I don't think manufacturer give you android 9 update but you can look for custom rom for your android. But it also looks difficult to find android 9 custom rom since your android runs on android 5.1 which is bit old.

Huawei Mate 8 CyanogenMod compatibility?

Hi everyone! I'm a new user so I don't know if I post at right place. Anyway, I use Huawei Mate 8 with EMUI which contains full of "unwanted elements". The specifications are great but the UI makes it horrible. I'm planning to flash custom ROM such as CyanogenMod but after multiple searching I found out Huawei Mate 8 might not compatible for CyanogenMod flashing. Is this true? If so, what other alternative ROM will Huawei Mate 8 compatible? I would like to flash it with stock Android-like custom ROM. I don't want to use horrible manufacturer UI. I don't want to use KangVIP because it's still EMUI based or some what looks like EMUI...
There is no custom rom atm.
Maybe try this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/development/rom-simply-google-t3311395
its nearest cyanogenmod

Is it possible to downgrade Nexus?

I'm now using Android Oreo, but I'm considering installing unofficial Android system to my Nexus. I'd like to try Android Oreo or android Nougat. But the thing is I'm afraid that my phone may be laggy or buggy.
According to the post for Nougat port, the camera doesn't work well on the system.
So I'm wondering if I can downgrade to my Android Lollipop in case I can't stand the new system.
Thanks!
You can switch ROMs back and forth at any time, just make sure you make backups and always do a clean flash. Custom ROMs are always a subject to bugs so go for the most stable one you can find which would be Lineage OS.

There are many rock stable Nougat ROMs available for mako and you can easily find them on xda. Even some of the Oreo ROMs are stable enough to be daily drivers...
And yes, you can downgrade or upgrade the versions as you wish (that's the benefit of having a Nexus phone, isn't it?)

I want to know if someone found an android 4.4 custom rom for nokia 520

Im searching for an android 4.4 custom rom for a nokia 520, because android 6.0.1 is very unstable and android 7.1 very laggy, thinking this nokia has got 512 mb of ram, i think that android 4 is the best option fot this phone.
Android 7.1 works a little bit better than Android 6. There is an Android 4.4 ROM by @thinhx2 but it's more outdated and unstable than latest Android4Lumia LineageOS 13.0/LineageOS 14.1 ROMs.

How to Buy a G950F that is running Android 7 (Nougat)?

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to find and purchase an S8 that is running Nougat..
Why don't you just buy an s8 running Android 9 and either: flash a Custom rom, or just flash Android 7 firmware from Odin?

The S8 can't regress back to Android 7 from Android 9 or most version of Android 8 because of how Samsungs handled updates to the bootloader. As far as I can tell, if bootloader version is higher than 1, then Android 7 Nougat cannot be flashed. If bootloader version is 5 or higher, then Android 8 Oreo cannot be flashed.
I had hoped to use Nougat; which is why I focused on this phone. If I were to be stuck with Pie I would've explored other devices with more depth.
I have no idea if one can flash a custom Nougat ROM to a v5 bootloader. I suppose if someone technically took Nougat and modified it to work with the other bootloaders...but the Custom ROMs aimed at Nougat or Oreo have been EOL for some time now.
And for my uses it'd be better to keep stock; just need Android 7 for things to go smoothly.

Recommend a T819Y rom newer than Android 7?

After reading through the custom roms for my T819Y, it looks like most have some issue or several features don't work or are unsupported in the custom rom.
I'm looking for recommendations for a stable version newer than Android V7.
Thanks
LineageOS 16 by @LuK1337. You can find it in Tab S2 Original Android Development, despite the fact that our T819Ys are the second version Tab S2.
Also, it's made for T819, I'm not sure what the exact differences are yet, but I feel like it's band support maybe... Make sure to download the exact Android Nougat rom just in case!
Small update, on ROMs newer than Android 7, you can't use mobile data or anything of the sort at all.
Looks like it's time for an upgrade.
