinusa.com/avin-universal-avant2-full-android-gps-navigation-system.html
It has no CD/DVD Slot or SD reader. It has 2 USB ports on the back only. I ran one USB to a port that comes out on my dash for quick access. I ran the other to the Glove box to a multi port with a larger Flash drive for music and movies.
Here is the unit installed..

Couple of screen shots with my phone..
Couple quick shots of what this unit can do...
What cant find your owners manual...No Worry.. Its loaded on your radio now...
Here is the new Home Screen after the update they sent me....I think it looks even better.
ahhhhh stuck in traffic waiting on the wife to get finish shopping...
This radio can Mirror your Phone via USB Cable. So you can operate your phone from your radio... Good for things like Netflix or Videos from your phone while going down the road.
You can use Torque like this too... Still trying to Torque to work on the unit itself.. Keep getting and Error for the OBD talking to ECU...
Screenshot of the Factory Setting Code..Simple 0000...Lets you change things like Boot up screen, Hide Icons etc..
And of course...some scatpack action...With the Scatpackforum Android App.
Does it work well with your phone? I'd love to get my nexus 7 to interface with my phone. I wonder what your ROM uses if it does indeed interact with your phone.
I'm looking at this universal AVIN unit. The information you posted already helped answer a few questions..... like can you change the boot up screen. What size USB stick are you using and how quickly does it access music (cover art and play). If you just started the car, can you see the backup camera on the head unit screen within a few seconds? It seems like if a person wanted to have data on the head unit, they could either turn on the hotspot on their phone (possibly alerting big brother to unauthorized hotspot operation) or they could use the mirrorlink function to control the phone via the head unit........ having your phone use the data and just mirroring the image to the head unit which seems like that would keep you from needing to use your hotspot function?
Thanks,
Matt

Did you find any solution?
Hi! I have the same problem with TPMS device USB connectivity with Android multimedia head unit. I tried everything, but so far no result.
Did you find any solution?
Hi! I have exact the same product and i see exact the same pictures, that means I have the same issue on my head unit PX6 with Android 11. I also updated the app to the newer version without any result. Any idea someone?
Hi, I didn't solve the issue. I have tried TPMS on two other car Android multimedia with Android 6 and 7 versions, but without any success.
Do you guys own the TPMS from the head unit seller?
If not there is most probably the issue.
There are wo many aftermarket TPMS... and the head unit supplier just implements their own stuff. Also OEM TPMS are mostly not supported.
TPMS is not from the head unit seller. Supposedly it should work with Android car aftermarket multimedia, but it seems that's not the case.

Exactly!
If I have a look at the provided pictures... It seems to be clear: The TPMS on the wheels are not connected. They need to get activated wheel by wheel.
So go through the settings of this app and try to get them activated. Ask the reseller how to activate if that is not written anywhere. If this is not possible: Send them back and get your money back.

Sorry, byt this is not correct. I 've tried everything, but the problem is not the avtivation of the sensors. The usb receiver can not be recognized by the HU. The app runs, you can choose the wheel sensor to connect, but nothing happens. The power light on the receiver flashes as before, and nothing more. Thanks anyway!

Joying UIS7862 7" setup (Including working Android Auto Wireless)

Playing around with my new unit to try and get it configured. I thought I would share what I have done so far and issues I am having.
Root:
I tried creating my own flashable image, but it did not like my 6315_1.zip file, even when signed with SignAPKv2. I was able to decipher my way into 4PDA where a user had submitted a working boot image patched with Magisk (attached). I updated to Magisk 22 from the Magisk Manager after install.
Android Auto:
Three ways to do it.
CarLink (aka ZLink)
This has worked quite well for me, but only supports wired connections. Hopefully they will update soon.
HeadUnit Reloaded
Wireless Android Auto (Note: phone calls not at 100%)
You need to be on the beta version of HUR which supports wireless android auto.
For Joying to support it, you need to change the config.txt build prop to sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=0 (you can flash link below bluetooth0.zip).
Phone calls do not come through the stereo. In HUR I get the error "Bluetooth is not connected." The phone shows an issue with bluetooth connection and says to try rebooting.
I don't know if this is an issue with the unit and it's dodgy BT or if it is the beta version of HUR.
I'm trying others to see what happens with different settings
0 = Wireless AA, unreliable phone over BT
1 = Factory default, no wireless AA
2 = Bluetooth cannot connect to anything
3 = Bluetooth cannot connect to anything
4 = Bluetooth cannot connect to anything
***Potential workaround
Phone seems to work again if bluetooth is turned off then back on. This does not seem to affect AA since it is running through a direct wifi connection at this point.
I have set a tasker task to turn bluetooth off then back on when it sees the wifi direct connection made.
The phone still says "Bluetooth is not connected" during calls, but the
Base HUR settings to not take advantage of this really nice display. I set the following in HUR's graphics settings for a big improvement:
Resolution: 1240x720
DPI: 200
Render surface: SurfaceView.
Android Auto for phones
Looks pretty good. I'd love to be able to use it for other drivers
Problem
Cannot reliably connect to other apps. NPR One and Pandora both say "there is a a problem opening....."
These apps work fine if they are playing before you open.
Adding apps to skipkillapp.prop does not seem to help
Tasker:
Difficulty reading bluetooth connections. May be related to sys.fyt.bluetooth_type above.
Prevent force close when turning car off:
Added net.dinglisch.android.taskerm = -10 to skipkillapp.prop.
Seems to be working. More to come...
Other Issues:
Deletes all google contacts:
Well known issue, remove syncing google contacts under settings -> users -> accounts -> google.
To get contacts back:
Go to contacts.google.com
Select Settings (gear icon in upper right) -> Undo changes
Go back however far you need to when you still had contacts
Recently I reset to factory defaults which killed the ability to connect to google play
Fix found in Joying forums (here).
Download firmware and place on flash drive
Go into app setting and wipe storage for Google Play Services
Immediately plug in firmware USB and let it reinstall
Magically works again after reboot
FytHWOneKey
Doesn't seem to work on this unit. Developer previously mentioned mute button (seperate in other units) was a direct android call which could only be captured with Exposed?
Hi fellow, I follow ytour post and see that you know what you're doing with the headunit
I come here asking your help
I can't see the mobile network icon in the SystemUI like the photo below (taken from4PDA forum)

Maybe a parameter in the config.txt file could help ?
Thanks in advance !

I wonder what sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=0 does in hardware terms.
The UIS7862 unit has bluetooth onboard of the SOM as well as an external USB attached Bluetooth module.
So does sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=0 select the onboard Bluetooth and sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=1 select the external USB module?
If this is the case then it may be necessary to attach a bluetooth antenna to the Unisoc module. Although I believe one of the WiFi antennas does double duty as a bluetooth antenna for this purpose.

Correct.
Do not use sys.fyt.bluetooth_type=0 on uis7862 FYT. Doing so loses bluetooth Low energy (BLE) and your hands free audio likely sound bad.
Is there a page I can go to in order to see all the options to put in the config file in order to customize it. I love had my unit for a while but am just learning how to customize the firmware

Android stereo bluetooth problems, Rootable?

Bought a no name android stereo, well I bought 2 ( different moddels) my main goal is to use it as a screen for the ecu master software so I can see the parameters of my engine. It connects to cars aftermarket ecu via a canbus bluetooth modul, its not like ur usual obd2 dongle. True problem is that the first stereo has no pairing built in to the software. The aecond one is really nice (Android 10) doesn’t feel cheap like the other ones on wish. But the Bluetooth doesn’t want to pair at all to it. Not trough the ecu app or the androids blutooth settings…. I know several people on YouTube that has found wish hud’s that has been able to do this. Sorry for bad english

I can see it on the screen of my bt app but when I select to connect to it nothing happens.(also when my phone isn't connected)
It shows dummy plug in the tourq app and any other bluetooth apps I've tried.
I don't know if it's an hardware or software issue\limitation.
I'm attachig mt HU info and I hope it would be usefull

saw a few posts here about that other people can't connect the device also, they don't mention the BT options, and I can't access to the dev options only the factory settings requierd password, the password 126. (8888 gives me options to change boot logo)
the only option that's works for me(was the defult one) to connect my phone and see it in the bt app is this: GOC_BC5_3008
In the other options I can't see my phone and OBD2 when I try to detect new bt device.
Someone with the same issue
Bluetooth connection issues
Having trouble with OBD dongle. Have installed 3 apps and although dongle will pair with head unit, the only option to select within apps says 'dummy FF:00:00:00:FF:FF'. This comes up even if dongle isn't plugged in but at the same time dongle...
forum.xda-developers.com
Which suggests its a issue with the unit.
You both look to have a PX5 (well maybe as you can never tell 100% with these units)

I tried this, saw the comments.
I can't change my BT password it's on auto option.
In other BT options in the factory settings I don't see on the bt app my phone or the OBD2, tried them all, some even crash the app.
tried to reset the bt and wifi settings but no change.
Post in the MCTD section, they are the maker. But the BT function is deliberately crippled in these units so finding a fix will be hard. I went FYT as the maker and can use OBD on BT and UsB.

sorry I don't know what FYT means.
The 2 major makers are FYT and MCTD, there are 100's of sellers but most are made by these 2 makers.
