4 to 5 hours. Will get you through the day. I have seen reports of more.

Averaging 4-5.5 hours of SOT. Have managed to get 6 a couple times if I don't do any YouTube.

I was initially disappointed, but the AI takes about a week to optimize the battery according to your usage. It is much better now. I can just about get a full day's use, but this is still not as good as my OnePlus 6T.

Like said on Reddit. This has a smaller battery, and higher screen res. Having slightly less battery life is to be expected. If you're going to whine about it on every lg G8 place you can, maybe switch phones.

Great battery. Average SOT between 7-8h

I've had the phone for a couple weeks now. I use the high contrast mode (basically dark mode) and I have adaptive battery and charging enabled.

Using the ATT variant on T-Mobile, which means no B71. Reception is pretty rough for phones without that band here (fringe area of coverage map). Even so the phone is clearly fighting the good fight. Can't wait to get a Tmo model.
Graph starts at 90.

has anyone noticed any difference with AOD on?

Sprint model fares much better on T-Mobile.

My time with android 10, normal use: web browsing, youtube videos, whatsapp, facebook browsing, a few calls, a mix of wifi and lte in a normal day.

Que configuracion llevas para que te haga ese tiempo? yo no llego a las 5 horas ni en sueños!!!

Pues uso el tema oscuro, un fondo negro y las apps lite de facebook, Twitter Instagram y messenger, solo eso.

The AT&T model lacks bands that both the Sprint and T-Mobile version has? Is this something physical in the phone, or simply something to do with the phone radio?

Standby drain

When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Moto Z2 Force's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

After about a week or use I can say this phone has the best standby time of any phone I've used. I'm losing <1% per hour. Screen on time leaves a bit to be desired but personally I'll take a phone with better standby time than more SOT. I've had phones that would lose 3-5% in an hour just being in my pocket. I've also had phones with awful wake lock issues until they were rooted/debloated.
I'm not exactly a power user due to the nature of my job but it's important for me to have my phone when I need it, generally for making calls or texts. I typically end my day with about 2 ½ hours of screen time and ~ 50 - 60%. I have two Gmail accounts syncing and am mostly on mobile data (wish I could disable LTE) I disabled every bloatware app possible without root and have greenify and blockada installed. I keep Bluetooth on and use either Poweramp or Spotify in the car for about 3 hours out of my day.
While I have had phones with better battery life (Xperia Z3 compact) this phone is more than adequate for my needs. If I were a power user hoping to get a ton of screen on time I would look elsewhere.

Can anyone post some SOT pictures? I am curious about it as I want to get this phone but I want it to have at least around same battery life as my note 5 pro.
Are these values normal?

After a full long day of mix usage, inside and outside. I get these most of the time
This is mine.. I am sattisfied with this..
Any updates? How is SOT on MIUI11?
MiUI 10 SoT AVG, 8h (Waze, Games, browser, YouTube, etc, Auto brightness)
MiUI 11 SoT AVG, 6 to 6.5h same usage. Even after a hard reset.
I have great battery ? live with MIUI 11. About 9-10h SOT.
Per night I have lost 3% in 9 hours. ?
I got over 8hr SoT for 55% drain, mostly light task tho

Which ROM are you using?
Also I have seen there some I retesting apps, can you share your tips.
This is with:
Dual Sims (one's data having been used for 3 hours)
Adaptive Battery "On"
Battery Saver "Off"
WiFi "On" all the time
No Battery Restrictions for YT Vanced and microG (Used YT for 3 hours straight)

Second full charge, mostly WiFi, testing emulators and camera
Today's use , LTE all time , listening music all day , streaming music and media.

Well looks like impossible. ?
My use of yesterday through today:
Browsed chrome for 4 hours accumulated, made many 5-10-min. calls, took some photos, listened to music for 6 hours accumulated, and watched 3 hours YouTube.

What's up with the battery life and "Cell standby" percentage?

I bought this 9T a few months ago. I think the SOT I had at first was about 10 hours, which is OK but I've seen better, but now after 3 months of usage it barely achieves 5 hours and the "Cell standby" rating—which I'm not sure what it stands for—is always at the top of the battery drainage list.
What's wrong with this phone? This makes no sense.

This is the cell/modem connexion 4G network.
You made use 2 times 20% of heavy data use in very short time (check it on the curve).
Check the same application you did with a wifi connexion because it can be your network 4G that is weak and lead to this heavy drain.
There are some draining problems in Miui lately. Something is causing this, that's the reason I skipped Xiaomi this time after years of using it.
"TechTablets" review of MiNote 10 also confirmed this. Basically you buy a phone with a beefy battery, but not getting the expected battery life.
I tried everything to sort this out, but it wasn't giving me any results. This was not the case with previous Xiaomi devices, like Mi8...

You said "lately". Yes but latest android 10 eu rom have a much better behavior.
Nlp wakelock is almost stopped and standby drain is lower than 0.5%/h (without AOD)
AOD at day consume some 1% additional.
MiNote10 was reported heavy consumer because of the camera needs.
they will improve at Xiaomi, not overnight but surely.
You'll come back to MIUI.

Light use endurance

Once in a while, when your significant other yells at you, you might use your phone a bit less. Rate this thread to express how the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC's battery performs under light use. A higher rating indicates that the device goes a long time when you're using the phone sparingly: no gaming or video/audio streaming, light web browsing, some calling and texts, etc.

I could get 8 hours of SoT maximum, I expected better thn this.
Used around 50% charge and got 9.5 hours SoT.
60hz, <20% brightness, removed bloatware and disabled apps I don't use, battery saver mode on, heavy web browsing with wifi on most of the time, occasional youtube usage.
I charge about once every 4 days with light use. Though have in mind i use the 25-90% battery saving cycle so if i used 0-100 i would probably get at least another day out of it.
I'm on Nitrogen A11, changed refresh to 60 HZ. Brightness is automatic, i dont bother with setting it manually to low.
It's just a week I own this phone. I get SoT 4-5 hour max and the my battery drops to 20%. Charging every day, some days twice. I've already performed a hard reset after the update to Android 11 (RJGEUXM). Should I consider it a faulty device?

I'm considering buying this phone but what worries me is the battery endurance rating.
I think that there is nothing wrong with your graph, it's just that a modern phone like this one needs a 6000 mAh battery.
My Lenovo P2 has a 5000 mAh battery and it can run for two full days under heavy use (often GPS and maps) I also always leave the phone turned ON during the night.
I suggest you play with the phone's settings, reduce the frame rate, delete useless apps, reduce the screen brightness and so on.

Terrific battery life. I averaged 10+ SOT from my first charge. 90hz always on, QHD always on, brightness varied from Maximum to minimum depending on time of day, mixed usage of camera, youtube, app downloads etc. Very pleased with the battery life. Charging speeds are ridiculous too, 46mins from 0 -100. The battery will get even better as the AI learns the usage pattern. Just excellent

My experience has reflected yours almost exactly! I am thoroughly impressed with the battery life of this device. Battery anxiety is literally not a thing as even if you run low it charges so ridiculously fast that you are topped up before you know it, lol.
Got more than ten hours and have been on phone all day on social apps and YouTube watching videos. With Max resulution and 90 Hz refresh. Plus hotspoted some friends for about 3 hours while in use and I've only put on my power saving at 9%. Full charge at 1 pm today.

Got more than 10 hours of SOT with Max resolution and 90 Hz refresh. Last charge to 100 at 1 pm. Been on it nonstop and had hotspot on for a good three hours. This phone shocks me a lot. Been watching videos and on social media. So quite some heavy use. The king of battery.

This is really great!
Hey guys, got mine second hand (1 year old, still in warranty, perfect, like new condition with 95% battery health calculated by system) but I'm having a different experience. 4 to 5 hours SoT and I charge it daily. Maybe due to EMUI12?
