Hello, what's up? my phone is bricked, I need help to restore it to the rom stock or to install a version that makes it work again.
First of all I tell you what happened, try to install an image of a rom gsi android PIE (treble). It did not work, and it stayed in bootloop.
Huawei's Multi-tools program tells me that it has version b374 c636, but phoenix says "Current version: VKY-Global-CUST 9.0.1 (C999)"
Beyond that I can not make any twrp recognize me as to transfer the files from the computer, so I'm using an external SD card.
I downloaded the same firmware I had before, b374 c636 for the VKY-l29 but I can not install it, and probe with the huawei update extractor, and flashing the images separately, but also try to put the dload folder with the update file .app but when it reaches a certain percentage of installation, a "software installation failed" message appears
also try with the hwota8, putting the 3 zips with the "recovery no-check" and with the file of hwota-update.zip. But when I install it with the twrp reboots and it stays locked in verifying update ..
I do not know what else to do, if someone could help me solve it I would appreciate it I am desperate.

Hi, I was helped and escape the bootloop by flashing thiw one here, but it is only for C432.
Could you possibly find a similar version?
Also, take a look in this thread, especialy this post from blackball. Could you maybe flash this one?

unless someone wants to share his (for the same model and firmware), you don't. try the guides to downgrade to mm and then upgrade to nougat again. and take a backup of your boot image in twrp before modifying nougat
what will happen if I flash a boot image of another model of the same phone?

What error/behaviour are you getting from erecovery?

Hello mate. Thanks for your time.
ERecovery crash everytime at 5%. If I try to download via erecovery, it doesn't download.
I've tried to extract the files from update. App, and inject them via fastboot. It goes to the end of the operation, but once rebooted, it bootloop before the Huawei logo..
I don't understand what happens.. It's like if the phone don't want the original firmware anymore..
If you have any files to propose me, I really want to try tonight...
Can you somehow recover your original oeminfo with TWRP and retry erecovery? That's how I got out of a similar situation, although I can't say for sure whether I really had the same root cause.
Hmm not sure that the oem info is ok or corrupted...

In that case you could try funkyhuawei, they provide their own oeminfo and erecovery connection. They do cost money though.
May I ask what makes you want to go away from the fromfuture ROM?

Well, I found a recent rom from future. Had some troubles with Android locking magisk, but now it's working ( update magisk before putting your Gmail account and restore). For now it's working fine. Just had a few freezes here and there but since this morning it's going fine. I think I'll stay with it for now.

Hi everyone, I installed RR on my P10 lite (WAS-LX1A) and all used to work great except for the sound so I thought that the ROM was not good and I began to reinstall the backup of EMUI I did with TWRP but without success. So I searched online the stock firmware and I found several versions and I tried to install one using a guide and It seemed to work until I began the first configuration of the device. Every time I finish the configuration It resends me to the beginning and I cannot install other firmwares because they stuck on 5% or it gives me "Installation failed". I cannot install TWRP too because fastboot says "command not allowed" when I try to flash it even if my bootloader and Phone Finder are unlocked. Please help me.
I succeded in installing EMUI bit it's NRD90M test keys. I found online some guides that say to use twrp in order to flash the full update. But I cannot install any twrp because when I go in fastboot mode it says:
Bootloader unlock (red)
FRP Lock (green)
you need restore device with dcphoenix(paid method)
For any steps of fastboot, need frp unlock.

Hello, you can not do nothing if either FRP or bootloader are locked. You can either use DC Unlocker to unlock the FRP lock or DC Phoenix To Flash The Stock Image all over again... or you can take it to repair for mainboard replacement. I reccomend that you unlock frp and then extract the stock firmware using huawei update extractor. You can get the firmware by installing Firmware Finder On your pc and then searching for an appropriate firmware.

missing some apps because of dead cust,vendor,product...etc.
You can restore your phone using stock system updater and huawei firmware finder's proxy server
update to your device firmware version's fullOTA
and you can back to stock!

No updater, no file manager, no stock gapps(i dont care), build number system-5.1.78(fail to change oeminfo etc..) so tell me clearly like fix.

try firmware updating with hisuite + huawei firmware finder's proxy
I tried but it's stopped at 5% of installation. I cannot do a update through the updater because it doesn't exist in this test version. Can I try something else?

I wanted to flash my huawei p10 plus, and by mistake I put the rom of p10, when turning on the phone has no network and the installed version is ONYX d188, it turns on normal, but when I put the program does not install anything, but from the fastboot bat if you can install the twpr, but I can not install the rom vky that is the p10 plus. it loads all the files to me but when installing the recovery for reboot and installation does not do it, it says that it does not find them. Through the bat file, I do not install recovery or oeminfo or anything, but through fastboot, I can install the twpr, and the recovery, as I see the problem is in the oeminfo, is there any way to reinstall by fastboot?

I solve it!
the problem was that the .bat did not recognize the cell phone. but if the file is renamed, it will recognize it without problem. the answer is in this forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/help/error-message-hwota-t3676935 . and the procedure is normal for this forum: https://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1308963 just rename the hwota.sh.
Hello, the problem is what i want restore my Huawei p9 Lite vns-l23c212 but i have installed the EliteRom and the TWRP Elite, so i dont have the partitions (cust, vendor..) and not have a backup of that.

Yes, the rollback package will give you
c900 global firmware. From there install
B160 for dual sim, B161 for single sim..
When you will stay with this firmware,
update using updater stock or use Firmware Finder..
Follow the guide..

Dont know the one for your cust/region (C212).

You need FULL OTA UPDATE package, it must be
1.7/1.9 gbytes in size wich cames with data..
Flash new one or repeat the whole process.
I found this firmware on internet,
but do not assume any responsability.
If you want give a try here the direct download..
Check it with an antivirus/antimalware software..

Hello, I have already downloaded that file and I already flashed it but the compilation says that it is C900B130 .... instead of C212B130, so how do I change the cust to C212 ?, because with the other I can not receive the update of emui5, and if the effort with the Finder Firmware gives me the NRD90M test keys.

My friend to bring back to MM
you have to strictly follow the guide i posted you..
So you need VNS-L23C212 rollback package then
extract update.app, create a "dload" folder in SD and
pur in it. Turn off and proceed with three buttons method*****
When finished you will have C900 firmware..
(that's a LIMBO firmware)
Delete update.app from SD card...(not dload folder)
Now take tour VNL-L23C212Bxxx firmware,
extract update.app, put in dload folder in SD card
and repeat with three buttons metod.
If all take right direction at end of flash, after booting,
reboot to e-recovery (vol up+ power button) and make a factory reset. Now you have MM firmware..
That's the guide say...
*****= vol up+vol down+power button until It start flashing
That's all my friend...

i have installed twrp, creat backup and went on to change the cust to 185 from c432. its bricked , i restored my backup but it went in boot loop with huawei logo, then i want to install coustom rom it said
"failed to mount '/vendor '(invalid argument) "
"failed to mount '/product '(invalid argument) "
its not end yet then i factory reset , restore again this time it doesnt goes to boot loop, but an error message "unable to wipe vendor"
